Technology Usage and teachings
I believe floor sales associates should receive additional training on using the in-store tablets and the basic functions required to complete customer orders accurately. During my visit, I specifically requested a sofa and even discussed the measurements I needed to ensure it would fit my apartment. Because every piece in the living room collection was priced the same, the sales associate mistakenly ordered a loveseat instead of the sofa I requested. I clearly communicated that I was looking for a sofa, and we discussed the dimensions before the order was placed. Better familiarity with the ordering system could help prevent mistakes like this and improve the customer experience.
Thankfully, after I called the store, the issue was resolved promptly.
All around bad experience with bobs!
Our agreement was delivery the 19th a Friday, which was already a 3 week delay. Then the delivery was rescheduled for a SUNDAY nine days after our agreed date! We missed Sunday service to only have some of the couch delivered and it wasn't the correct peices! I will never spend another dollar with these clowns!
Delivery men drop furniture
My neighbor had a large delivery from Bobs discount furniture today. The delivery truck backed up in front of my home and started pushing out piece after piece of furniture- shoving it off the back of the truck letting it hit the sidewalk then pushing, dragging, rolling it off to the side till the next piece hits the ground repeating the process. No care or concern whatsoever for any of the furniture. Bobs discount furniture take note.
Our sales person Noy was excellent
Our sales person Noy was excellent . We were there to buy a new mattress and when we told her we had had a Bob’s mattress before she was able to get us a credit because it was still under warranty 14 years later. I highly recommend her, the sales manager, Jeff and Bob’s discount furniture. They really stand behind what they sell.
Start to finish terrible experience
The delivery team went to the neighbors house. I got a call to confirm the address, and I did, which is on the mailbox. I went out to the end of my driveway and waved them over. They wheeled the sofa down the road from the neighbors house on a dolly and up the driveway from there. As they brought the sofa in, they knocked a lamp off the wall smashing it. They said they would pay me for it and gave me two numbers to call for the money. Then, they said the couch wouldn't fit in the room we wanted. At this point we just said leave it and we will deal with it. So they left everything on the floor of the entryway. My husband and I managed to get the couch in the room but after putting it together, realized they didn't bring in one of the sitting cushions and one of the back cushions. I called both numbers they left for the money for the lamp and no one answered. Then I called Bob's, who told me I wouldn’t get anywhere with the numbers from the drivers, and they said they could have more cushions delivered. Until then, we are without them. And the reason for all of this in the first place? Because we ordered a sofa that within months bottomed out from springs breaking off and had an unsuccessful "repair" from Bob’s. At which point I requested a refund but was told we could only get a replacement. This entire experience was a nightmare.
*Update* We were told the cushions couldn't be delivered until September.
Horrible quality
I bought a sectional and a full bedroom set and both are awful. I’ve had about two years arms on the couch aren’t holding up big dents in them the bed set is even worse finish is terrible doesn’t hold up at all and drawers in nightstands and the bed have fallen apart I spent 5000 on this furniture my first new furniture and I’m very upset
Unpleasant and in need of Customer service
My experience with Bob’s furniture from the very beginning was awkward, spending a couple of hours waiting for salesman to complete the transaction. Unfortunately, after the credit check, I started getting calls and emails from all these companies trying to sell me a loan. The bed was set up and there were a couple of pieces left over, no explanation, there was no transparency to there process just another sale.
Company does not honor what they promise
I purchased a bedroom set with a trundle bed after being explicitly assured by two separate sales associates that the trundle mattress was included. Relying on these verbal representations, I chose your company over other retailers. However, upon delivery and assembly, the mattress was missing. Despite my efforts to resolve this with the store and customer service, I have been repeatedly told that the mattress is not included and that no remedy is available.
Furthermore, the trundle bed was assembled incorrectly. The support base is uneven and slanted, causing the trundle to roll to one side and making it unusable.
I have found it extremely difficult to reach your staff, and I have encountered long wait times without receiving a resolution. Because my previous furniture was removed at the time of delivery and delivery charges are reportedly non-refundable, returning the set is not a viable option.
Nonsense why go to cheaper quality is…
The only reason I left one star is because of the responses I've received today when I asked about why a recliner that I purchased just 2 months ago for $99 today is $899 after going through many people and different locations I finally got the answer that they told me the one that I bought two months ago is a higher quality and they have lowered the quality so they have lowered the price by $100 I think this is a bunch of BS but they want to stand on this so let's see where this goes I am going to pursue it further

WORST STORE EVER! I do not know what happened to them but stay away. They charged my account twice for the same item. Can't get it taken care of because the people answering the phones have no education. They are thieves. They get nothing right. I have never experienced such horrible service.

