Helpful staff on the phone. Quick processing once problem with the company I was transferring from was resolved.

Interest rate good, easy to complete without problems.

A good simple process in opening and administering the cash Isa.

I found a easy to use website, very competitive interest rates but above all, a bank I trust with my money.

Information and security was excellent. In an easy to read/understand format.
There was no app for personal savings, which was disappointing as most competitors provide that facility.

It was easy to set up my account with Investec. Did it all online, with minimum stress. Investec, has kept me informed, about my account. Very happy with them, plus a great interest rate.

My experience was so good. Must admit I’m not very savvy with online banking but your website made it a breeze to navigate through. Straightforward and simple with no jargon to scare me. I will be using investec more frequently because of the ease . Thank you.

easy to take out, good interest rate

Easy to open and manage on line. Good rate of interest at the time of opening on a fixed rate for two small cash isa’s.

I’m not sure where I can see my ISA statement?
I tried the website but it seemed as if it was for other types of investments.
Could be me, but I thought I would find it easier.

Straightforward and simple to do

From the very start, the operatives were very helpful and understanding.
It wasn't just a one off call, I was very cautious and made several calls.

Good saving rate and account was easy to open, just a shame Investec Save don't have a mobile App!!

This review was prompted by Investec asking me to post a review. I opening a cash ISA account in May 2025 because the rate and terms were competitive, and because I had previous positive experience of Investec as a business customer, and my wife had similar experience as an individual. Since the account has been up & running, I haven't had cause to change this view.
So why only 3 stars? My experience of actually opening the account was painful. I have never before experienced such a pedantic and unbending approach to onboarding a new customer. My experience has been the subject of a previous Trustpilot review and a formal complaint to Investec, so I won't repeat the detail.

To date, August '26, all I've done, in April '26, is open the Account. There have been no communications or transactions yet...How am I to date my experience? There have been none...

Thank you for the opportunity to comment on my experience so far with Investec. After completing my easy to complete application for a fixed term ISA I have nothing else add.

I would have liked to transfer an existing ISA in, but the message 'this feature will be available soon' last most of the year.

I learnt too late that the interest on my ISA would be paid outside of the ISA, therefore not increasing the balance of my ISA within the tax-free wrapper.

Both of these complaints are undoubtedly my own ignorance, not reading the terms and conditions thoroughly enough, but they were also not totally up front and clear about these things in the account summary.

I won't be using Investec again, there are much better products out there and it's important you look around.
