Actually they don't deserve even one star!
20 emails to get the refund on faulty bad quality jumper.
Still didn't get paid. Very sad they are aloud to sell on the uk market and scam people.
This is Chinese company as it was sent return address to China. SAD!

Do not buy from this untrusted company. The website leads you to believe that they sell high quality, classy clothing but in reality the jacket I wanted was much cheaper elsewhere. The prices are over inflated for the poor quality of the product. The customer services are non-existent. I wanted a refund and nobody responded to my emails or phone calls. I was only lucky enough to get the money back from a dispute which my bank raised.

I honestly wish I had read the reviews before ordering from Monvaline.

The shoes I received were extremely poor quality and absolutely not worth what I paid. They looked nothing like the standard I expected from the website.

The website states delivery in around 5 days — mine took THREE WEEKS to arrive. That alone was incredibly frustrating.

Then comes the worst part: I wanted to return them, only to discover I would have to pay over £27 just to send them back. So I’m left with poor-quality shoes, a ridiculously long delivery time and an extortionate return cost.

I contacted customer service hoping they would actually take responsibility and offer a reasonable solution. Instead, I was left extremely disappointed with the response.

I have now asked for at least a 50% refund as a compromise because I shouldn’t have to be seriously out of pocket because of a product and service that have been so disappointing.

🚨 FINAL WARNING: DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. My experience has been poor quality, a delivery that took THREE WEEKS instead of the advertised 5 days, and a £27+ return cost. If you’re thinking about ordering from Monvaline, READ THE REVIEWS FIRST AND THINK VERY CAREFULLY BEFORE HANDING OVER YOUR MONEY. I certainly would not order from them again.

Ordered two overshirts. Both described on the website as soft brushed cotton, but what I received was cheap and contained a label saying 100% polyester.

Had exactly the same experience as many other reviewers. Monvaline refused to cover the return shipping costs, despite the garments not being as described. Instead they offered me increasing levels of discount to keep the items - clearly they knew they were substandard and didn’t want them back.

In the end, I spoke to my credit card company (American Express) who were incredibly helpful, allowed me to dispute the charge on the basis of the items clearly not being as described, and refunded me all of my money directly. Would urge others to do the same via your debit or credit card companies.

I wanted to give no stars because this company is absolutely diabolical. I ordered a dress which had a faulty zipper on it and couldn’t be used and they insisted on me keeping the dress when I asked for a refund and wanted to return it with just a small discount of what I’ve been paid. When I refused to keep the dress and asked for the return details and I return form, they kept emailing me saying they need a confirmation of the condition of the dress and they wouldn’t give me the returns address until it had gone through their acceptance & return policy and assessment. I returned the address to the return address on the parcel that I had received and sent them photo graphic evidence of the postage I pay and the parcel I sent back and I am still trying to get my money back as they are saying, they won’t accept it it as it isn’t the address that they would have given me to return it to because I didn’t wait for their acceptance of this return! This is a scam company With very poor quality clothing do not use them as they rip you off.

SCAM!!! I wish I checked the reviews online before ordering. The quality is TERRIBLE and looks NOTHING like the pictures. Getting a refund is a nightmare- I haven’t received one! £60 for a dress that looks like it’s worth 10p. Absolute garbage. I believe they steal pictures from legitimate websites and scam you out of your money. This company needs closing down

NEVER use this company, it’s a scam! They also have another company called Becket London - also a scam!!

Wish I had read the reviews. In the process of returning. Been a nightmare. They have an obscure 24 hour cancellation policy when the UK International Consumer Centre website states UK customers usually have a 14 day cancellation right even without having to give a reason for online orders. If companies make an exception to this, the onus is on them to make that clear. They don't make that clear at any point during the purchase process, and only have a short reference to it in their FAQ. I've repeatedly questioned Monvaline about their 24 hour cancellation policy, but they have completely ignored this.

In addition, I cancelled well before they began to prepare the order. They could easily have cancelled. They managed to cancel a duplicate order, so it is possible. They ignored me and shipped out the order anyway knowing I'd be lumbered with return costs. Even more concerning: they changed the order history saying 'order ready' the day after I ordered, which was not the case. I'd taken a screenshot as evidence that I cancelled on time when the status was still just 'information received'. Crafty. I've repeatedly asked them who changed the order history and why. Again, constantly ignored.

Don't bother trying to ring their Netherlands number as I did; it doesn't work. No surprise there.

I have no idea how this company is getting away with treating UK customers so appallingly. I'm still in the process of involving UK International Consumer Centre. If I don't sort this, I really hope some hero out there can take this company to task because it's wild that they get away with so much. Unbelievable.

