They did what they said they would do…

They did what they said they would do and in the time frame they said. The install team were great and everything was explained. When they left everything was clean and tidy, I could not find any faults.

Beware mis selling, lies

Be very cautious. I experienced high-pressure sales tactics and was pushed to make a quick decision. The “best offer” was supposedly only available that day, but then reduced again the next day—clearly a manipulation tactic.

The salesperson, (I've been asked to remove his name, but he in mentioned in the good reviews :() claimed that EVPS guarantees the estimated annual savings and that if I didn’t save that amount, someone would pay me the difference. After asking for proof multiple times, no evidence or written guarantee was provided. Instead, I was met with constant scare-mongering about how other companies can't offer such a guarantee (which, to be clear, does not actually exist).

To top it off, their quote was £2,500 more than a reputable national company offering the same product.

Avoid unless you want to deal with pressure, vague promises, with no documentation to back up and inflated pricing.

Negativity comes from the fact that it took several calls to have the scaffolding removed-told to ring them myself to give more clout!
I had 3 red reminders for an overdue bill even though I had paid the day after the panels were completed!!
Otherwise -no concerns!?

Great sales rep!

Tonight we had the most lovely, informed and knowledgeable conversation with Somia, from REST. She spent time explaining the solar panel system, checking all our needs and giving advice on the way forwards.

She was funny and wonderful in equal measures.

Had a gut feeling we could trust Rest solar

Why did we go with Rest solar after speaking to Andy over a zoom meeting we were put at ease and got a good feeling about our solar journey. On the installation day 3 young lads ( I'm in my 60 so everyone is young) turned up very polite and explained what they were going to do and were very clean worker's. After installation was completed one of them walked me through the system and how to navigate the app. I would thoroughly recommend Rest solar.

Excellent job done

MARTIN THE SALES GUY WAS VERY HELPFUL and the install team were very polite and efficient they found solutions to a couple of problems with where to sight the equipment and fuse box and were genuinely nice guys.

Misinformed about the installation …

Misinformed about the installation date no help until I contacted customer services to find out what was going on! Threatened that a would forced to pay the money upfront myself and basically treated like a retard when I asked.for help! Altogether very unhelpfully initially!

We have accommodated for multiple technical issues on your side during the installation process, including the loss of access to your emails and lack of signature for the works being completed (which is what lead to a reminder text being sent to you after payment was delayed).

We had also arranged to provide further assistance when your daughter was at the property as you claimed she would be more knowledgeable with regards to your tariff set up, but failed to get an answer on the phone that evening as we had agreed.


We will always do everything we can to support our customers, but there are limits to what can be done to assist someone remotely, particularly with regards to things like tariff set up, as it involves your personal accounts and data.
