This is absolutely NOT a gimmick
The One Star reviews here are surprising. I have had this device for 15 months and have been using it as instructed. I thought I noticed improvements in my (reflux) symptoms after three months. After six months, I knew I was getting relief. A year down the line my symptoms had all but gone. I get occasional relapses but the IQORO has made an enormous improvement for me. Anybody complaining it hasnt worked after a few months hasn't given it long enough. I would also urge users to make use of the customer support on offer. This is not a gimmick. If it was, it wouldnt now be available on the NHS. Best £140 I ever spent after over a decade of suffering (wasn't on the NHS when I bought mine). It is also still good as new despite use three times a day.
This is Trustpilot. This company can and should be trusted. Their product has been developed by clinicians, trialled, results peer reviewed and is now approved by the medical authorities. I suggest reading those documents, all of which are available on the internet, and then discussing with your doctor based on your own symptoms.

As you say, if IQoro was only a gimmick there is no way that the NHS would have made IQoro available. Now let's hope other caregivers follow the NHS making IQoro available in other countries as well.

Positive results.
I have just completed 6 months following the training regime with IQoro and have experienced a significant improvement in my ability to swallow. I had struggled previously no matter what I ate and felt tension at every meal. I can now enjoy food again and meals are once more a pleasurable experience. I am certain the use of the IQoro device and programme is responsible for the improvement and recommend it unreservedly.

6 months is the average of training to get good results and for some it takes a bit longer.

Jag började träna med IQoro i slutet av mars pga reflux. Efter några månader försvann de svåra symtomen. Jag fortsätter att träna men inte lika intensivt. Känner att jag behöver underhålla muskelträningen. Kan varmt rekommendera IQoro den gör underverk.

This company is to be avoided at all costs! I found their product useless and their guarantee not exactly 'quibble-free'.. I asked for my money back after five months, and they said I had to wait six months. So I tried another few months, and they have refused to refund because now it is too long and other spurious excuses.
They did offer me the possibility of a refund if I tried for another 6 months, but this just kicks the can down the road.
I rarely do any trust pilot reviews, but Iqoro have been so unhelpful in their dealings with me that I would like to warn other reflux sufferers that they should not waste their time or money!

Yes, the results guarantee contains terms and conditions that needs to be fulfilled in order to invoke it.
You bought your device 20 November 2021, you contacted us Mars 30th, about 4 months later. At that time we could not approve that because you had not been training for the minimum of 6 months and the reason to that is that we know it takes time to rebuild weakened muscles.
At that point we offered a support call to go through your training to make sure you’d find good results for the last two months and then if you hadn't gotten any improvements you could have return your device for a refund but we heard nothing back from you until September 2022.
We then still wanted to honor our original agreement and offered you another 6 months for the chance of making a difference in your symptoms by rather than "try" the device and only training about 5 days a week and about 2-3 times a day to actually give it a fair chance and train as instructed.
Your reply to us was that you would be ”just another bad review” on Trustpilot.
The offer still stands, should you choose to accept it.

IQoro kostar 1145:- + frakt och som redan befintlig kund har ni utöver garantitiden en årlig återköpsrabatt på 20%.
En del vårdgivare i Danmark har nu kännedom om IQoro och har förskrivit IQoro på recept.
Att behandla grundorsaken till reflux och klumpkänsla är bättre än att varje år äta medicin för att bara lindra symtomen.

It worked for me
I find the hate here for this device kind of strange. It was really 1 star bombed to death. I've used it now for about a 1 year. It's still in great condition - I can't see why I'd need to order a replacement.
Has it 'worked'? I had huge issues with GERD, mucus in throat, swallowing problems and was skinny for all my 38 years - could never put on weight. I looked emaciated.
Since using this thing, I've actually gained normal weight. My swallowing problems and throat mucus problems have not vanished, but they've noticeably diminished.
The weight gain, though, is amazing. You might think that sounds negative, but I used to look like a skeleton. Bony hands and wrists. I now look like a normal man.
I give it 4 stars because it is extremely difficult to know how to actually use this device correctly. I made a mess of it in the beginning and I think damaged my throat by pulling too 'firmly'. I think their instruction videos need to be more precise about what 'firm' means.
A moderate level of force has really given me major gains IMO. The NCBI have also conducted research on this, and have proven it to be effective. It is scientifically valid - it's just very, very unusual and I don't think they got their training instructions right.
All of that said, I'd buy it for the rest of my life. But like I said, I'm a year in and the complaints above don't ring true for me: I use it 3 times a day, it's still as good as new.

Used for 1 year, symptoms now 100% worse
Bought July 2021. Used for 1 year, 2-3 times per day, 5-7 days per week.
Has given my absolutely horrific acid reflux which I had never experienced prior to starting using Iqoro. Has caused my medication levels to go up from very occasional PPI use to 40MG of Nexium per day.
Iqoro advice is for me to continue with training, what really? I am bitterly disappointed with the results and feel like a fool for investing so much time and effort on the training over the past year.

