I have used One Day tests , the Hove branch, for occasional blood tests in the past. I always had a great experience, fast results, excellent customer service.
However, their support in relation to prescribing Weight Loss injections is outstanding. Everyone,from the pharmacist ,to the Gp, the phlebotomist were very holistic and person centred in their approach. They responded to all my questions, considered all my future concerns. They helped me on my weight loss journey so much that I did not experience any side effects. Fatigue was the only problem I have met, but this is due largely to not eating enough food. They supported me on how to overcome this, which is of course eating more protein, more small meals. The benefits i did not expect were more confidence in myself, huge improvements in fibromyalgia pain , better skin! I was of course eager to lose weight fast at the beginning- however now I want to lose weight slowly and improve my energy levels by eating more. Oh, and one more benefit- I drink a lot less alcohol. I can still have one drink if I want to, but I never feel the need for more. I honestly believe this medicines are revolutionalizing healthcare, and One Day Tests are amazing at supporting people on this journey!

The whole team is professional, friendly, and welcoming, but I would especially like to thank Dominika. She is an outstanding nurse who is warm, caring, and highly professional. She always takes the time to explain everything clearly, answers all of my questions, and makes me feel comfortable throughout the appointment.

I received my results on the very same day, and they were presented in a clear and easy-to-understand format.

The actual medical experience, i.e. the test procedure, the blood draw, the test report, and the doctor consultation were all five stars.

The only negative I experienced was the online booking app which was tricky to use and required multiple efforts.

My only issue is the parking - the road is all residents only. We managed to get the one disabled bay (much needed) but it would have been a nightmare otherwise

I recently had a private blood test and couldn’t be happier with the service. Monique was absolutely amazing from start to finish. I’m not great with needles and have a history of passing out during blood tests, but she immediately put me at ease with her calm, reassuring manner.

The whole process was quick and professional—I genuinely didn’t even feel the needle go in, and it was over within seconds. Dominika made what is usually a stressful experience completely comfortable.

I would highly recommend this service to anyone, especially if you’re nervous about blood tests. I’ll definitely be using them again in the future.

Very quick and easy, went in for an appointment and had the results the same day. The phlebotomist was very friendly and efficient. Not cheap, but if you don't want to wait around to get a test done on the NHS (which your GP may refuse to order anyway), then it's a great alternative.

I was really nervous as I find it difficult to have injections, often needing more than one attempt to get a successful blood sample. The phlebotomist, Sophie was very kind and patient with me. She explained the options clearly and made it easy for me to relax enough to get the samples needed. Would def go back. 10/10

I accompanied someone for a blood test and on a whim I decided to have the 71 marker screening done. I had missed out on my ‘turning 60’ NHS checkup due to Covid and so now, at 65, I am getting niggles and aches which are starting to worry me. The results were back in hours. Of the 9 areas tested, 5 show that I have issues which need to be monitored or action taken. I am concerned that there are statistics which need to be addressed but at least I have a starting point in order to make significant and timely lifestyle changes.
