I was unexpectedly charged by OptinMonster following an automatic plan upgrade, a move that directly contradicts their "You will not be charged" assurance provided at the free trial signup. This unexpected billing, despite the explicit promise made during the credit card information submission, has raised serious concerns about their transparency and billing practices.

I was billed for something I was not…
UPDATE:
A proof that they don't care is in their reply. Just an ordinary generic template, pointing out 14-days and other providers. Yes, I know I missed it, I wrote it in the review. Did you at least read it?
That's why I wrote support, saying that I won't be using it. And since there is no additional cost to you, it would be fair to return either full amount or a part of it. If I won't be using your product it won't cost anything to you. It's not like you made a physical product, and now, since I don't want it, you suffered an expense.
Just pure greed.
Avoid this product at all costs. Just Google their competitors, I'm sure they will have the same features and probably cost less.

I was billed for something I was not using and did not intend to use. I wrote to support explaining that I will not be using the product this coming 12 months and asked for a refund. They could only reply that I missed the 14-day deadline to ask for a refund.
That's fine, but I'm not gonna use the product, so they won't have any additional costs. They couldn't even offer a partial refund and show that they care at least a bit.
Don't use their service, scam. Only care about money, nothing else. And I see from other reviews it's not the first time they like to bill people.
Disgusting behavior.

Our system sends reminder emails before your account is due to be charged. It's possible that the communication got filtered by your email client.

Optinmonster is aggressive
Optinmonster is aggressive. They have increased the cost of my subscription significantly each year. They are constantly suspending my service for reaching "limits" and forcing me to purchase additional upgrades. They have automatically charged my credit card without notice. They are scammy company. I do not recommend them.