Where to even begin
Well, where do I even begin. I have been in sales and customer service for over 30 years and have never seen anything like this before.
My wife and I entered the Appleton, Wisconsin store looking for a rug for the living room in our new house. We didn’t find one but we did find a new dresser we liked. We were in the store for about 35-40 minutes and I had made direct eye contact with several salespeople in that time, yet not a single person approached me. Then once we decided to make a purchase, I had to go hunting for someone to help me. The salespeople were all gathered in the middle of the store. Coffee clutch perhaps? Once I found someone willing to help, she took all my information and made the sale. But then she said she had to be double checked by a manager. What???? Clearly they do not trust their people which sent up a huge red flag. So I went thru the whole process a second time.
After completing the transaction, I was told I would be receiving an emailed receipt. Cool! No problem. What I didn’t know was that, over the next few weeks, I would receive a barrage of texts and emails. I wish I would have counted all of them but by the time I thought to count, I had received 20+ of each. Sometimes up to 5 a day. WAY too many. On top of that I received more than a few actual calls as well.
Fast forward to my product coming in. I received yet another text and email asking me to make an appointment for pickup. Which I did. The pickup window runs from Tuesday thru Saturday. Well, having a job that keeps me busy for 10+ hours a day on those days, I had no choice but to make the appointment for 4:30 on Saturday. Starting Friday, I received texts threatening to return my product if not picked up but the deadline. Now my appointment time was before the deadline. Granted not much, but it was. Clearly not one single person bothered to check this. But to threaten me? Wow!!! Extremely unprofessional. And THAT ladies and gentlemen, is where you lost me.
As a matter of fact, the only part of the process that didn’t piss me off, was the pick up. It went smooth. The person helping was great. And honestly, based off my previous experience, actually surprised me. Which is pretty sad.
So in closing, I will not be recommending Bob’s to anyone nor will I be purchasing anything in the future. I will also exercise my freedom to spread the word about my experience. When you’ve been in this line of work for as long as I have, you realize just how powerful word of mouth is.

Most horrible experience ever never ever will I purchase anything from them took 3 months to finally receive my furniture only for the two Spanish men who didn't speak any English to rip and destroy paint on my apartment wall be careful its a disaster!
Worst Furniture Decision Ever!
My experience with Bob's Discount Furniture has been so frustrating and nothing short of a nightmare.
I purchased a blue sectional couch on April 30, and it was delivered on May 6. Unfortunately, when the delivery team arrived, critical pieces were missing, including the legs, wheels, and a back section of the couch, making assembly impossible from day one.
After contacting customer service, replacement legs were ordered and eventually arrived around May 22. A second service appointment was scheduled for May 26 so the couch could finally be assembled. However, when the crew arrived, they discovered that Bob's had sent the wrong legs. To make matters worse, I was then informed that four wheels for the pullout couch were also missing. Once again, the couch could not be assembled.
The missing parts were reordered, and a third service appointment was scheduled for June 16. Astonishingly, after nearly six weeks of waiting, the crew arrived and still did not have the correct pieces needed to complete the assembly. Three separate service visits, multiple phone calls, and countless hours of my time later, I am still left with an unusable couch.
This experience reflects serious quality control and communication failures. At every stage, information seemed to be lost or communicated incorrectly between departments. Something as basic as identifying and ordering the correct replacement parts should not require three service appointments and more than a month of delays.
As an attorney, accuracy and attention to detail are essential in my profession. If I communicated with my clients as poorly as the Bob's teams involved in this process, I would not have a job for very long. This level of disorganization I have experienced has been unacceptable.
What should have been an exciting furniture purchase has turned into a prolonged headache and a source of constant frustration. I regret purchasing this couch and have completely lost confidence in Bob's Discount Furniture. Based on my experience, I will not be returning as a customer, nor would I recommend Bob's to friends or family.
A customer should not have to wait over six weeks and endure three failed service visits just to receive a fully assembled couch.

Every difficult to do a clam that something is damaged. I received my furniture damaged no refunds I also bought insurance and they said no not there problem. I told with a insurance manger and said nothing can be done.