The only reason I have given one star is because I can’t give zero stars.
This is a terrible company I ordered 2 pairs of sandals for £56 and they were so badly made pins sticking out and I’ve never seen anything so cheaply made.
I requested a return they kept offering bigger discounts until we go to 50% but even if free they are no good for use.
Wouldn’t give me return address unless I took full responsibility for the return not just the cost of return but if they went missing in transit!.
I refused to accept and asked my bank for a charge back.
Do not buy from them.

Do not use this company. I ordered a dress - it was so poorly made that through the seam at the back the inside of the fabric showed through - this was a different colour. So in the middle of the back of the navy dress there was a white streak at the seam. The fabric was cheap, shiny with a different colour inside and out. I have been requesting information to return the item (at my own cost) so I can be issued a full refund for 7 weeks and have still not received the information. I have been offered partial refunds only - but the dress is unwearable. The customer service is appalling and the product quality dire.

I can at least say they did process my order cancellation promptly.

DO NOT BUY! They sent me a china product, wrong colour, cheap, threads coming out and SMALL! I asked them for a return and they continued to offer me 20% back and keep the product! When I told them I wish to continue with the return, they did not respond anymore!! Never got back to me! The product was GBP 60 and you can find them on Shein with GBP 3,50!!!! I reported them to my bank and filed a complain against them to costumer rights.

Terrible company after 15 days still no parcel apparently it's still being prepared loads of emails that are full of excuses stay away from this company or be prepared to lose your money

Terrible quality dress, and a total run-around trying to get a refund

I ordered a dress that arrived nowhere near as described — the quality was awful. When I asked to return it, Monvaline's support team spent over a week trying to avoid giving me a straightforward refund.

First they asked for photos. Then, instead of processing a return, they offered me a 20% partial refund to keep the item. When I said no and asked for the return address, they came back with a 35% offer, then piled on return conditions (I'd have to cover shipping to an "international warehouse" and take on all the risk if the parcel was lost or damaged in transit). When I still refused and pushed for the return address, they raised the offer again to 50% — still trying to get me to keep a dress I don't want.

To top it off, one of their replies referred to my order as "shoes," which made it obvious I was being sent template responses rather than anyone actually looking at my case.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, I'm entitled to reject an item that's not as described and get a full refund, with the seller covering the cost and risk of return. Monvaline still hasn't agreed to this as of today, despite several emails back and forth.

If you're thinking about ordering from Monvaline, be aware that their approach to a legitimate quality complaint is to repeatedly offer partial refunds rather than honour a proper return.

Avoid this company - terrible customer service
I ordered two dresses that arrived almost a month later, by which time I no longer needed them. I contacted the company before dispatch to explain that the order was already delayed and that I wanted to cancel it, but my emails were ignored and the items were dispatched anyway.
I have now been trying to return the dresses for over 2 weeks, but the company still has not provided a return address or clear return instructions. The dresses are unopened and in exactly the same condition as received.
I am extremely concerned about losing my money due to their delays and complete lack of communication. This has been an incredibly frustrating experience.
I would strongly advise against ordering from this company.

If I could rate them 0 I would.
The quality of the dress I ordered was awful. It had strange seams and the fabric was thin and rough.
So of course I wanted to return it. You have to email them to organise a return. First they offered me a 20 % refund if I just kept the dress. Seeing as the dress is poor this is a very bad deal. I explained that I wanted a full refund no matter the cost of the shipping. The dress cost me £40 I’m sure the shipping would not cost more than that.
It took me 8 attempts and 38 days to get them to give me the return form. Now I am past the 30 day deadline for returning. Clearly they have done that on purpose so they don’t have to give my money back.
Awful.

Do not touch this company. You think you are buying from a Dutch company. Quality of the product not anywhere neer the quality you would expect. Returns process are ridiculous. You have to send back to China.

Do NOT BUY from these Scammers!!!!!! They will send you terrible cheap products not worth the money they are charging and when you try to return them they will use any excuse not to give you the money back - they are also operating from a false company address in the Netherlands and shipping you cheap products from China

They take several weeks to send your purchase, its made by some random Chinese company, poor quality and sent without tags so you cant return it.

Please do not buy from this online store they are lies and they ship there item from China. I made and ordered and withing two hours I emailed them I do not want the item any longer and I want it to be cancelled. This people kept taking there time to reply to my email and trying to change my mind. After sending severally email to cancel my order. 5 days later after telling to cancel my order and after them agreeing to cancel the order, this stupid people decided to dispatch the item this morning.
