I ordered a custom painting on March 3, 2023 for the amount of £200 under order# 13045 and never received the order. 7 email follow ups but no response. I gave up chasing after that….

Paid for art but never received; seller unresponsive

Same issue as the other complaints on here - Unresponsive seller after purchasing items several months ago. The art was never sent despite several attempts to reach the artist. For anyone who didn't get their orders, if you paid via paypal be sure to submit a refund request via Paypal itself, as I was refunded instantly by Paypal upon launching a complaint. Also please report this account as fraudulent on Instagram so that other heartbroken pet owners do not get defrauded like the rest of us! This artist should be ashamed of herself, as she's preying on the emotional distress of pet owners who have recently lost their pets in order to defraud them.

I’m truly sorry to hear that your experience with me fell short and that it caused additional distress during an already emotional time. I completely understand how important it is for these pieces to arrive with care and on time.

Unfortunately, I’m unable to locate your order based on this username alone, but I want to be clear: I take full accountability for any delays, and I personally approved the PayPal refund as soon as the request was submitted.

As a solo artist, I’ve worked hard over 12 years to build a trusted space for grieving pet owners, and while there have been times I’ve fallen behind particularly during periods of high volume I have always tried to make things right.

I respectfully ask that with a concern, to reach out directly to me at jess@ladybugart.co.uk so I can assist properly.

Do NOT buy from this scam artist.

Two custom orders from 2022 and 2023 that were never received. The artist has the nerve to send out an email campaign today, subtly putting blame on clients for not having received their customs:

--"Ensure you have provided a valid email address"
--"Have you answers my custom questions?"
--"Did you provide the correct shipping address?"
--"Honoring requests not to post custom art on social media"

She's not posting the customs because she's not creating them. No communication from the artist, just took advantage of a grieving struggling client. Others have been scammed as well reading all these reviews. Really sad how she talks about honoring her soul dog's legacy when in reality, her behavior is dishonorable and deceiving.

Kein Kunstwerk erhalten - sehr enttäuschend

War begeistert von der tröstlichen Kunst. Zwei mal Drucke bestellt, die mit viel Verspätung nach Deutschland geliefert wurden. Anfang Juli 2024 einen von zwölf "stargazing star slots" für 120 £ gekauft. Ich hatte mich auf eine besondere Erinnerung an meinen verstorbenen Hund gefreut. Erster Kontakt schleppend aber vielversprechend. Auf meine Nachfragen kamen jedoch keine Antwort mehr. Ich habe den Fall im Dezember 2024 an PayPal Käuferschutz weitergeleitet. Darauf hat Ladybugart reagiert und suggeriert, mein Bild sei fertig. Ich solle unbedingt den Fall schließen. Es wurde sogar eine Trackingnummer mitgeteilt. Ein Paket wurde unter dieser Nummer aber auch eine Woche später nicht aufgegeben. Ich wurde misstrauisch und die Künstlerin zunehmend ungehaltener. Mich überraschte nicht, als sie mir mitteilte, daß sie mein Bild dem Tierschutz spenden wolle. Gleiches hatte ich mittlerweile in einer anderen Rezension gelesen... PayPal hat mir Anfang 2025 mein Geld erstattet - ein Bild wäre mir lieber gewesen.

Same issue as other reviewers

Unfortunately I am having the same experience as other reviewers. After losing my dog I ordered the small already printed book. That was a few weeks ago. No response to email or social media messages asking about shipping. When I left a comment on a post I finally got a message saying she 'doesn't read reviews as they are tarnishing' however they are echoing my experience. She is active on social media and advertising products for sale. If there is a delay to shipping that is ok but say so. I was promiseed it would be shipped the next day which seemed empty as that would have been a weekend. Now nearly a week later and nothing so have resorted again to posting comments. Next step will be a fraud claim to my bank and consumer protection. Taking money from vulnerable people and not communicating or shipping when you say you will is no way to run a business. What a shame.

HATE to have to do this…

I need to start off saying I HATE to have to do this but it must be known to others. I followed her for over a year on Instagram after losing my soul dog & always loved & admired her work. I subscribe to her emails so when I saw she was having a Black Friday sale I decided to purchase her 2 books “pocket full of grief” & “time doesn’t heal everything” on 11/21/24. I am in the US so I figured I’d give her a couple of weeks for the shipping email. I never received it so I emailed her 12/17/24, 12/26/24, 12/31/24 & Instagram messaged 12/29/24 with no response. These are premade books, we aren’t talking a custom painting. It was really frustrating seeing her continuing send out emails & to post on Instagram & stories saying shes going through her emails but never giving me a response. She took my money & just assumed I was going to disappear. I reported my payment to PayPal & luckily got my money back but I still feel like my grief was taken advantage of. I had no idea she was like this but after googling her it seems to be a big problem. I am a very understanding person, if she needed more than 6 weeks to throw something in the mail I would have waited but the no communication was unacceptable especially when you take peoples money. I’m disappointed in you Jess, you of all people shouldn’t be playing with people grieving. You are the one that made this a business & put your products out there to buy, you have a responsibility to follow through with that. Stop deleting peoples comments on Instagram asking where their orders are & hiding the fact that you take peoples money & don’t follow through with the product!

Update: I received an apology email & received the books on 1/17/25 with a couple extras. I ended up returning my refund bc I didn’t want her to lose out on $ even thought it was frustrating. I love the books & am SO happy I got them but I will not be ordering again.

