My Cheap Laptop Avis 

This has been one of the worst online shopping experiences I have ever had.

I purchased a laptop from this seller, and after only three months it developed a fault. When I contacted the seller, I was told to return the laptop under warranty so that it could be repaired or replaced. Trusting that they would honour their warranty obligations, I sent the laptop back as instructed.

The seller received the laptop but never returned it. Since receiving my device, they have completely ignored all of my emails, messages, and attempts to contact them. There has been no repair, no replacement, no refund, and no explanation.

I am now left without the laptop I paid for and without my money. In effect, I have lost both the device and the purchase price because of this seller's failure to honour their warranty and communicate with a customer.

A warranty is meaningless if a seller takes possession of a customer's property and then disappears without responding. The complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and customer service is shocking.

I would strongly advise anyone considering buying from this seller to think very carefully. Based on my experience, if you encounter a problem with your purchase, you may find yourself in the same position: without your device, without your money, and without any response from the seller.

I cannot recommend this seller under any circumstances.

WARNING: This company appears to have abandoned operations. Their websites are all down, their corporate filings are overdue (2nd May), and their phones reject calls during business hours, stating their opening hours and that they are closed, even though calling during opening hours). If you bought an extended warranty and your laptop breaks, do not waste time chasing them. Contact your bank immediately to file a Chargeback or Section 75 claim for breach of contract.ps I have now confirmed with GIBSON WHITTER SECRETARIES LIMITED listed as a company officer for them, that they have in fact gone insolvent, I also confirmed with Insolvency services that a petition has been filed.

Same experience with the company,I bought my PC in June 2025 with additional warranty for 2 years but unfortunately the machine cannot even start . I emailed them and it bounced back so I decided to drive to their office in Portsmouth and found that the company has definitely closed down. I asked next door bussiness and they too confirmed it has closed down. From my experience I dont recommend at products from My cheap Laptop . The cost of the PC and warranty exceeds £400 which is alot tbh.

They rip us off then close down. so unfair . If we can all emerge our cases and receipts we can get this to the police. We indeed need a reimbursement or fix our machines for free. Lets collaborate and raise this to the police .Thank you.

Same experience as another user. No answering emails or phone calls. They tried to repair my laptop and said it was fixed but it was not and still having issues with it. Would not recommend at all.

I recently bought a laptop from this company, and it worked just fine for a while, but then developed a fault which meant that it wouldn't power on. I arranged a return with them and posted it off as they requested. It is now a couple of weeks since it was sent back to them, and I have heard nothing, and now their email address is unreachable and so is their phone number. Fortunately the laptop wasn't 'mission critical', but even so, I'm £200 out of pocket and have no laptop to show for it. So I can't really recommend this company, assuming it's still trading, (the website is still up), and the only advice I can give is Caveat Emptor! Lesson learned - use reputable dealers.

BUYER BEWARE!

I purchased a laptop only a few weeks ago, and paid for an additional 4 years warranty. There is a fault with my laptop. I emailed the company to let them know and my email has bounced back as email address does not exist. I found their email to me and replied to it. Same thing happened, so i tried calling them. It goes straight through to automated message to say office is closed and call back during specific times, which I am calling in. Depserate to locate them, i clicked on the instagram page. it has gone. I think this company has closed, yet they still took money for a warentee they cannot fulfil, only a metter of weeks ago. Now I am left with a laptop that does not function properly, and certainly does not do what they stated it would, a warentee that isnt worth anything, extra warentee too. I am fuming.

So easy to get hold of, spoke to an actual person (Joe) who was kind and helpful. Got me sorted out straight away even though my query came months after purchase and I couldn't remember my order number!
Will be back again for future purchases.

I have dealt with these people for 10+ years and would never go to anywhere else. The service, advice and products are the best in my experience and I have worked with computers since I was 40 and now I'm 80. I would also say they have the nicest staff.

Think this is the fifth time I've bought a laptop off them. For the first time there was a problem with the laptop I received - not what you want but it gave me a chance to see how they dealt with it and they were superb. Answered the call quickly, got me straight through to a helpful technician who solved the problem. Really good company and they'll definitely be my first choice whenever I need another one.

Easy to browse, found exactly what we needed within our budget

This company has provided a number of refurbished laptops for our charity and it is such a help to be able to afford high spec laptops at reasonable prices. The after sales support is excellent too.

Quality products and a fair price - great customer service - we had a problem when the computer wouldnt turn on properly after a few months of non - use, so we called the team and actually SPOKE to someone who talked us through saying its was as it was off for so long we needed to simply do something which he helped us do . great support guys !

I bought a gaming laptop to do CAD drawings quite a few years ago. I am still using it. It is now 12 years old from the date of manufacture. Great value at the time of purchase.

Bought two Dell laptops during Covid for the girls who needed them for online classes. Staff are very helpful and polite. When received laptops there was no camera. Contacted the team they replaced them. No fuss. I will happily doing business again with them.

When my laptop had a problem they immediately told me to send it back (unfortunately at my own cost) and I got it back within no time. I did have to change the fan later on but still, at the time it was great service.

I bought a reconditioned surface pro for my daughter for college with the Microsoft Pro package. Delivery was fast, product as good as new and performs very well. More than covered what she needed for college work.
