Booked many times with Value Added Travel and Luxury Holidays.
Recent experience has been appalling. We booked a suite at a hotel in Dubai only to get notification once booked that club lounge is closed and found out normal choice of meals not being served for dinner.

Asked for booking to be cancelled and refund of deposit. Continually told would receive confirmation of cancellation the following day - staff openly lie - still waiting for confirmation.

Told it would be a credit note rather than refund of deposit - I stated no as they were fully aware of current situation in hotel prior to booking.

Now booking our many holidays with another travel agency.

My advice: book with a company that doesn’t continually lie to you and not deliver !!!!!!

I got a call from this company saying that i won some raffles and i know that i didnt filled any thing i was politely rejecting and the lady become very frustrated and reacting very rude then i confirmed it is a scam

Luxury Holidays now claim they could not process a refund as a chargeback had been initiated. What they have omitted is that they fought back on the chargeback claiming I wasn't eligible to have my money returned. The claim progressed to arbitration where MasterCard determined this was nonsense. Had Luxury Holidays reached out and said apologies we are processing a refund for you I could have called the credit card company and stopped the claim. The card company explicitly stated the operator could do this and to let them know should they choose to do so.

I finally got all my money back using chargeback/section75 claims on 17th July - 19 weeks after I requested to cancel. 17 weeks longer than Government legislation says they should have.

Do you really want to book with these people?

I cancelled my holiday to Dubai on 7 March 2026 after being advised by Luxury Holidays that a refund would be processed. It is now 102 days later and I have still not received a penny.

The company continues to claim that the refund is being processed despite the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations requiring refunds to be made within 14 days. I have had to pursue chargebacks and Section 75 claims through my credit card providers simply to try and recover my money.

Luxury Holidays have argued that deposits are non-refundable, despite previously agreeing that a refund would be processed. I have also contacted suppliers within the booking chain directly (Rixos and Arabian Adventures are aware of this). Whilst they have confirmed the booking was cancelled free of charge, they have not confirmed that any money ever reached them in the first place.

Extremely poor communication - I've heard nothing since 20th March, constant delays and no meaningful progress despite more than three months passing since cancellation.

On 20th March they advise refunds will take 12-14 weeks. We're 13 weeks on from then and 14 weeks and 4 days since the date of the original cancellation request.

I would strongly advise anyone considering booking through this company to proceed with caution. I can't emphasise how much undue stress this has caused. They have over £9,000 of my money and are refusing to return it.

Avoid this agent. Still no refund from a cancelled holiday to Dubai 8 weeks on. Travel regulations state 2 weeks maximum. This company should be struck off. Rest assured you will not be getting any further business from me.

Booked a holiday to Thailand with Sol. They were so helpful from start to finish. Very professional as well as giving us local info.

Refused to refund within legal timeframe when our holiday to Dubai was unable to go ahead due to the conflict in the area.

We booked a 9 day Norwegian cruise from Japan travelling Kochi, Jeju and Nagoya with Charles and had a really good experience. He was helpful, easy to talk to, and made the whole process simple. Everything was handled smoothly, and I felt confident in the booking.

Went to Dubai 2 weeks ago and came back last night. Luxury Holidays were very helpful from booking the hotel and even extending my trip through the conflict. The staff know their jobs and very professional. Shikha was so helpful. I would definitely will book with them again.

We had originally booked our holiday in Jan to go in March to Abudhabi,but our flights got cancelled. Thankfully Azim was very helpful and booked to go to Thailand in May as it is a birthday present. We had to more money but it will be worth it as we have not been there.

refusing to provide holiday refund for 5 months - dDbai cancelled and they have been refunded by their supplier - they have lied throughout and are trying to keep our monies for months even through they are sat in their account. Avoid at all costs

Booked a Dubai holiday in January this year and had a fantastic experience, Sol was really helpful and advised on the best hotels to stay at and went out of his way to organise a driver for our trip too. Will definitely be booking our next trip with these guys again. Keep up the great work guys!!

Booked a holiday with Babs to the UAE despite what is going on. The process was quick and easy

Azim & Andi really helped me during the time when I was looking for a package to book holiday in Korea and I forgot to add hotel b&b called up again answered the call real quick spoke with Azim and he got back to me confirming the price and sorted all out without stressing, this is the Service I want when I need support and help well done guys

We booked last year with Sol for a holiday to Dubai due to travel in March when the conflict all kicked off. We were contacted and offered the option to move dates or move destination. Everything was amended promptly and we ended up having an amazing holiday in Maldives. Would definitely use again and recommend.

Excellent service and was really happy with the way my booking was handled. My original holiday to Dubai was affected by the current war going on.
But Sol was quick to respond and assisted me in getting my holiday rebooked for another date.
I have always booked my all my family holidays with them and have never had any issues.

Booked package - impacted by Middle East. They were unhelpful & left us without any accommodation in Thailand and did not honour the rights that are meant to apply with a package holiday. Been a long standing customer over many years - will never use again and simply cannot now recommend them - avoid at all costs.

Terrible holiday provider can see from the many other reviews that they steal people’s money and refuse to provide th holiday they promised they would take care of any issue then if there is issues it’s well pay extra money then they promised transfers for £120 then charge me £150 they took advantage of my brain damage and disability encouraging me to go get currencies for countries that thy knew they were not able to book me to they are either incompetent or liars or both

I would of been better booking the holiday myself they have caused me two weeks of distress leading up to the holiday meaning I’m probably not fit or well enough to fly anyway they promised on Sunday to call or back Monday then it’s Wednesday today meant to be travelling tomorrow and they have screwed up my entire holiday, whole idea of a travel agents is to avoid the stress I would of been better booking myself than with these dishonest crooks

In reply to their copy and paste reply etc … they told mistruths about what the hotel had said I know as I seen the email transcripts etc and also the transfers didn’t turn up or turned up two hours late or wanted more money as holiday company hadn’t provided them accurate times etc or changed of flights etc

They even originally suggest one transfer turn up at 6pm for a 3pm flight so unless it’s a magic time travelling taxi 🚕 etc….

We've been trying to contact them for 5 months to book a hotel, but they're ghosting us. The sales guy, Khan, disconnects the call whenever we reach out. 😡

Don't trust them with your hard-earned money. They're scammers, plain and simple. Spread the word and save others from getting duped! 💔
