Jo Willan has been absolutely amazing! We had consulted our original advisor (from another company) who we used when we purchased our flat and were really disappointed when he told us that we wouldn't be able of getting a mortgage anywhere near the amount we needed we made an appointmentwith Jo. We knew purchasing a Shared Ownership property would be stressful (we've done it before) but Jo made some of the most stressful situations easier. She really is an asset to Mortgage Matters! Jo was always able to answer all of our questions quickly with loads of advice and was always contactable when needed. Jo has helped us at every turn. Helping us with a very unhelpful Housing Association, leasing with estate agents, Housing Associations and mortgage companies. Jo got us an amazing mortgage deal for more than we thought possible and still within our budget. We have now fully completed and moved into our dream family home and it’s all thanks to her expertise, patience and brilliant Customer Service. We would reccomend Jo to everyone!!

Jo Willans is brilliant
Jo Willans is brilliant. She has remortgaged our home (relatively straight forward), introduced us to a bridge finance broker for a flip property and also managed a long and arduous BTL remortgage. She is always positive, proactive and super helpful. She even complained on our behalf for delays which resulted in compensation from a bank! Have already recommended several times and have no hesitation to recommend to anyone

We first used Dave Vitler 10 years ago to secure our mortgage, and we wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Over the years, Dave has also helped us arrange life insurance and income protection, always making sure we fully understood our options and felt confident in our decisions. We’ve now used him again for the mortgage on our next property, and once again he’s been outstanding.

Buying my first home in the UK proved…
Buying my first home in the UK proved to be quite an adventure. Two failed attempts (sales fell through) and the third one was a charm, even though it took 8 months from offer to exchange. Over one year in total. The only constant throughout these trying times were my broker, Marc Horton, and my solicitor. Marc was incredibly patient with me, and he applied for and renewed a considerable number of mortgages. I honestly don’t remember how many, I think I have chosen to forget. He was very responsive and when he was on leave one of his colleagues would kindly assist me. His advice was spot on and frankly I think it prevented me from going through at least two more failed sales. Other members of staff would call at times or email me, to check in. I met up with several brokers before Marc and I chose to go ahead with him mostly because of the rates, lower than what other brokers offered me, but the service provided exceeded all expectations, I couldn’t have asked for more or better.

I had the pleasure of working with Ronnie as my broker, he made the process feel very smooth and seamless which was very helpful as I am a first time buyer and was unaware of how getting a mortgage works. Ronnie was able to answer all questions I had and explained everything in detail to ensure I was getting the best and most appropriate mortage for me. The communication between mortage matters and myself was 5 star as Ronnie always kept me in the loop via emails so I was aware of what was going on behind the scenes. Would highly recommend!

Going above and beyond!
We had quite a complex requirement for my mortgage with my purchase being a shared ownership property and also wanting a joint application, sole purchaser mortgage and our mortgage advisor, Liam Lee couldn’t have been more helpful. He investigated over 20 mortgages until we found the right one based on all these elements and a ceiling on the monthly payments I wanted to make. He was so helpful and positive and really went above and beyond. I would recommend Liam to anyone.
