This is the worst company we have ever…
This is a company we have had endless headaches with, in terms of setting up our " new faster broadband " telephone system in the office. We had previously been with them and this was an upgrade but had to be a new contract from scratch.
The engineer came fitted the equipment and line, didn't check anything and walked away and the moment he left we lost the telephone line to the business. No one could call in on the business number. We called them up and we were asked to send them photos of the plugs and what had been connected and they still couldn't understand why we had no lines. The responsible engineer was nowhere to be seen . So another engineer came to fix the next day , we were losing business and our call forwarding to our out of hours service for patients would not connect.
After multiple calls / emails we asked to stop the contract as the outreach engineer ( who LA comms had sent ) was also a BT engineer and he sorted it out immediately and got us to a normal service, could do the ultra fast broadband and line at the same cost.
We only used LA comm for this as we thought it would be an easy switch as we were already using them.
We emailed after all had settled in terms of our new service to say we wanted to stop the LA comms service but they said we could not and have continued to send us invoices. I called and spoke to receptionist and she took the wrong telephone details so no one called back , even though our number is part of our account.
Today I have managed to talk in depth to someone to be told that the contract we signed for 5 years has no notice period and so we have 5 years of line service to pay on top of the service we now pay via BT.
So- be careful what you sign and read the small print in detail!

Our Onboarding
We recently made the jump to L.A. Comms for all our IT and Telecoms at Britannia Services, and honestly, it’s been great. From the moment we started, getting everything set up and integrated was just… easy. The whole team was super professional and really knew their stuff.
A massive shout out has to go to Sam Farrell, our engineer. He was absolutely brilliant throughout the entire onboarding process. Sam was always there when we needed him, incredibly knowledgeable, and even seemed to anticipate problems before they popped up.
He truly made what could have been a headache of a transition completely painless.
We're genuinely chuffed with how L.A. Comms handled everything, and we feel totally confident with them looking after our IT and telecoms going forward.

Excellent Service and Expertise
We have recently moved all our IT services to LAComms. The team are extremely dedicated and professional. We had a clear break down of what was going to happen and when. As a company we feel extremely protected now from any potential hacking and cyber crime. It is so reassuring to have such a high level of support on the end of the phone or in person. Sam and the IT support team have been very patience and resolved all our IT problems in a timely and methodical way. Could not recommend LAComms enough - Thank you

LA Comms great from start to finish
Damien has just been to install our new phone system and has made sure we are all up and working and all happy using the systems before he left. He was polite, fun and thorough. Emma in the head office has been fantastic throughout set up and Mark (and Sam) who came out initially to promote their service were again thorough and exactly what we needed
