Delivery service so bad

I went into bobs and picked out a sofa set, a recliner chair, and a large rug on Monday. Now you at bobs store, they have an area that’s called the pit. That’s from a different company. So, I set up delivery For Wednesday. That’s for the recliner chair and rug. The sofa you have to go online yourself to set up delivery. Now it’s still Monday. I get home go online to set up the delivery for the sofa set and rug to be delivered on Wednesday also. Granted Wednesday was available. So my time was 1pm-3pm. Ok paid the $350.00 to deliver and take old couch away. Tuesday come the delivery person call and said they have to reschedule my delivery to Friday. The delivery person said his boss sent an email to the team that they won’t deliver on Wednesday and Thursday. I’m like that not my problem. The website had availability and time slots to pick what day and time. So this is an inconvenient hassle that they deliver when they ready. So now my day got changed to Friday between 1pm-3pm. That’s the time they said the would arrive. Ok fine. Now I change my whole plans just to be on their time. Later that afternoon I get a call they changed it to 3pm-5pm. It’s 4:40 and still no delivery. I call the number 4 times and no answer. On my son phone they picked up. The guy said the hrs in traffic coming from New York. Now I’m upset. That’s why it’s a window. Meaning you have a whole 3 hours to get to me. Can’t talk to any manager or supervisor. So I called bobs furniture store. The guy said that’s another company I have to reach out to them. Now I’m thinking bob’s contract that delivery company that they would’ve step in to help me more better since I can’t get support from the 3rd party. This was a major disappointment. Not I had to call someone to take my son to his event all because of the delivery company bob’s contracted that’s crappy. I would never do that again. Bobs do better in supporting your customer with help. Now I don’t get an apology or a accommodation. Just things happen.

Poor quality furniture and extended warranty

Poor quality furniture and extended warranty. I purchased a reclining sofa and recliner 2 years ago and it is already wearing out on the headrest of the sofa. Sofa worn out in 2 years?? I purchased a 5-year warranty from Bob's Discount Furniture through the warranty company Guardian Protection. They claim that wear and tear and worn-out leather is not covered under warranty. Then what is the extended warranty for? Very disappointed with Bob's Discount Furniture and will never purchase from them or recommend them.

Bad experience

Sales person signed me up for a credit card without my knowledge or consent and ordered the wrong furniture configuration. I wouldn’t choose this location for Bob’s Discount Furniture purchases. Everything else was fine with corporate customer service and delivery.

Horrible

Unfortunately, my 1 experience with Bobs was not good. May 1 I purchased three kitchen chairs after no communication about my delivery. I look on the app and seen it would not be available until November 1 so canceled and was told my refund would be deposited into my account within seven days after no deposit, I reached out to customer service and was told something happened to my refund and it would be additional five days. still nothing so, I spoke with a Supervisor who was supposed to send the information to escalations never heard anything. after several attempts and even email them , still no positive outcome. I eventually filed a dispute with my bank and had them full investigation done and receive my full refund.

Damaged furniture and poor customer service

I recently ordered a new sectional and had it delivered. The couch was torn in a section and 4 of the plastic legs were broken. The delivery men were very kind and put in a work order. I had 3 of the legs replaced, one is still broken. They had a service guy come out to sew the torn corner. He was a nice guy but his work was subpar. I tried calling many times about a possible discount because my furniture was not brand new and I paid a brand new price. When I got through to someone, the man on the phone was very rude to me. I was trying to discuss a discount since the furniture was not brand new. I spent $2,500 on the couch and the man offered me $150. I suggested he do better because of the amount I paid for it, he hung up on me. I called back and received the same treatment from a woman. After purchasing furniture from Bob's for almost 9 years and furnishing 2 current homes with them, this will be my last purchase. Never again. Bob's was always great, customer service was always top quality but no more. Do better. Bobs, do better.

I had a great experience

I had a great experience! Staff was friendly and I worked with Maddie. She was helpful and did not hover, which is important to me. Grabbed some great pieces for my new apartment. I would choose the Seabrook store again and send friends there too!

