Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. I use Optin for several client sites and have never had a problem. Recently, I opened a new account for one of my personal sites, but realized it would not be a good fit. I emailed in within the 14 day cancellation period, and realized after 30 days that the email never went through or was to the wrong place (potentially my fault, I understand). I emailed explaining and also asking them to check my account because you can clearly see there was never any activity. They REFUSE to do anything about it after multiple emails and are keeping me locked in for a whole year. Unless a cancellation/refund comes through, I will be transitioning all of my 7 other clients off of OptinMonster. I don't do business with companies that refuse to do the right thing anymore. It doesn't make sense. If their customer service simply recognized the account I am trying to cancel was never used anyway, it's not a real loss for them. Now they're losing 7 accounts instead of one inactive account. Maybe they'll change their customer service policies in the future, more likely they won't.

Our support records show your cancellation request was received on August 15, 2023. Regardless of usage, the request was received outside of that refund window, so we cannot offer a refund.
I know that's different from the resolution you're hoping for, and I will share your feedback with the team.

I had a question for OptinMonster
I had a question for OptinMonster, and submitted a support ticket, but within a minute I found the solution I was looking for and it worked. I went to my inbox to send a reply to the ticket to say I no longer needed assistance and there was already a Loom video personalized to my question, showing my screenshot, and the person in the video saying it looks like I was able to fix the problem. Incredible speed with a personal touch!

Shady renewals - be careful...
I'd love to give it more stars because it works. The pop-up intent works well, maybe too aggressive at times, but it does have different settings.
The most annoying thing to me is how they charge almost double when it comes to renewal 12 months later. And then their excuse is we make it clear the renewal will be $xxx at the bottom of the page. They do, but it's in size font four or something. It's tiny. I had to scroll up and down a few times before eventually finding it...
That, to me, is wrong. They don't warn you that you have a subscription renewal and double the original cost.
That is such shady business practice.
Eventually, after much moaning, they gave me a 20% refund on the renewal. So make sure you push for that if you face the same scenario...

Best and easiest form builder
I've been using OptInMonster for several years and they have the best customer of any company I've dealt with online. Very responsive and quick responses must be in their mission statement.
By the way, the product is the best and easiest form builder I have ever used.

I switched from SleekNote platform to…
I switched from SleekNote platform to OptinMonster last week for my client's pop up campaign. I am thrilled with the capabilities of OptinMonster. I worked with the VIP option of OptinMonster and created my first campaign. I can report it is a success, the support team is excellent, knowledgable, easy to work with. User friendly and easy to use
Optin Monster is the perfect platform to create an email list. Everything is very user friendly and easy to use. Support is also very great as they helped set my first popup for free.
