£700 for a post-build deep clean - small 2 bed flat (yes, what was I thinking?)

First go was so bad - dust all over the place - I had to call them back in. Second attempt, did the bare minimum. Fixed the bits I told them about but clearly didn't bother beyond that as I'm still finding layers of dust.

No after-service call to check. No offer of a partial refund. I repeat, £700 for *that*? They saw me coming alright.

My inexperienced relative got a quote for a one off so- called deep clean of a one bedroom flat of over £300 and nearly £100 a week for a regular clean- this is a space with only 2 rooms, a small kitchen and small bathroom! I thought that was rather steep, particularly the regular clean quote, but he wanted to go ahead with the initial ‘deep’ clean and if it was a thorough clean then that would be ok.

They have done a very bad job indeed. They haven’t even tried to remove mould in tile grouting, there is dust and filth in the kitchen and bathroom, architrave has dirt and food spillage on it, the cooker has only been cleaned in the top and the oven handle and sides haven’t been touched, floor not cleaned properly. The other two rooms were passable but they were easy to do anyway.
He will not be having them for a regular clean at £90 per week to do no better job than he could. They have really ripped him off on a shoddy one off ‘deep clean’ which was more of a wipe than a clean. I will never use them nor recommend them. If Molly Maids want to contact me I will happily share photos and then they should refund half his extortionate fee 😡

Cannot fault the team at Molly Maid Bishops Stortford. Since enquiring about a spring and regular cleaning the communication has been excellent - very helpful and quick to reply. Kaz, Beth and Savannah came to spring clean the property. They were friendly on arrival and I cannot fault the clean; they were thorough, detailed and provided us with areas they will continue to focus on. Cannot wait to start our regular cleaning with the girls!!

We have been using Molly Maid for some considerable time now and the have always been flexible and very responsive.

I would particulary like to mention Jess and Zoe, who on a recent clean were both outstanding.

All the cleaning ladies are warm and professional. I also appreciate the fact that Molly Maid bring all their own cleaning products and equipment. Finally, having someone from the team check in that things are going smoothly - and in my case adjusting the cleaning time so that I don't pay for more time than I need - was impressive.

Started off fine. Then they dropped off doing the job properly. Still charged a lot of money. Things not been cleaned in months. When I complained. Nothing!

So far very pleased with Molly Maid. Organising regular cleaning visits was straightforward and the house looks and smells great after the cleaners visit. They are speedy but thorough. Happy to recommend.

Hayley and Rihanna did a great job and were friendly and professional.

They have only been twice. First time they scraped paintwork off my cooker hood thinking it was burnt on fat ?
So someone had to come in to repaint it
Second time after they had left and without telling me they had managed to displace the roller from the run so door was hanging off Therefore I was unable to get into my shower for several days till it got put right
There cleaning was not brilliant and they are very expensive Work certainly does not warrant high costs

Wonderful morale boosters! Due to recent ill health we now have help from two two wonderful women coming every week to make our house sparkling clean. They are both so willing and cheerful. Nothing is too much trouble and they take initiatives. Changing linen is a huge help also. We find the prices very high and just hope that our lovely ‘maids’ get the benefit. Many thanks.

We had an end of tenancy clean for a 1 bed flat - £230 , didn’t do the fridge, didn’t do the oven, the flat still has bits all over when we came back, i wouldn’t have paid £40 for the standard of clean, would not recommend for end of tenancy clean at all.

Zero stars review. At an employment tribunal. Each branch of Molly Maid's is a franchise not solely owned. Due to direct discrimination based on my age. Tried to give me a cash in hand payslip. The accounts were a mess. Was told to put incorrect information on the accounts regarding clients personal information by the owner. Tried to bully me into cleaning when my experience is finance. Then he put a cleaner into do office work to try it, when my CV has got experience based on finance. My skills, experience and qualifications. The payslip had my wrong title on it blamed another firm about it but wasn't as that payslip was completely different I wasn't going to get paid took a photo of my time sheet. 43 missed calls on the phone in the office at Molly Maid's. Now the branch has reduced hours for all other worker's. Then it was I can't pay so chased my pay at home as I had done in the office as it wasn't in my account. Office Manager tried to give me a so called uniform that was a worn T shirt and a jacket however I was in a suit. But not the trousers. Cleaners were wearing leggings and sports leggings instead of proper Molly Maid's uniform. I wasn't given a contract however he explained information to the younger cleaners but refused to do that with myself. Office Manager she swear in the office and went out for a lot of cigarette breaks. The owner refused to deal with anything incuding the unprofessional behaviour of staff. The so called interview wasn't it was a chat that was inappropriate trying to find out personal information that wasn't on the application form. That I completed on line however there was a second paper application form that was more detailed than the on-line application form. Office manager and owner talked down to me. He claimed not to get stressed regarding transport made assumptions. However office manager was smoking all the time therefore stresses. He wore gloves to deal with the clothes to go into the washing machine.Trail ended.

They arrived on time, worked hard and my mother was very happy with the results.

Have just started to use this company they are friendly professional and cleaners do what you have asked for to a professional standard i highly recommend

The spring clean I requested was done to a very high standard. Everything was done exceptionally well and the house was spotless. Highly recommended.
