Hugh Rice the Jewellers was established in 1971 by Hugh. His brother Mike joined him three years later as an apprentice jeweller, and the store remains to this day a family-owned and run business. We at Hugh Rice are immensely proud of our heritage, from humble beginnings as a basement workshop to a chain of thriving high street jewellery stores stocking the most recognisable and loved brands from across the world. We are specialists in diamond jewellery and luxury watches, and always deliver an outstanding level of customer care. Our on-site Service and Design Centre continues to provide bespoke in-house jewellery designs, watch servicing and jewellery repair.

We have been long time customers with Hugh Rice and always had great service. This year we have purchased a few items from them and we have received fantastic service from Nikki (shop manager) and Kristian (Rolex dept). They are more than a typical high street jeweller and we have always been treated as special and part of 'the family'.

Staff are very friendly and helpful
Staff are very friendly and helpful. Recently they tried to help us beyond their opening hours when my disabled husband needed a ring removing urgently. Unfortunately it was beyond what they were able to do but they didn’t charge us for waiting to help us.

A superb experience with Kristian and Allun from start to collection date. I would urge anybody to contact Hugh Rice before going to any out of town Authorised Dealer, not only will you be treated with respect and honesty but it will be a friendly and welcoming experience you would expect from a long established family business.
