Great service from start to finish ...sales Ash was brilliant,small glitch on first day but was quickly fixed by the installation manager ...,I did feel a bit like Comms stopped and we weren't kept up to date re paperwork and certificates, but after saying so,Michael in accounts has been great with regular updates ...the system is working beyond expectations

Some exceptional service! The majority of the contact and service…
The majority of the contact and service I had with this company was excellent. The two most notable factors was the excellent solar panel fitting team (led by Hassan) and the absolutely outstanding customer support I received from Charlotte who is in the Margate based office (mangers please note - you have a very exceptional employee in this person!!). The one issue I had was the time taken to remove the scaffolding.

Trustworthy Company that Deliver First Time
For the past eight months, I’ve been looking into installing Solar PV and battery system. As I looked into it further, I found that this industry is unregulated and there are companies out there with minimal or vast experience in installation in this sector. After my thorough research and multiple site surveys by various companies, I came across REST. ( Renewable Energy Services Team)
My initial contact within the organisation was Daryl Manners, who visited my property to carry out the Survey. I knew exactly what my system requirements were and how i’d like the system to be installed at my property. Daryl listened to what I had to say and then designed a system to my exact requirement, this made me feel at ease to whom I was dealing with and had complete confidence in him to look after my best interest over the company.
Once the system requirements and installation method was agreed, the installation was booked and installed within 10 days to my complete satisfaction. I had a Duracell system installed with 3 x 15KW batteries with a total weight of 180kg’s, the way the batteries were installed, also came to the attention of Head of Duracell UK, who commented “I love the way you have mounted 15kw in a very small space”, as a team they deliver for the customer to the highest standards.
Overall I would recommend REST, for all you Solar and battery installation requirements, from first point of contact to complete installation, the whole team dealt with me in a professional manner and delivered the project on time with my complete satisfaction.

Excellent solar system installation
I have a 10 kW solar panel and batteries installed a few months ago.
Hassan and Habib are honest and right people and they have done perfect job.
We save in our energy bill and making some money by exporting the excess to Octopus.

Great experience
I recently had solar panels installed by REST and I’m beyond impressed with the entire experience! From the moment I reached out, Saif, who was my main point of contact, made everything so smooth. He was not only incredibly friendly but also very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain every detail of the process and answered all of my questions thoroughly, making sure I was well informed every step of the way. The installation was quick and professional and the team was very efficient. Saif's communication was excellent throughout, keeping me updated and ensuring everything went as planned. I’m really happy with my new solar system and couldn't recommend REST and Saif in particular, more highly!

Structurally damaged home and roof
Structurally damaged home and roof, terrible post install support, trash in guttering, leaking roof, silicone ooze volcanoes hidden under panels, lied to about product capabilities by sales and awful warranty support, a nightmare installation with ongoing poor support.
Miss-sold the battery, I asked for backup power on power cutt, they told me that was what they were quoting for, then after install I find out it's not that.
They used steel bolts on tiled roof, drilled through tiles, punctured lining, cracked and snapped roof joists from oversized bolts. Claimed install was correct, had to involve legal and the equiptment supplier for them to admit fault. They refused to restore to original condition, scaffolding left up over a year.
MCS did NOTHING, a dog and pony show to trick consumers into feeling safe.
End of story, threatened legal action to force a significant discount as they refused to rectify, discount didn't come close to covering damage. Repeated leaks since, nearly no response from REST under 10 year warranty, multple requests over months to get a visit, awful

Worked out in the end.
Brilliant until my money was taken. Martin lost interest when he made his sale. Promises were made about the instal date that weren’t kept. The date was changed on the day it was supposed to go on. And when it finally did go on, one less panel was installed. This was not conveyed to me until I came home and counted the panels. The scaffolding took over a month to be removed. Many tiles were broken on my roof and my outside light was broken. (Both Rest had replaced). The after care was non existent until Hassan the owner took over from Martin the sales person. When he took over my case he was very apologetic and worked tirelessly to fix the problems I encountered. They had problems with local contractors which I’m assuming won’t be used again.
The actual system works well now it’s on. Not happy with the process to get it there with many things needing to be rectified.

What went well - Installation and explanation of the product. App is great.
Not so great - Communication on when scaffolding would be set up which was a dependency for installation and I had to follow up for dismantling. Communication overall could be better.

Fantastic from start to finish
Great experience from the first meeting with Martin to the very quick installation. Work is neat and tidy, electrician husband very happy with the electrical installation. Place left tidy and rubbish taken away. Really respectful and friendly group of guys working here. Just great!
