Very disappointing experience with BPS…
Very disappointing experience with BPS Access Solutions / BPS Depot.
I placed an order for a 7m scaffold tower and leg kit costing £1,019.97 based on the website stating the items were in stock with “Free Next Day Delivery.”
Only after payment was taken in full was I informed the items were actually out of stock. Over the following days I repeatedly had to chase for updates, and delivery dates kept changing with no proper written confirmation provided despite requests.
I was eventually told the delay would now be several more weeks, meaning the order could have taken around a month from purchase despite being advertised as next-day delivery.
This has disrupted planned building work and forced me to source scaffolding elsewhere.
The order has now been cancelled, however at the time of writing I am still waiting for confirmation that the refund has actually been processed.
I completely understand that stock issues can happen, but customers should be clearly informed before payment is taken if items are not genuinely available for immediate dispatch. The lack of communication and customer care regarding an order of this value has been extremely disappointing.

Received scaffolding tower badly damaged still in wrapper asked for a refund as very cheap quality if it can get that bent in transport got told someone would collect last week no one dis and now fails to respond

Contacted BPS regarding a upgrade to my loft ladder. They were extremely helpful and provided the parts I needed. Great service and friendly advice, I would recommend BPS as they are not just interested in the sale, but also in looking after existing customers.

Scaffold tower
Ordering was easy and there were some issues with the delivery but I have to say Carly at customer Service was exceptional and went full steam to address the issue to my total satisfaction.

Placed order on Wednesday for next day delivery but as states on website any order after 3.30 goes into next day so arrival time Friday all good made my self available taking the day off and guess what no delivery !!! Emailed company they replied Sunday evening apologies made this will be a priority delivery Monday morning ok, so here we are day off 2 Monday ready for delivery guess what no ladder !!! Chased it up with company oh we are sorry for this we will see what we can do for you because of the inconvenience caused unfortunately my manager is on holiday at the moment he’s back Friday, eventually the ladders turn up on the Tuesday looking like they had gone 12 rounds with Tyson fury absolutely battered and bent feet missing I then Phoned company apologies made by them we will send another one Tomorrow, next day another lot of ladders arrive these didn’t even get of the van feet missing this time I think a great white had a chew on one particular part of the ladder !! Ok enough is enough I would like a refund please ? oh unfortunately my boss is on holiday still and we can’t authorise this anyway long story short she (Carly ) disappeared of the phone and a minute later the reply was oh what we will do is make a special acception for you just this once !!!! (Absolute tosh )
Refund made next day. Following Monday Surprise surprise another promised phone call to myself that never happened to discuss some kind of compensation…… followed by an email from me no response, to be honest after looking at the ladders the quality and build is quite poor wouldn’t recommend them and backed up by the poor customer service Id steer well clear…..

Absolutely top-class service from BPS Access Solutions. I had an issue that was entirely my own fault, but Trudy and Carly were fantastic in sorting everything out quickly and professionally. They went out of their way to make sure the scaffold tower was delivered on time, with no fuss at all. Great customer service, friendly and efficient from start to finish. A1 company and a pleasure to deal with — highly recommended.
Poor service

Poor service and poor support when things go wrong. I will update this review upon completion whether that is fulfilment or return.

Avoid this company if you value your time and sanity
Ordered a 6 seater corner sofa on a Saturday, had delivery confirmation for the Tuesday after, waited in all day and it didn’t arrive! I phoned up and was lied to and fobbed off throughout and of course they accepted no responsibility for not passing the goods ordered to the courier.
A day later packages from BPS turned up address to me only it was not the set I ordered but an mis match of something completely different and half of the corner sofa I actually ordered! Also no cushion covers!
I emailed them to report the issues and never received a reply!
The cushion covers were miraculously delivered the next day.
I contacted them via live chat to try to get my actual item which would mean staying home for a third day at the expense of my wages and I also asked for compensation due to the numerous and ongoing inconveniences. I was then told the manager is on leave and they can’t authorise anything, then I was told that they were trying to contact a manager. An hour into the chat and nothing had been resolved and I’m stuck with half a sofa I wanted but can’t use and a sofa I never ordered taking up room in my house.
All in all I’ve never experienced such incompetence and the staff do nothing but tell lies and stall for time. I will not use them ever again!

Good Quality, very competitive price, I emailed customer service before purchasing asking which size They thought I would need as I have very high ceilings, they suggested 8 steps but I Decided in the end to go for the 12 steps , should have listened as 8 would have been more than enough, as they are fairly heavy although I presume they need to be as they are very sturdy! However pleased I bought 12 steps as I have extremely high laurel trees to trim and these are perfect! Great fast delivery service, couldn’t be happier, highly recommend

Good service, especially when questions were sent in. Product (loft ladder) is very good and delivery was efficient.
Great pergola and service
Ordered the 4x3m grand pergola and noticed one of the boxes delivered was for a different model. I contacted BPS and they resolved within 24 hours and had the incorrect box swapped for the right one the next day, very impressed. It's a solid product, really happy with it and with the service. The instructions however were drawn by a mad man who hates everything and so if you are not practical then you will struggle to assemble this.

Worst experience I have ever had with purchasing online.
After BPS failed to dispatch the goods I have cancelled the order.
It is 2 weeks since cancellation and still no refund.
Avoid these at all cost.

Utter nonsense. There is no way a delivery company would keep the goods with them for 2 weeks, even if such goods have been collected. You are purely solving your cash flow issues on the back of customers!
I am sure your situation will improve significantly after the credit card issuer will intervene. And today is the deadline.
As expected just empty lies, now follow up, no refund!
Payment dispute raised with credit card issuer! Deal with them now!
