I ordered an expensive padlock from Lockstation on 11th October. I tried today to contact the company to find out if my lock had been despatched.
Instead of speaking to someone and getting an update I was left concerned as to whether this site is genuine??
I phoned three times, waiting, whilst I listened to their repetative jingo tell me how great they are but each time got cut off. I tried to speak to deliveries and also to sales. I never actually got to speak to a human. The website has not been updated since Saturday when I placed my order which says they are preparing my order. How many days does it take a "professional" business to put a padlock into the post?
A professional company should have people to answer the phone and tell me has my order been dispatched yet? This is my first order and I am NOT impressed.
Update: 16th October 10.30am
So my padlock arrived from Lockstation this morning but they sent me the WRONG padlock. I checked the order, just to confirm it was their mistake not mine. So I tried phoning Lockstation but they are continuing to have phone problems because I was cut off as I waited on hold. I called back a second time, this time selecting the sales option and got through.
They have apologised and said they would send out the correct padlock today along with a label so I can send the other one back. Hope this gets resolved in a couple of days but I would not use them again.

Kept me updated when parcel was despatched and gave me all the info and tracking number for the parcel.
The website is easy to navigate and find what I wanted, the ordering and paying process was simple and seamless and I was kept fully informed during the delivery, which was speedy. If I have a query about an order or need more information or advice the staff are knowledgeable and very pleasant.
Ordered products that were available but they weren’t actually in stock. Kept been told it would be another months before they heard from their supplier. Waited months and nothing changed.

Ordered part and collected couple hours later
I ordered a lock that I no longer needed, so I returned it, unused and in perfect condition. The company refused to issue a refund because I had stuck the return label directly onto the box, supposedly making it “unsaleable.” For the record, this wasn’t branded packaging - just a plain white box with no logos, images, or instructions.
It’s hard to believe a company like this one doesn’t have access to spare packaging for something as basic as a lock. This feels less like a genuine policy issue and more like an excuse to withhold refunds. In my view, it’s poor customer service and a bad-faith approach to doing business.
