Our cleaner is reliable, friendly and does a really good, consistent job of cleaning our house. Using Maid 2 Clean gives us peace of mind for insurance and providing a replacement cleaner if needed, although we have not needed this. I would definitely recommend!

My experience with Maid2Clean Edinburgh has been consistently poor from start to finish. My first cleaner was let go after breaking my belongings, which was frustrating enough. Since then, things have only got worse: a later cleaner simply didn't show up for a scheduled clean, and I was still charged in full for it, no apology, no offer of a makeup visit, just a bill.

In August, I had building work going on and couldn't have anyone in until the 21st. When a cleaner was finally booked, she cancelled on the day and could only offer a slot the following week, which I couldn't accommodate. So for the entire month, I received no cleaning whatsoever.

The final straw was the billing. I cancelled my subscription a week before the next payment was due and was told on the phone I'd only be charged three weeks' rate as a result. Instead, I was charged the full month, on top of everything else, meaning I'm out roughly £60 for a service I never received.

A cleaning service is supposed to make your life easier. This one has done the opposite: broken belongings, no-shows, and billing that doesn't match what you're told on the phone. I've recommended them to several friends in Edinburgh in the past and will now be telling them all to look elsewhere. Switching to a local alternative.

My cleaning lady is absolutely lovely nothing is to much trouble for her and her replacement while she was on holiday was just as good i would recommend Maid to clean to anyone that needs a cleaner
