MUD Jeans Avis 

Mooie broeken die fijn zitten. Ik heb verschillende broeken gekocht en ze gaan allemaal al een tijdje mee, terwijl ik ze bijna elke dag draag. Erg blij mee!

Fantastisch concept,slechte kwaliteit. Mijn 3e paar scheurt in net boven de kontzak terwijl de maat echt de juiste is. Had ze tegelijkertijd gekocht met het idee lang vooruit te kunnen. Dat bleek net over een jaar te zijn....

Tof idee dat je een broek ook kan leasen. Klantenservice heeft me fijn geholpen bij de vragen die ik had over het leasen.

Super tevreden over mijn laatste MUD jeans aankoop, de Sara! Zit heerlijk en is bij mij goed op lengte. Hiervoor had ik de Jamie en daarom toch weer voor dit duurzame merk gekozen. Voelt gewoon goed!

Kwalitatief goede spijkerbroek, fijne stof en pasvorm. Veel gedragen, geen slijtplekken.

Ik heb een jeans gekocht voor 140 euro. Na 2 maanden van normaal gebruik en 4 was beurten zaten er al gaten in de kniestukken van de jeans.

Waardeloos. Word al 3 weken door een AI chatbot aan het lijntje gehouden. Achter de schermen hebben ze de processen (actuele voorraad, recycling en levering) niet op orde.
Geen idee waar mijn bestelling is en blijft, maar nooit meer een mud jeans voor mij!

The product are certainly of good quality, but the website and the customer service are not good.

I wanted to buy two products, one on sale and the second not but that could benefit from a discount code. It was not possible to get both in the same order because either you get the sale or the discount code but you cannot have in a same order a pant with the discount and one with the sale.
Thus for one of the two order, I had to pay the delivery cost.
Then, it turned, the two products were too big. We could ask for the change for one of the two order, but for the other, the correct size was not available and impossible to select another product. Thus for this second product, I had to send it back and pay for it while I really wanted to get another product from the brand. I contacted them for this by phone, but they told me the only way was to pay for sending back this product, get the money back the finally reorder another one.
At the end, I could have paid 3 delivery costs for one pant.
thus I paid to return the second product and decided not to buy anymore. That is a pity since I really appreciate the produc quality and wanted to wear the Mud products.

Terrible customer service with their AI robot

De twee broeken die ik had besteld bij Mudjeans pasten mij helaas niet zo goed dus had ik ze terug gestuurd. Volgens DPD waren de broeken retour bezorgd maar Mudjeans had het pakketje niet ontvangen. Blijkbaar waren ze in het sorteercentrum kwijt geraakt, dat scheen wel vaker te gebeuren. Voor Mudjeans heel vervelend, maar zij hebben mij wel het geld retour gestort nadat ik heel vriendelijk en snel geholpen ben. Hele klantvriendelijke service van Mudjeans!

Omdat ik het hele concept van Mud Jeans een goed streven vindt heb ik uiteindelijk niet alleen kleding van ze gekocht maar ook aandelen. helaas moest toch al snel het tegendeel bewezen worden. Het begon met het feit dat ik een gratis broek van ze zou krijgen als je een aandelen van ze kocht. Hierna twee artikelen bij ze gekocht, waarvan één lange broek waarvoor in de bon had gebruikt van het aandeel. Helaas had ik na een maand of twee nog niks ontvangen. Uiteindelijk contact gehad met de klantenservice. (Mede omdat ik een vraag kreeg van uit Mud Jeans, hoe mijn nieuw kleding bevalt. Ze hadden het nog niet eens geleverd.) Hieruit bleek dat de broek niet meer geleverd kon worden die ik natuurlijk met de bon had besteld. Vervolgens kon ik de broek niet direct om laten zetten. Ze zouden wel het geld van de broek / waardebon van 129,- euro terug kunnen storten en dat ik dan een nieuwe bestelling plaatste. Had er toen al een onderbuik gevoel over en helaas klopte dat ook. Ik een ander model broek besteld en netjes de 129,- euro afgerekend. En ja hoor, kreeg natuurlijk geen 129,- euro terug, maar een percentage (volgens de klantenservice). Dat kreeg ik uiteindelijk van ze te horen, want de bon voor de broek werd over de gehele bestelling getrokken en dan bleef er 61 euro over die ik terug zou krijgen. Waarna ik zij, dan wordt ik uiteindelijk toch voor 68,- euro genaaid. Waarna ik kreeg te horen van hem (Pascal) dat hij daar niks aan kon doen of veranderen en het gewoon normaal was zo. Sluit mij dan ook volledig aan bij de voorgaande reviews over de belabberde (klanten)service.