Hi Gary,
So sorry to hear about that. Did you change anything else in your medication or lifestyle when starting treatment with IQoro? How does your eating habits look like? Do you prepare your body to eat, and enjoy food in a calm setting? Or do you almost inhale it on the way to some place?
Stopping medication too quickly can cause the symptoms you describe. It is called the rebound effect and is due to the fact that Proton Pump Inhibitors (PPIs), containing e.g. omeprazole have reduced the production of stomach acid by as much as 80%. When you quickly stop the medication, the body's signals to produce stomach acid have been blocked by your medication for some time and therefore extra high signals finally arrive when you suddenly take away that blockage and you will get a much higher production of stomach acid than you need. Which gives you the signal that you have gotten much worse and need to keep on taking medication. But it’s really the body's natural response to the sudden loss of medication. Your body needs time to adjust to get correct levels of stomach acid again.
If this is possible what happened, it’s important to first strengthen your weakened diaphragm causing your acid reflux first. When you’ve trained for at least 3 months and your symptoms feel better, talk to your doctor and see if you can lower your dosage of PPIs. If ok, lower the mg slowly according to your doctor's scheme to avoid rebound. You need to be patient. Even after only three days of use of PPIs, ( containing e.g. omeprazol) you may suffer rebound effects which can last for as long as 6 months. But with IQoro and also looking at your eating habits. You will manage.
I don't know if that's the case in your case, but that could be an explanation.
Another question I get when I read your comment is whether you had the right training technique?
Have you resolved both of these questions with our support. If yes, then maybe you are one of the 3% for whom the treatment does not work. Just as penicillin doesn't work for everyone, IQoro doesn't work for everyone either. But 97% improve according to studies. In that case I’m sorry.

Fungerade inte alls! Efter varje samtal med supporten ökade de tiden som jag borde använda den för att märka resultat. Efter 8 månader hade jag fortfarande inte märkt någon förbättring alls, och fick då informationen att det kan ta lika lång tid som jag har haft symptom innan jag blir bättre! För min del handlar det om 15 år, vilket är helt ohållbart! För att inte tala om den otrevliga supporten som kallade mig otacksam och gnällig för att jag tyckte det var svårt att få till det i vardagen att använda redskapet tre gånger om dagen, varje dag utan uppehåll! Jag pusslade ihop det och tackade nej till resor osv för att kunna följa alla instruktioner exakt - för att jag tänkte att det skulle vara värt det, men icke..
Känner mig så lurad och rekommenderar inte IQoro till någon!
Och ska det ta mer än ett år att ens bli det minsta bättre så måste man ju enligt er köpa en ny IQoro och bli lurad på lika mycket pengar igen! 😡

Det verkar som det blivit något rejält missförstånd i kommunikationen mellan vår kundsupport och dig.
Det tar inte 15år att blir bra om man haft symtomen/besvären i så lång tid.
Däremot kan det såklart ta längre tid än genomsnittet.
Våra användare har rapporterat omkring 6-8 månader i genomsnitt men i vissa fall har effekt uppnåtts efter bara 3 månader likväl som vi vet att en del fått träna mer än ett år också, ibland uppemot 18 månader.
Gällande bemötandet ber vi om ursäkt om du blivit orättvist behandlad. Här verkar det också blivit något missförstånd.
Tränar du med IQoro så behöver man inte tacka nej till resor eller ändra på sina dagliga rutiner.
IQoro tränar du mycket riktigt med varje dag men på tider det passar dig. Du behöver alltså inte träna på samma tider från dag till dag.
Kontakta oss igen så ska vi göra vårt yttersta för att även du skall få resultat av din träning.
Gällande att köpa ny IQoro är det inget du måste göra efter ett år. När det blir förslitningar på din IQoro kontaktar du oss men du behöver alltså inte köpa en ny innan din gamla IQoro är utsliten.

IQoro gave me horrid reflux
Got IQoro 3 months ago. I am an nhs consultant who had a stroke affecting my speech and swallowing. I used it precisely following the instructions. It provided no improvement in 13 weeks use. All the manufacturers say is you need to use it for longer BUT now it has given me reflux . A waste of time and money.

Well I have had the device some time…
Well I have had the device some time now and it does not seem to have done anything at all . I should have been alerted by the high cost for a small plastic plate that is probably knocked out for 10 pence in China . How they can justify £145 for it I have yet to understand

Proceed with extreme caution!
Bought this and cannot return because hidden in the leaflet which is inside the box is more detail about when you shouldn't use this product. I have trigeminal neuralgia and if you have this you should NOT use this product. However, this information is not obvious at any stage during purchase (or endless marketing telling you why you should use it!) unless you delve very deeply into the FAQs. I haven't used it but still cannot return as the box was opened (to read the leaflet you have to!) so all in all a waste of money, and poor attempts to compensate me for this other than "we'll look into making this clearer on our website". These are not cheap items so please proceed with caution before parting with your cash! Very disappointing experience and subsequent customer care.

be careful
i ordered and paid for the device on the uk website. £145 for the device and £10 delivery. I then receive an email from DHL asking me to pay £42 !!!! in duty and tax. So this piece of plastic is costing £200.
They state that you can return the device if not satisfied - so that would probably cost another £52 meaning you had lost a total of £104 !!!!! even if you got a refund for the device. Be careful...see if you can purchase anywhere for sure from england.
wish i had looked on ebay first.

Warranty is only 7 months
This product cracked before it was a year old. I followed the instructions on how to use Iqoro from their video and was careful not to damage it as it is expensive. When I sent a photo showing the crack that had appeared I was informed that the warranty is only 7 months. I was offered a new one for a discount of 50% but have not accepted this proposal.

Yes, IQoro comes with a seven-month manufacturing guarantee, starting from the date of purchase. IQoro is a hygiene product and is CE labelled for a service life of one year under normal use. We recommend that you replace your IQoro annually.
Differences in care and use can cause IQoro to wear out faster. IQoro can withstand 120°C. It can be boiled or washed in the dishwasher occasionally. However, this reduces the long-term durability of the product.
I understand you have taken good care of your product, therefore you’ve got the discount of 50% for a new one, even though time was running up for a year which it is CE-marked for. If you want to use the discount or not is of course up to you.
