I have asked for my details to be…

I have asked for my details to be deleted a number of times over the past 3/4 years since I first clicked one of their adverts and got a quote, yet I still find myself getting calls every few months trying to flog me overpriced junk,

Surely it’s a breach of GDPR to keep a customers details that long after asking to be removed? I won’t do business with a company that operates on shady ethics and the rest of these reviews paint a clear enough picture alongside the clearly fake reviews

I would avoid REST at all costs Emails go unanswered my survey was incorrect a nightmare from start to finish. The installers were great but they were subcontracted.

Please note that our standard email response time is 24–48 hours, which is in line with most companies. For any urgent matters, we always recommend calling the office directly so one of our customer service agents can deal with the issue promptly.

Our colleague Michael also reached out to you personally via WhatsApp to help resolve your enquiry once we received your email. Regarding the survey, we understand there was a small change to the original plan due to the number of panels that could be fitted. This was discussed and resolved with you on the day of installation to maintain our level of service and ensure your satisfaction.

In this case, the installation was completed by our specialist subcontracted team due to the specific requirements of your metal rafters, which needed a specialist fitting approach. You also had several roof obstructions, such as multiple flues and gables, which affected panel positioning and made your installation quite unique. This was by no means a straightforward job — in fact, many companies declined to take it on because of its complexity — but we delivered exactly what we promised.

Unfortunately, not all installations go completely smoothly, but we always work closely with homeowners to ensure full satisfaction upon completion, which was achieved in your case. We also agreed revised terms with you before proceeding, ensuring transparency at every stage.

We feel that a 1-star review may not fairly reflect the overall experience, as it seems to stem from one unanswered email — which may have gone into junk due to a technical issue. As you mentioned yourself, the installation team was excellent, the quality of the work was high, and we have proof of direct communication throughout. We’ve also attempted to call you on several occasions but have been unable to reach you.

The whole experience was exceptional

The whole experience was exceptional, from the appointment being booked by Charlotte.

Ahmed the senior surveyor, was polite & friendly he was really knowledgeable & took time to explain the best system for my home. Far more in depth & professionalism all round. I went for a Duracell system which Rest are platinum partners with and Eurener panels with additional warranties. Contact Ahmed for an appointment you won’t be disappointed.

Install on the day was all sorted by Hassan who project managed & answered all my questions regarding the actual install. Habib on the day was a diamond done a commendable job top quality & cleared up when finished whilst taking the time to show me how the system works.

Mike office staff was great on the back end sorting out all my paperwork. If you want to get in touch with Rest please do their head & shoulders above everyone as I had few quotes but wasn't satisfied with the quality.

Installed a system but back up is non existent.

You installed a system but just left everything for the purchaser to try to sort out afterwards. Poor business ethics.

Absolutely appalling customer service after they had been paid in full. Text 5 times, phoned several times and nothing. They take the money and run !!!!!!! DISGUSTING COMPANY.

After speaking with our dispute processor, HIES, they have confirmed that the system was installed exactly as per the signed contract and customer request. There were no issues raised at the time of installation — the concerns were only brought to our attention after the installation was completed. The location and type of system were fully agreed upon prior to works commencing.

We understand your frustration regarding communication delays and apologise if our response times did not meet your expectations. However, we want to clarify that the installation itself was completed in line with the agreed specifications and contractual obligations.

The Solar equipment was very good,the fitting was exceptional,However the engineers never cleaned up after themselves leaving a mess for us to sort out,and the planned day of the installation was not kept to,which meant i had to take additional days off work.

Very friendly good service

Insulation of the solar power and the batteries went very smooth guys that installed the system for me and they were very nice and plight they've shown me how what was needed and how the system worked I also spoke to the secretary whose giving me the information that I needed which are also made payment through with her great help and very plight

Terrible experience

after not satisfied ( to say the least) costumer service and overpriced offer I've refused to do business with Rest. After leaving 1* review (way to much) I've received phone call from Rest employee, that man tried to convince me to remove my review. And dropped price from 11k to 8k. I said - I'm still not interested. Then Rest employee started shouting on me! If you want "thrills" for your money - by all means - they are the right company for you

I did a lot of research before choosing a solar installer because it’s a big investment, and I’m glad I landed on REST UK. What struck me most was how straightforward they were – no inflated claims, just honest numbers and a clear plan that made sense. The survey was detailed, and they showed me exactly how much I could save and how quickly I’d see a return. On install day, the team were polite, efficient, and clearly knew their trade inside out. The wiring and finish were really neat, which I appreciated. Since switching on, I’ve seen a massive difference in our energy bills and it feels good knowing we’re less reliant on the grid. I’d recommend REST UK without hesitation to anyone who wants a reliable, no-nonsense service.

I was really impressed with the way REST UK handled everything from start to finish. The rep who came out was friendly, knowledgeable, and never once made me feel pressured into buying. He laid out all the options and showed me exactly how the system would work with my roof and usage. On the day of installation, the engineers were on time, worked efficiently, and explained each stage as they went along. The panels look fantastic, the Duracell battery is performing brilliantly, and the app makes it easy to track what’s going on. It’s reassuring to know I’ve got solid warranties backing everything too. Top service all round.

REST UK gave us the confidence to go ahead with solar after years of sitting on the fence. Their approach was refreshingly no-nonsense – no silly gimmicks or pushy sales tactics, just straight answers to our questions and clear figures. The installation team turned up on time, worked quickly and neatly, and left us with a fully working system by the end of the day. Great service would highly recommend them

We had our solar system installed by REST UK and honestly, I wish we’d done it sooner. The whole experience was easy, stress-free, and very professional. Asked for quote for solar system

Update on my previous review - after awful costumer service and overpriced offer I've refused to do business with Rest. After leaving 1* review (way to much) I've received phone call from Rest, that man over today tried to convince me to remove my review. And dropped price from 11k to 8k so I'll just do it. I said - I'm still not interested. I said -"stop acting like a toddler, and for once listen what I'm saying". Then said man said "who the F** you think you are?! I know your address, I know where you live, I'll come to your house and I'll do things!" Incident reported to company directly (they don't seem to care) and Police. Please vote with your money and put those criminals out of business!
