Hello and welcome, my name is Joe Biggs, and I would love to be your Personal Holiday Advisor! I started my travel career in 2007, completing an apprenticeship and NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Travel and Tourism Services with TUI. After two years as an apprentice, I moved into management, creating perfect holidays for customers for a further three years. In 2012, my sights turned skywards, and I pursued my dream of becoming Cabin Crew. After eight weeks of intensive training, I joined Virgin Atlantic and later British Airways, travelling everywhere from Barbados to Bangkok, and from San Francisco to Sydney. You can find pictures of all my adventures in the photo albums on my Facebook page. In 2018, I really missed creating perfect holidays for my customers, so I launched my own travel business as a Personal Holiday Advisor. I am backed by Constant Travel, established in 2005 and part of the Hays Travel Independence Group. Working from my home office in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, I take the time to understand exactly what you want and create your perfect holiday at a time that suits you. There are no queues or distractions — I am independent, impartial, and focused entirely on you. I search and compare all leading tour operators and cruise lines to get you the best deals, and I am ABTA and ATOL protected so you can book with confidence. In 2023, my business celebrated its 5th birthday and I welcomed Olivia to the team. Olivia brings a wealth of travel experience, having previously worked with Jet2holidays and TUI. That year, I was also awarded ‘Best Homeworker – Silver’ at the Jet2holidays VIP Travel Agent Conference in Antalya. In 2024, I was named ‘Home-Based Travel Agent Of The Year’ at the TTG Travel Awards in London and won ‘Top Non-Retail Agent – Gold’ at the Jet2holidays VIP Conference in Paphos. In 2025, I was proud to be named ‘Leisure Agent of the Year (Home or Call Centre Based)’ at the Travel Weekly Agent Achievement Awards and retained ‘Top Non-Retail Agent – Gold’ at the Jet2holidays Non-Retail Summit in Leeds. We also welcomed our second team member, Becca, who has over 19 years’ experience, including roles at TUI, The Co-operative Travel, and Thomas Cook. Been booking with Joe for quite a few years now and the service is the best!
Booked Dubai last year and after a tense few weeks of wondering if we were going or not and waiting for travel updates Emirates finally updated their refund policy. Within an hour of this Joe had called and we had sorted an alternative holiday out. 6 of us are travelling and with just over 3 weeks to go it wasn’t easy but Joe was patient and thorough and we are all super excited now. Keep up the good work. For anyone who hasn’t used Joe and his team, give them a go, you won’t be disappointed

I can’t recommend Joe and his team enough! 1st time booking but definitely not the last
Booked my holiday with Joe for the first time, I had found a holiday but my daughter who has booked many of her trips with Joe said to contact him to see what he could do. Joe got us seats together and a private transfer for the price I had found, which was amazing. Joe responded to my message very quickly even after closing time which I didn’t expect great customer service 2 weeks to go and already planning to use Joe for our next holidays.

Booked a river cruise through Joe over 12 months ago, which is due to depart in the next 6 weeks. Over that time, weve had a few issues and emails from the flight provider that didnt make sense. A quick message to Joe and even on a bank holiday, everything is sorted and peace of mind restored.

6th holiday booked with Joe - thinks that says it all really!
6 of us going so requested 3 separate bookings. Joe explained that if we went ahead and booked using 3 separate bookings he couldn't guarantee the price for booking 2&3 as due to increased interest in the holiday the price would most likely increase for each additional booking.
Joe matched the online price but we also got free pre booked plane seats. We took his advice and made 1 booking. Yet again another smooth and quick process.

I've recently returned from Florida which was booked by Joe & everything that Joe had booked for us was excellent from the flights with Virgin to the private transfers to the hotel it was all fantastic. Joe made sure it all went smoothly I cant thank him enough. We did have a little chink in the road but fair play Joe sorted it for us but it didnt upset us and it didnt spoil anything even though I wasn't going to say a word to Joe until we got home but he messaged me a day or so after we got to Florida to make sure we'd arrived in Florida safe so I told him what had happened and within a few hours he'd made sure we had nothing more to worry about but to get on with our holiday so I will never book another holiday with anyone else but JoeBiggs & his team. JOE you are one in a million thanks for all your hard work. Please book your holiday with Joe & his team you wont be sorry.

Lack of advice
It started off so well. Joe/Olivia found us a great deal at our favourite hotel in Tenerife.
Unfortunately came a last minute appointment for a keyhole operation for my partner, which went well and we we're advised he could fly (verbally) after 5/7 days.
On the 1/4 we enquired about some wheelchair assistance for Ian at the airport so he didn't need to walk long distance and we we're asked to fill in a form. We had been away that weekend and signal wasn't great and then we decided against it which we informed Joe of on the 2/4. Then on the 5/4 we asked if we could still Request it and was told it would be sorted, which it was. At no point we're we advised prior, that Jet2 had a cooling off period after having General anaesthetic, only that our insurance could be void if within 14 days. Oliva rang and spoke to me and i asked her to take it off. I then received a text to say it was sorted and no information had been provided to Jet2. We arrived at the airport on 7/4 to be told by Jet2 that my partner could not board the plane due to him having had anaesthetic 9 days prior and that they required him to be 10 days clear. Jet2 informed me that the travel agent should have informed me of this and should havw allowed me as the customer to deal with it As a result i had to board with my daughter and leave him behind, forking out over £200 for another flight with another provider later that day.
Due to the stress it didn't dawn on me until the Friday that he may not be able to access the flight home, despite it being day 14 at that point, so i enquired with Joe/Olivia of this to be told they would check with Jet2 the next day. At this point we only had just over 24 hours before we we're due to return home. At this point I was blamed, i was met with god knows how many condescending smiley faces, i was told i had left it late to ask the question, i was repeatedly asked when the operation was. Eventually i advised them I would deal with it myself with Jet2. Unfortunately his GP wouldn't provide a fit to fly certificate only confirmation of his operation which in the end Jet2 accepted after escalating it to management as they agreed that the travel agent hadn't dealt with it in the right way.
Won't be using again. The service was great until they had my money.

We’re sorry to hear how stressful this situation was following your partner’s operation just before travel.
However, the version of events outlined in your review does not fully reflect the information and communications we have on record.
For clarity, airlines have strict fitness-to-fly requirements after medical procedures, and any clearance is determined solely by the airline and their medical teams.
In this case, the information provided to us changed multiple times — including the procedure being declared, followed by a request for it to be removed, and further assistance requests made at short notice over a bank holiday weekend. This meant the airline did not have consistent or sufficient notice to assess and provide clearance in advance.
We must also be clear that once medical information is declared, it cannot be removed or withheld. Accurate disclosure is essential for passenger safety and airline compliance, and failing to do so could place the passenger at risk.
We also provided written guidance outlining the airline’s policies, alongside our advice at each stage.
All advice and actions taken were based on the information provided to us.
While we understand this was an upsetting experience, we do not accept that this was due to a lack of advice or service on our part.
We’re pleased your partner was ultimately able to travel home and wish him a quick and smooth recovery ❤️