Gelukkig heeft Mud Jeans na het schrijven van mijn review, zoals ze in hun antwoord hieronder hadden beloofd. Dit probleem op te pakken en het op te lossen. Dit is dan ook in samenspraak recht getrokken. Ben hier dan wel weer zeer te vrede over en hoop dan ook in de toekomst geen slechte reviews over hun service meer terug te zien.

Very comfortable, BUT I bought MUD jeans after reading their circular promise, but please try to return one of your worn jeans to them, simply not possible or if then really hard I did not get it after many minutes of research on their website (e.g. no address to sent to), just the big slogan.
No-go for me & would never buy again.
Switched the brand of jeans.

Meine Retoure wurde vor etwas mehr als drei Wochen bestätigt. Die Rückzahlung ist noch nicht erfolgt.

Mud Jeans hat schnell reagiert und sich entschuldigt. Die Rückzahlung ist jetzt gekommen.

I leased two jeans because I really liked the concept of sustainability.

At first I was surprised in a positive way. Really fast costumer service replies, even faster shipping.
The jeans I have are the same model, only different color,and the fit differs a lot. I like both, so that was ok. Even though it could be annoying that the W29 is much tighter than the W28.

4 month of wearing and one jeans teared completely open at the knee. I never had a jeans damaged at the knee in my entire life. It was not stressed in any noteworthy way. Just poor quality!

So, I contacted the costumer service.
First of all, the response time isn't that fast anymore when it comes to a claim.
Second, I leased with the condition that they offer free repair for leased jeans. Now they tell me, conditions have changed, we only refund 50% of repairing costs. I would never have leased the products with these new conditions. It is highly questionable to change leasing conditions for existing contracts, even with no information to the costumer.
My conditions, which are now called "outdated" by the costumer service are still findable online! Screenshots are saved.
I'm thinking of a lawyer to check this.
Mud jeans, never again!

Tot mijn spijt moet ik zeggen: de broeken zijn echt van slechte kwaliteit. Veel pluizen. De binnenkant van de zak scheurde na korte tijd open. Na een jaar valt er spontaan een scheur in het kruis. De maatvoering was niet juist: de blauwe broek was véél groter dan de grijze, ondanks dat het dezelfde maat zou zijn.

Kortom: MUD Jeans wil graag een duurzaam bedrijf zijn maar hun broeken zijn het allerminst.

Don't know the last time I had to pay for returning a product.

My year long payments for my (High Jamie) jeans is going to be up this month, and, after a year of (heavy) wear I feel like I can write a well informed feedback on the product:

There are a lot of things i really like about my jeans. For example, the embroidered logo at the back, the subtle looseness. The colour is a little faded now, but nothing I would not expect after multiple wears and washes; the fabric has not thinned out and they probably still have another year - or more - of life in them left.

However, i give them three stars, as after the very first wash my perfectly fitting jeans shrunk in length. The waist, butt, thighs still fit well, but they are very annoyingly about 5 centimetres too short, not full length and not cropped. To me this suggests that the company may not be prewashing the fabrics before cutting them into garments, as fabrics often tend to shrink after first wash. It is a cost cutting technique often employed by fast fashion companies and if I pay 130 euros for an item that boasts longevity and sustainability, I expect it to wear, wash and fit well - and the last aspect, sadly, is amiss.

Ethical and sustainable brand. The jeans I received are well made, high quality. They are really open and transparent about their production process, showing they care about fair wages but also the environment. Also good live chat service when I needed help with sizing. I went for the Dunn jeans and so far they're definitely my favourite because they fit so well and it's a really nice wash.
