Essentially an unnecessary money making scheme as once a pet’s microchip is listed on here you basically cannot get it removed thus blocking freedom of choice to register your pet on a free to use service. This apart all the so called paid benefits are available to use via other methods for no cost so hence why only fools should use this website. Yes I did try via email to get information removed but after two unsuccessful attempts the microchip was still listed so like any sane person I gave up so your claims of helpful and effective IT support are false.

Have recently rehomed a cat and needed to register its microchip in my name. Somehow managed to get in a complete muddle, and it fell to Petdatabase to sort me out. Have now registered with them, they were so helpful and patient especially Holly Thompson who had the unenviable job of seeing me through it. I've already paid once, yet I'm expected to pay again just to change my address. I wasn't informed of this from the vet's at the time of him being microchipped, nor was I offered a alternative.

Great help today from Holly, who changed my pet’s name in the database as when I registered I wasn’t exactly sure what I would be calling her but I importantly knew needed to register straight away in case anything happened to her while I was thinking of her name change.

Had a issue with registration as purchased through carers card and glitch when signing up but emailed pet database and Aman came straight back and sorted for me. Great service. 👍

I emailed the company to update the details and Holly responded immediately. She was polite and extremely efficient. As a charity, it is very important that the microchip company works with us to ensure total trust and this is the case.
