Isn’t for the product
The heat log and night briquettes are fantastic.
I’m well impressed and would recommend to others on the basis of how well the burn
But the reason for 3 stars
the marketing video which I believe are a little Disingenuous.
These perfectly clean, hand able night briquettes
When in reality there absolutely filthy to handle
Open them up from they plastic turn your floor into a black sooty mess
And trying to handle them turn your hands black
You really can only open these up outside and then store them in box that you intend be thrown away afterward
You can’t have them all nicely stacked up like a lot of the marketing video portray unless you are wiping each briquettes with a wet cloth and leaving them dry which kinda defeats the object.

So the reason for the 3 stars rather then 5
Isn’t for the product it’s self
The products are fantastic
The heat log do exactly as stated
And the night briquettes work perfect for long steady burns.
The product them selfs are great
But the problem I have is the marketing of your night briquettes
Every video is of these perfect little brick
Which have clearly been pre cleaned prior to filming
When in reality they near impossible to handle without gloves
They leave your hand thick of black soot/ dust
If you touch your clothes after handling instantly black.
Unpacking them gets black soot everywhere
You really need to unpack these outside and then transfer them back into the box which doesn’t make them convenient to store like many of the videos portray.

Ambitious burn time
After watching the instructional videos I’ve used the brickets on a number of occasions the claim that they last 8 hrs is very ambitious the constant time I’ve managed is 5 hrs with that being 4 hrs of useful heat and an hour of smouldering with low heat output I’ve still to try the high heat logs but my confidence in this company has been dented.

We completely understand your frustration when burn times fall short of what you planned for.
Our 8-hour target is based on keeping an active, glowing bed of embers rather than active flames, allowing the fire to be easily revived in the morning.
Reaching that full duration depends heavily on controlling airflow and chimney draught.
Regarding our high-heat logs, they are pure hardwood designed for intense daytime warmth and bright flames, serving a completely different purpose than the slow-glow night briquettes.

The wood is great - not so the delivery
The wood is great - delivery is bad!
I’ve asked countless times for the wood to be taken to the shed at the side of my house, AND there’s a notice on my front door, but they still leave it by my front door - it rained and by the time I got home it was soaked.
Added to this, I’m not physically able to carry it around to my shed. I’ll have to buy from somewhere else, as I’m fed up with this happening. Such a shame . .

This is certainly not the level of service we expect from our courier partners, and I sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused.
You also have the option to update your preferred safe place directly within the DPD app, or arrange a time when you will be home to accept the parcels. This can also be amended through the link in the SMS message sent by the courier.
Our products are packaged with protective internal wrapping designed to keep them dry, even if the outer box becomes damaged or wet during transit.
This ensures that the condition and performance of the product will not be affected.
