Almost at the point of switching…

Almost at the point of switching medical providers due to the lack of patient care and time it takes to order a repeat prescription, no matter how 'urgent' my circumstances are. You used to be so much better, please improve as this is having a huge impact on my work and personal life. I have now been without medication for 2 weeks and after doing everything physically possible to have top up before a works visit, this has still not been considered. Extremely frustrating after spending thousands upon thousands of pounds with you.. still spitting feathers as I type this, your patient care and focus should be PARAMOUNT. I am now unable to live my life because someone couldn't possibly process my order before the 15:30 cut off. More than disappointing and I have to say, quite exhausting. Thanks Montu

Requested a slight change to one of my…

Requested a slight change to one of my products on my repeat prescription, this was sent on 21st May and as such my entire prescription was put on hold (including my other product I did not ask to be changed). It was approved on 22nd May and I had an email to state I’ll be informed once it’s ready to be ordered. It’s now 29th May and still nothing. I’ve been without any medication all week. I’ve even contacted Montu on live chat and been informed that I should be able to order within 24 hours (this was a week ago)
Please stop taking on new patients if you cannot effectively manage your existing patients without being chased.

Great service from Emily at Montu!

Montu's my pharmacy, and all of staff have been excellent, particularly Emily who solved my urgent issue, even though I was the one who caused the delay. She is always upbeat, calm and professional. As a patient dealing with military-related issues, that makes a big difference in helping me understand what's happened and when my medication will be ready.

Even more, I am extremely particular, especially when I'm paying money for something,having worked in customer service all my life,I have high expectations, and Emily and Montu have met and exceeded those expectations.

Well done Emily and the Montu Team!

Don't do it. Stick with your plug.

Every three months you'll be left short of medication because for some reason it takes three days for a business to post a letter to itself. I spoke to someone on Monday because I needed my prescription before I went away. Had an appointment on Thursday morning <9. It's now Saturday morning and I leave Monday.

Montu have unfortunately forgotten that their competition delivers within the hour and is far less hassle.

I'm sadly coming to the conclusion that until there's dispensaries and we don't have to deal on the hoops clinics and their pharmacies have us jump through that medical just isn't worth it. Appreciate your dealer and he'll appreciate you. You're just another punter here.

Allow up to 10 days for processing

24/05/2026 further edit- they went above and beyond to resolve following an issue with prescription and organised special delivery to ensure meds received before bank holiday.

Edit: stars removed as this pharmacy are really struggling, waited over a week, assured for the past 3 days prescription would be available, now it appears to be lost with no resolution, not at all reliable.

When it works it's great, super easy to order and fast delivery. However it seems there are some issues at play as the advertised 2-3 days to process prescriptions has already become 5+days on only my second prescription with no explanation or heads up. Allow more time than you think to re-up on your meds so as to not get caught short.

Royal Mail lost my parcel but the team…

Royal Mail lost my parcel but the team have been so helpful, friendly and informative when trying to get it back. They made me feel at ease and done the most they could to get me my medication. I’m really glad I picked Montu as my service provider.

Beware very slow prescription timelines

Very poor prescription times .. Alternaleaf dispatch on Wednesday - it’s been a week and I’m out of medicine, it seems that the company has missed or lost the prescription. I don’t know if this is a problem from the medical company or Montu the pharmacist.

Again this is very important medication to help control day-to-day activity