What an artist

What an artist! Ok orders don't come over night but these are custom orders that are done by hand! Well worth the wait. Cannot recommend her enough. Went above and beyond for me on more than one occasion. Highly recommend just be patient, the order always comes and exceeds expectations.

Ruined my Christmas

Placed a $160.00 order on 10/28/24, credit card charged 11/04/24. Got an order confirmation, but no shipment info. Still have not received my pictures - they were supposed to be Christmas presents. I've ordered from Lady Bug Art twice before with no problem other than having to wait for long periods of time to receive my orders but never this long. Have left messages on Facebook posts and sent 4 or 5 emails to both her email address. No replies from any of these. I'm very disappointed with this. Jess is a successful business woman, but if she can't handle the business, she needs to hire some help or stop selling her art. Guess I'll have to file a dispute with my credit card.

Heartbroken + just want my prints

I ordered some prints from the website on 2 May 2024. I initially gave it time because they were shipping from the UK to the US, but as time went on I got worried. I have never received them. I’ve emailed and left comments on Instagram trying to get a response. At the time I ordered my dog was very sick and I knew she’d be passing soon; she’s passed away while I’ve waited. I’m heartbroken and just wanted these sweet reminders that she was watching over me. I’m out 65GBP, and really just want the end I ordered, or a refund if it’s not possible.

If I could it would be zero stars. Ladybugart is a thief, take your money and never send your order.
She doesn’t respond on email, and she delete every post when you try to reach out to her on Instagram or have a block on words regarding orders.
This con-artist and fraud cheated £50 from me.

Despicable

I placed an order and paid in excess of £10 for postage. The email said I'll receive my order in around 5 days.

Emailed her after a week, no response. Emailed again after another week, no response. Emailed again a few days after that and told her I'd be initiating charge back on my debit card.

She finally emailed back to say she'll despatch my prints. By then, I'd read these reviews and it's really marred my whole experience. I believe she takes orders and payments, and then it's pot luck whether your order arrives at all. Preying on grieving pet owners is despicable.

Her prints finally turned up, despite her refunding me. I binned them, as the whole experience has ruined any initial admiration for her art.

I have waited 4 years for my custom…

I have waited 4 years for my custom drawing i placed my order back in dec of 2021 of me and my sweet boy that passed. And I got told i would get it and now when I have talked to her , she said she will.only refund me. I don't want a refund I want my custom drawing. It is such a shame I will probably never receive this piece she promised me.

My heart is so happy, thank you!!

I ordered several prints and they were absolutely worth the wait (I’m in the US). No creases at all and I’m over the moon to have pieces of art that have helped me get through the journeys of anticipatory grief and my soul pup ultimately crossing over to the rainbow bridge. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, I’ll always treasure these🧡

Worth the wait

Delivery was 5 week, longer than anticipated. But the product I ordered and the extra add in's are absolutely beautiful and worth the wait.

No artwork, no communication

Ordered Sept 6. Was told on Sept 8 they'd be shipping out "this week." I got no shipping notice. Sent an email 9/18 asking for an update. No reply. Posted on IG to a post she made on 9/21. She replied via DM saying "could have messaged" and was cranky I posted publicly. Said they'd be shipping "On Monday as they don't go out on a weekend" and I'd get a "dispatch email."

It's 10/3 and have received no communication at all. Just filed a fraud complaint and chargeback request from my credit card.

I expect she will block me on IG so I have screenshots.

After several attempts to contact

After several attempts to contact , by email, by WhatsApp, and on instagram , l have heard nothing. I ordered 2 prints beginning of September, had a confirmation email saying, they would notify me when shipped. As l said, I've tried to find out what's happening with my order, but, have had no response.

So disappointing as her work is beautiful. I hope I've not been taken in.

An update. I did recieve response from Jess following this review. And have now recieved my order. She's obviously just so very very busy. I'm really pleased with my prints.

I see this disgraceful person is still…

I see this disgraceful person is still up to her old tricks, taking money, promising art work and not delivering. My dog died in June 2022. I paid for a piece soon after and it still hasn’t arrived. This piece of trash deserves to be reported. She prays on vulnerable people and takes their money. SHE DESERVES ZERO STARS. Fingers crossed karma catches up with her, absolutely disgusting excuse for a human being

Can't recommend, don't buy!

I ordered and paid a custom art piece in December 2021 and didn't got it till this day. There's barely any communication. The artist decided to write me twice in two years, where she stated my commission is done and she's promising I'll get my painting. Yet it's over two years since she took my money during a time where I was mentally broken due to the loss of my soul dog.
I'm working with all sorts of artists all over the world, I waited several years for my art in the past but never ever was there an artist not communicating with me or behave so toxic. Jess ignores mails, deletes comments regarding missing commissions and blocks people from her social media if they rightfully ask about their long awaited customs!
I know the artist suffered a hard loss herself in 2022 and I was very understanding, sympathizing and caring about her grief and mental state for a long time. Yet it doesn't change the fact that she's taking money from people enduring the same, just to leave them high and dry while she's still offering new custom slots to even more people. Sadly the time frame to fill in a dispute with PayPal is long expired and so I already accepted the fact to have lost my money and never receive the painting I've ordered. It still leaves me sad and confused on how someone can do this to so many people.
