Extremely Disappointing Experience – Poor Quality and Terrible Customer Service

I had always thought of HVISK as a cool, affordable brand offering stylish bags at a reasonable price point. Unfortunately, my recent experience has been nothing short of disappointing.

I placed an online order, excited to receive a bag that looked great in the photos. However, when it arrived, the bag was completely different from what I had expected. The cut and design were nothing like what was advertised.

To make matters worse, the customer service was abysmal. It took forever to receive a response, and when I finally did, I was simply told to return the item – but with one catch: returns are at the customer's expense. Considering the prices, this made the whole process not worth it. The cost of returning the bag would likely exceed the value of the product itself, which meant I was stuck with an item I didn’t want.

In conclusion, HVISK’s products may seem appealing at first glance, but the quality and customer service are severely lacking. I would strongly advise potential buyers to think twice before making a purchase. There are plenty of other brands offering better value for money.

Enttäuschend auf ganzer Linie

Bestellung wurde einfach an eine andere Adresse, DPD Abholstelle, anstatt der Lieferadresse gesendet. Habe nie eine Antwort auf meine Mails seit 3 Wochen bekommen. Auch nicht auf die vom 5.1.
Heute kam einzig die Bestätigung, dass meine Zahlung über Klarna nicht belastet wird. Aber dafür darf ich jetzt trotzdem 2.06 bezahlen, weil der Wechselkurs nun anders ist und sie nicht fähig waren die Bestellung an die Lieferadresse zu senden. Für den Versand 0 Sterne, Kundendienst -1 Stern und Produkt unsichtbare Sterne.
Sehr traurig für diesen Shop. Er könnte Potential haben, aber so wird dies nie etwas! Enttäuschend auf ganzer Linie.

Vi finder ud af den er for lille og vil sende retur, MEN de henviser til to forskellige adresser og når man prøver at kontakte deres kundeservice, enten via mail eller tlf, så svarer de IKKE. Jeg skrev d. 29/12 og har ringet utallige gange, men uden held. Det er utrolig dårlig service!

Quality is very poor

A few months after buying the bag (April to May), the bag started to break. The leather fell apart, one of the handles lost its thread, making it completely unusable. Inside the bag, hidden, you can see that it is made in China, while claiming to be made in Denmark. In other words, this brand is a complete SCAM.
The joke costed 80 euros.

Poor quality

The strap snapped after about 10 uses and it was not cheap. However the quality of the bag is cheap. I won't buy from this brand again.

No reply from customer service

I received a faulty item and I’ve been trying to contact the brand since 16/06 without any luck. There’s only one way to reach out customer support (a mailbox) and, after four emails, no reply. This is super frustrating, just silence, a faulty item that I can’t use and my money gone…

Such a scam!

Ordered a huge takis box, sine there was 90 percent off. The same day my card gets blocked and the order didn't even go through! Such a scam!

De levering van de handtas was zeer…

De levering van de handtas was zeer vlot maar helaas werd hij geleverd met een vlek. 29/03 stuurde ik zoals aangegeven een mail naar de klantenservice met foto’s. Omdat ik geen reactie kreeg stuurde ik een reminder en een bericht via Instagram. Ook telefonisch proberen te contacteren zonder resultaat. Tot op heden nog geen reactie op mijn mails of berichten. Heel jammer want vind het een heel leuke merk. Hopelijk krijg ik alsnog een reactie.

The bag size is smaller than claimed

The bag size is smaller than claimed on the website: 50cm in width in reality, versus the 60 cm that is stated on the website.
The overall quality is fine but definitely is not worth the price, even with a Black Friday discount.
The return system is outdated and inconvenient which makes me not want to deal with the return at all. :(
This is my third bag from Hvisk and I've been the brand's fan for a couple of years now. I guess I was just unlucky with my choice this time.
Overall: the bag is OK and is still usable, but I was disappointed with the improper size information, hence not happy about the price.

Other chain would be better

I bought the Doka mini metallic structure - sheeny green. When I attached the chain and hang it on my shoulders, the chain immediately broke. The openings in the plastic hoops are to big. It's not worth the money. A leather strap or a strap in one piece would be better! Very stad because I was looking forward to getting my first HVISK bag.. The bag itself is really cute and my essentials fit in perfectly. Don't rely on the chain.

Truly the worst made product

Truly the worst made product - a vegan leather bag - I have ever bought. The stitching failed on the strap several times, the lining tore, the trim is peeling off and one of the seams are coming apart. This is not a sustainable product at all. It is about 6 months old but I would expect it to last a few years at least. Don't buy anything from this company.

I was excited to see a vegan brand with…

I was excited to see a vegan brand with stylish, fun bags and ordered 2 within a short period of time. The bags fade, the paint comes off, the construction is poor. Very soon you will carry around a faded cheap pvc bag, and while these bags are not expensive, it prompts me to say that it's still a waste of money.

Awful customer service

Awful customer service. My order got cancelled and did not went through their system after waiting 2 weeks. I asked for a refund but still have not yet received after 1 months. They said that my transaction did not went through their system which is confusing because when I paid for my order, a confirmation email was sent to me stating that my order was about to be shipped in the next few days. Just wondering how my transaction did not went through when I clearly received a cobfirmation email? How is that even possible. Customer service is also terrible, very slow reply. Can take you a week for them to reply and not helpful at all! Do not purchase from here! Very terrible!

Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever. They don’t send you notifications about your delivery and I missed it. I have sent 20 emails now and they never came back to me and I still have no clue where my package is.
I have lost my money and they will probably disappear without any answer.

Annulleret ordre

Jeg bestilte en taske på Black friday, da jeg længe har manglet en taske, og tænkte det var smart at slå til mens der var tilbud.
Jeg får så en mail her en hel uge efter, hvor der står, at de har annulleret min ordre.
Da jeg lavede min bestilling stod der absolut ingenting om, at denne taske ikke var på lager eller at der kun var få tilbage.
Det er ekstremt irriterende, at jeg nu her en uge efter sidder uden taske og uden mulighed for at købe en anden, da alle tilbud er væk.
Mega ærgerligt oplevelse, og jeg vil ikke anbefale nogen at handle hos dem.