Poor customer service but they kept our $!…

My son bought a bookcase from Bob's online. They are not available at our local store. Bob's delivery was not offered for this item. The last email my son received was he would get an email when the bookcase shipped. After 3 weeks passed with no message , he investigated himself and found FedEx said they delivered it. The picture attached to the FedEx delivery was not our door or apartment building. We called Bob's they said it's a FedEx problem and they couldn't help. After days of trying to track down FedEx, they said it's a problem with the vendor & Bob's needed to address it. We called Bob's again. They would not investigate by calling the vendor and said they could not let us know who the vendor was when we said we would ask the vendor. Bob's has my son's money and did nothing to help track down the furniture. I gave a 1 star review on Yelp and Bob's reached out asking for our phone number. I replied back, they still haven't called.
We just moved here and are buying s place. We won't be using Bob's or recommending it to anyone.

Excellent customer service from delivery guys

I recently returned to Bob’s Discount Furniture and made an excellent decision by replacing my couch with a dining table. The delivery team, Will and Almando , demonstrated exceptional professionalism and kindness throughout the process. They efficiently unboxed the order, addressed any issues, and assembled the table in no time. Their polite demeanor and excellent customer service truly stood out. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Purchased a couch from Bobs at the…

Purchased a couch from Bobs at the Joliet Store. waited a week for delivery and driver stated i didnt pay for old furniture removal (when i did). I called customer service and was told same thing? i asked if they could take the old one away and i would pay for it and he said no?

in customer service, the job is to help the customer and was disappointed in his attitude. So i refused the order snd they left.

i also called the Joliet store and the Manager did not answer phone or a call back either and i left my number.

Ashley furniture received my business at a better price. Sorry Bob, you need to do better.

My wife and I love Bobs

My wife and I love Bobs. They’ve furnished our entire house. I hope they see this review. Our final purchase. A very expensive sofa set. One was defective. We were assured. It would be taken care of. On the third attempt. The first delivery window came and went. I wasn’t informed another window had been assigned. I found this out through their AI assistant. That window came and went. The AI didn’t help me with this one. So after 45 mins with customer service. I find out there was an internal issue with my delivery. They were trying to get it to me. 7 hours later. Still waiting. My time is valuable. Unacceptable from the dispatch. Very frustrating disappointing. Bobs you have paying waiting customers. I believe we should be kept in the loop. Your AI is no help with a real world issue. Communication is important.

Bought a sofa last May

Bought a sofa last May. Opened my house for the summer and have a sofa issue that was not resolved when we bought the sectional. They replaced the sleeper portion 2 weeks after we bought it on the 15th of May. The hideabed does not come up the the level of thebsofa cushions when closed so the cushions sink in. The bed is either missing a part or just a real bad design as it is off ove 2 inches in th3 front. But when contacted they said sorry your out of warranty and it will be ar your expense. You had to replace it 2 weeks after I got it and its literally 2 weeks out of warranty. Did acknowledge they will let them know do future sleepers are correctly installed. All I can say is so much for customers who bought the cottage 150" SOFA SLEEPER SECTIONAL

We had the worst experience ever

We had the worst experience ever. We ordered a wardrobe which was delivered damaged. We had it sent back and it arrived damaged again. The third time, we picked a different wardrobe as we had our doubts about the quality of the 1st one as it arrived twice damaged already. Shockingly, the 3rd time delivery also arrived damaged. It was quite a hassle for us to always send it back, connect to customer service and arrange for return every single time. At last, we ended up cancelling the order and asked for a refund. We just hope we get our money back and will never be going back again.

I recently visited Bobs Furniture Store…

I recently visited Bobs Furniture Store and had a great experience. The atmosphere was welcoming, and I was immediately greeted by Gilbert, who was incredibly helpful. I ordered a bed for a family member. Gilbert directed me towards exactly what I wanted, I highly recommend them and will be purchasing again from them. It was better than I expected and definitely worth it.

Rude pick up experience

Customer service in finding our furniture was great (Sandra is awesome) but we were told they would wrap the furniture and put it in the truck for us when we picked up, "my guys will load it for you just pull up in the back" however when we arrived the pick-up employee was very rude and loudly complained about us, saying we were supposed to move and load the furniture by ourselves, we apologized and explained about being told they would load it and he just started complaining about Sandra and the other employees there. He then did not help us load it into the truck and seemed extremely annoyed. The whole pick up interaction ruined the positive experience we had originally when buying the furniture.
