Hugh Rice the Jewellers was established in 1971 by Hugh. His brother Mike joined him three years later as an apprentice jeweller, and the store remains to this day a family-owned and run business. We at Hugh Rice are immensely proud of our heritage, from humble beginnings as a basement workshop to a chain of thriving high street jewellery stores stocking the most recognisable and loved brands from across the world. We are specialists in diamond jewellery and luxury watches, and always deliver an outstanding level of customer care. Our on-site Service and Design Centre continues to provide bespoke in-house jewellery designs, watch servicing and jewellery repair.

Disappointing
I was visiting Harrogate for the day and decided to pop into your store as I use the Hull store and the staff are amazing.As I entered there was a young girl sat at a desk on a ipad the way she looked at me made me feel very uncomfortable like I shouldn't of been there she asked if she could help me but at this stage I felt like she was looking down at me I did ask to look at a watch but this had put me off but i did sit down and view.When ever I go into Hull i always get a warm smile and it is a lovely atmosphere I am afraid this was not the case in Harrogate the young girl ( I think she was called Connie) maybe needs a bit of customer care training to make customers feel at ease like they do in Hull what a shame as I always tell all my friends about the service I recieve in Hugh Rice .

Great customer experience
Great customer experience, personal service like it used to be years ago, We were kept informed by Kristian while waiting for my wife’s Rolex to be repaired! We would highly recommend Kristian and Hugh Rice Rolex to anyone.

The bracelet was broken and tarnished
The bracelet was broken, there was a part missing, and the chain was tarnished. For an expensive Gucci bracelet this was very disappointing.
The reason for not 1 star is because the lady I dealt with in customer service was lovely. I am awaiting my refund and would not use again.
