Really simple to book a skip online and a good price. Received confirmation via email and text of my order. Courtesy call on the day of arrival to check all was good to go and check how I wanted it placed. Was collected on the desired date with no problems followed by a friendly text to see that all was to our satisfaction. While there were no issues, if there had been I feel that they would have been dealt with through their good communication and customer service skills. Will definitely use again in the future if needed!

Very efficient

Excellent all around, have used them 3 times now. The drivers are lovely and take care placing the skip where it's needed safely, customer services have been really helpful dealing with my questions and checking that things have gone smoothly. Would highly recommend. Price is cheaper than others I've found and have quick turnaround on availability.

First time using this company for a skip. Arrived on the day requested and was collected on the day requested. No issues and I was kept informed throughout with a confirmation text to say my skip would be collected.

Be cautious using Reliable Skip Hire if your project timeline may change. I paid an additional £180 via a payment link they sent me to secure a two‑week extension. Despite taking the payment, and without informing me that the extension wasn’t guaranteed, their subcontractor arrived and removed the skip on the very day the extension was supposed to begin, leaving my project stranded.

When I raised this, Operations Director Paul Bennet acknowledged the subcontractor error and confirmed in writing that the £180 would be refunded immediately, and that I would need to book a new skip. This has left me at least £54 out of pocket, which they refused to refund or discount against a new hire.

I followed up asking them to reconsider, given they had acknowledged the error, but I’ve had no response. On top of that, the £180 refund never appeared in my account, so I’ve had to raise a dispute with my bank. I’m now having to pay an additional £234 for a completely new skip just to keep my project moving.

Unprofessional handling, poor communication, and a failure to resolve an issue they admitted was their mistake. Based on my experience, I would avoid.
