I bought some football boots and I'm feeling really satisfied! The people working there were really nice and helpful and it's a great shop!
Cancelled my order
I ordered some all black bucket hats for an all blacks game. i added a cheap flag since i was getting the hats. Rebel store then sent me email saying they cancelled bucket hats as they werent in store and i ended up paying more in freight than the flag cost as they sent that. i was pretty annoyed

Between Christmas and New Tears I ordered 4 All Blacks shirts of 2 styles for my godchildren
I received 3 without being informed it was a split order
I’m still waiting for the last 1
The initial response by phone was ok … the follow up s nightmare for 3 weeks dealing with what I will politely say as someone unprofessional and out her depth
For the past couple weeks I have been dealing with another professional person with no results
Now the courier company Aramex who I personally avoid at all costs and Rebel are trying to work out a click and collect for The Atrium
I was told last weekend 2-3 days
I’m still waiting
I’ve only received a refund for postage …& until I receive the final item they’ll decide compensation … they’re assuming I’ll shop with them
I will never shop at rebel again
And until I get the item I paid for in good faith I’ll keep posting here

Buyer beware
Buyer beware: they use Aramex as their courier service for online purchases so be prepared to wait a long (LONG) time for your order to arrive. I've only been waiting a week, but when the courier's turnaround time is "overnight within same island" and most reviews for the courier make the same complaint or just never receive their orders...
Spend almost $1000 online saying stock…
Spend almost $1000 online saying stock is available at my chosen store and can collect next day before 6pm. The day came no email or anything. I thought maybe they'll email the next day but still nothing. So I called only to be told that some items are getting shipped from another store. Maybe if you guys had gotten my order ready when I ordered maybe you'll find the stock. My kids will have to wait next Christmas for their presents now. Thank you Rebel sports Manukau. Very disappointed
Click & collect? DON'T!
Ordered 5 items last weekend for kids for Christmas. 4 days passed & no notification so went into the store. 2 items there. 2 I apparently picked up already!?! (I didn't). & one has not left yet Silverdale & might or might not be here on Xmas eve (but no guarantee). So kids presents potentially ruined & they still have my $$$$$. I could have just gone to a store & chosen from what was there. Worst ever do not do.

Worst customer service experience ever , every time i spoke i could her a lady laughing at me. So unprofessional! They failed to call me back as well as they said they would.
Update, I have added 1 star as when i called back the lady was much better.
Hopeless - computer system not accurate & they use NZ's most useless "courier" company
Looked online; said they had stock @ my local Auckland store - went there; no stock. Clerk looked on their (hopeless) computer system - stock in another Auckland branch. Ordered online - they used Aramex (also complete muppets) to ship it from CHRISTCHURCH and it took TWO WEEKS - just hopeless.
I went to buy a pair of cycle padded shorts
I went to buy a pair of cycle padded shorts & before I paid I asked the service person if I could return them if I don't like or change my mind & was told yes no problem within 30 days. So I paid for them & then went home to try them out & after ten minutes I decided they were way too hot for me, so decided to return them next time in Nelson. So today four days later went to the shop to return them only to be told SORRY you can't return them as you have worn them & I said how can I find out what they are like if I don't try them. Even when I said I had worn them over my shorts & only for ten minutes, the manager refused to refund me. I will never shop with them again.
Nonsensical delivery experience
Just be aware that they might take 6 days to prepare your item for delivery, and then send it from Timaru to arrive into Auckland....when... ? This is despite stock being available in several Auckland shops. Complete and utter fail Rebel Sport!

Terrible warranty and customer service on a product bought 1 month before
Ordered a new Polar heart rate monitor online. item arrived, used it 3 times and unit started misreporting and dropping out. Tried disconnecting and reconnecting, tried new battery, tried cleaning all contacts. Nothing worked. Tried my old heart rate strap and monitor with the same watch and no issue.
Contacted rebel sport online through their "contact us about this order" tab on the web page of the order and was ignored.
Won't ever shop with them again.
Dishonest company
I ordered a pair of Nike shoes from 22 December 2022. They got a good discount due to Xmas sales. However, today they cancelled my order. How could I buy an alternative pair for me because now all the sales for Xmas and New Year have gone??? This company does not think about the situation of the customers and only think about themselves. I will never buy anything from this company again.
Avoid Click and Collect with Rebel
Click and collect is a joke. Five days for an Auckland delivery even when shoes were in stock when ordered. I had a similar experience 4 years ago with these guys at a different store. Retail staff are good, but the company has a hopeless process for fulfilling orders and ensuring timely availability. The standard service response is we will get back to you in 5 working days.
