You get what you pay for, excellent products, I got a mirrored and heated bathroom cabinet -with usb ports 4 years ago, the light failed, I contacted the retailer and they provided all the details required, HIB replaced the cabinet, so pleased I bought such a great product in the first place and received outstanding service from their customer support department.

£600 bathroom cabinet electronics broke after 2.5 years, but warranty covers only 2 years. Avoid.

Fantastic customer service from James Pemberton in the product support team.
Three years ago our bathroom was installed by a local fitter. Last year the extractor fan developed an intermittent fault which steadily became worse. I contacted HiB to see if they could sell me a new motor for the extractor as everywhere else was only selling the complete kit.
Without any hesitation James told me that he would arrange for a replacement fan to be sent to me free of charge, all I needed to do was send him proof of purchase for the original unit.
The replacement fan arrived in around four working days and is installed and running perfectly.
Well done James and HiB - this is customer service like I have never experienced before - thank you.

We purchased a vanquish 60 recessed cabinet for our en-suite, dissatisfied with it as it buzzed terribly which disturbed my sleep😩 James at HIB quickly resolved the problem of replacing the cabinet which is now much quieter 😃 5 stars HIB

Excellent company and excellent customer service. Bought a HiB bathroom cabinet, through another company,18 months ago, some of the LED light failed so I emailed HiB with pictures and they sent me a new cabinet within a week. Iam very grateful to Charlotte Antley in HiB customer support..She was very helpful and made the whole thing very easy. It is very reassuring to see a company taking care of its customers these days..unfortunately not many do that once they have taken your money.

Excellent customer service
Excellent and professional service from James and Charlotte in product support. Had problem with bathroom cabinet which I believe was cobbled together by installer. Sent two new doors straight away. Doors were infact not from HiB. Likely to change cabinet now and very likely to choose HiB on the strength of their service.
Exceptional after sales service
After having a HiB Eris 60 bathroom cabinet fitted i have been in contact with the customer service team twice and both times they have been wonderful to deal with, although my cabinet is over two years old one of my soft close hinges has been damaged and they are sending a replacement F.O.C. customer goodwill, i would like to say the quality of the product is brilliant but i believe the customer servie is eaven better, thank you Charlotte for your assistance.
Out of pocket replacement/Short Guarantee times
Purchased a Globe 140 mirror and within a year the light had stopped working. Hib informed the shop I purchased through that it was likely to be the driver or switch, they posted these to me. They expected me to fit these but as my electrician explained this would have been impossible. When my electrician visited he discovered it was neither the driver or switch that had the problem, we needed a new mirror. This was sent. My complaint is although customer service appeared good they did not instruct an electrician at their cost to fit my new mirror. They contributed £50 towards the fitting but with two electricians visits and the time involved I spent in excess of £70 so I am out of pocket. I spent over £500 on this mirror and am extremely disappointed as to how this was dealt with. I am keeping my fingers crossed I have no further problems.
** Update - Five days later and no response from HIB, I was hoping they would contact me. I have now discovered my replacement mirror only has a 2 year guarantee from the original purchase date. Therefore my replacement now has less than a 1 year guarantee. I will not be purchasing anything from HIB again**
Hib Globe 120 - good service
We had a Hib Globe 120 mirror - when it was 3.5 years old the light stopped working - we thought it might be the sensor and contacted Hib. James Pemberton asked us a few questions and then agreed it was probably the sensor. They sent a replacement sensor and associated electrical box which we fitted - it was quite easy - they also sent detailed instructions. I am pleased to say that it worked. After 3.5 years, they could have told us it was out of warranty (which it was) but they tried and succeeded in helping us. We will definitely buy another Hib mirror in future.
I have had 2 mirror cabinets installed
I have had 2 mirror cabinets installed. The 1st one had some Bluetooth speakers. After about 6 months working, the LED lights started to fail. After one year of installation, both the LED lighting and the speakers didn't work. The 2nd cabinet (replacement for the faulty one) did not have speakers, but after 4 months of installation, the LED lights in one half of the mirror are not working. I do not recommend this cabinets
Great Customer Service
Couldn't fault the customer service of this company. I ordered a bathroom light up mirror from this brand but another supplier. It was part of an order of multiple electrical items and so I waited for all the items to arrive to have the electrician them. Unfortunately, the HiB mirror had a faulty part so I contacted the company I ordered from. They flat out didn't care, stating it was 14 days past the order date and therefore it's not their issue.
While they may think that, there are consumer rights laws but they didn't care, even after writing to them I got no response.
I decided to call HiB in the hope of getting some help and I couldn't have had better service, they asked for photos of the issue and the batch number which I sent via email. They have organised for a replacement and will collect the old mirror. Couldn't thank them enough for their fast response and ease of getting help. Such a stark contrast to the company I purchased their product from.
PS. I love the mirror cabinet, it's great!

Brilliant Company to Deal With
I have two HiB bathroom cabinets. I bought them because they were a very good stylish design and well made. The non touch hand operated mirror light was an excellent feature. Since I've had them a couple of the little plastic clips that secure the glass shelves had broken. HiB (May) couldn't have been more helpful in supplying me with some spares. Really nice to deal with a company that values its after sales customers.
