Bought 2 tags and wish I'd checked the reviews on Trustpilot before I did, they are flimsy and one stopped working within a couple of days. Support advised me to reset it but despite doing this it still doesnt work. Emailed them asking for a refund for the faulty item and a week later have had no response. Would advise people not to buy.

They’ll probably won’t post this but we’re getting the word out everywhere. Bought 6 roam tags and fell for their false reviews. Opened one of the tags, it didn’t work. It took me over a week to fight to get a return label. I spent almost $350 and tgey are charging us a 50% restocking fee. We have reported them to the attorney general and BBB. We also have a family attorney that said he won’t charge if we need a little action. Please know this is a huge scam!

Won't work with android phone. Did not see that in the advertisement. When I contacted customer service, I was treated rudely just to ask simple questions.
Roamtags for pets 👎
The two pet tags I purchased took 2 months to arrive not 2 weeks. The were easy to set up and when they work they do locate my dogs. Unfortunately they hardly ever work even with the dogs sitting right next to me. Worst product ever for tracking, expensive and rude support team

Product doesn't work, I've emailed customer services multiple times and they couldn't care less (most of it is auto AI responses which I questioned and eventually got an actual reply from someone).
Requested a refund because it's still not working, they waited a few extra days than normal to reply to my last email which funnily enough pushed it over their 30 day return policy (even though I have multiple emails since I first received it saying it's not working) so they tried to to palm me off with that BS excuse, so I'm now going through my credit card company to get a refund.
Avoid this company and product.

Roam charged a 50% restocking fee anyway! In their return policy they say they can charge up to 50% restocking fee, but you would think they would do so if the product wasn't returned according to their list of specs. No, they WILL charge you the 50% restocking fee regardless!! These guys are greedy jerks.

These tags are absolute garbage!!!
- They are not waterproof as indicated on their website - not even close - they simply have no seal on the battery lid. They have not even tried to make it waterproof.
- They are unreliable... if you can get them to work, and randomly beep - support (if you can get them to reply) simply says 'oh they do that sometimes - just factory reset it and set it up again'
Do yourself a favour and simply buy a proper waterproof case from Amazon or somewhere and put an Apple Air tag in it!!!! Works perfectly.

Completely useless. Please don’t waste your money. I got conned out of £50 for a product that doesn't work. QR code doesn’t scan and the response from their “support” was deeply patronising. It’s a scam do yourself a favour and avoid like the plague.
Roam tag received in November stopped working in January

Contacted support and as the device was more than 30 days old they declined to replace it. I was definitely not expecting the device to stop functioning so quickly.
Will be going with another company for a replacement but only if the replacement policy is much longer.
Shocking experience with Roamtag
Shocking experience with Roamtag. I could not pair the tag with my phone and the alloted time expired because the battery tag tore off. I was advised to open the tag but this is impossible. It will not prise open. Very rude response when I asked for a replacement tag. I can only assume this is a scam. Avoid!

I have reported to scam watch and the ACCC in Australia someone needs to stop these evil people. I lost nearly $200 trying to keep my pups safe money that was hard to find.

Stopped working due to water damage
Stopped working due to water damage. I explained that my puppy has only worn it in the garden and hasn’t been in deep water, but they will not replace it.
I have shown the tracking proving it stopped working within 30 days, but I contacted after 30 days (due to it being Christmas) and they are being extremely unhelpful and will not do anything because it is outside of their 30 days policy. Given it is supposed to be IP67 waterproof, I wouldn’t expect this to happen and would expect the product to last much longer than one month (especially on a puppy!) and would expect the company to apply some common sense in dealing with my complaint. It’s not like it broke years after purchase, it was sent to me on Nov 20th and I contacted them on December 28th.

I was gifted a Roam Tag this Christmas despite all of my efforts to add it to my I Phones Finder and along with the quick and unhelpful advice from their CA I still can not add it.
Also from the advice I have received I have had to open the tag replace the battery; open it then numerous time s to reset I do wonder now just water tight it is . Surely it can’t be this difficult !!!???
Avoid Roam like the plague!!!
After emailing as my tag had not arrived, I got a response stating I'd had the tracking information (I hadn't) when I got the tracking details, I saw my tag had been stuck at the airport for 9 days. I emailed asking them to chase it up and was told I should contact the carrier. I responded that I had paid for an item I had not received and it was not my responsibility to chase the carrier, I said if they wouldn't sort it out please refund my money or I'd claim it back from the credit card company.

Appalling customer service from Mark H. Condescending tone and dismissive manner. They are selling faulty products and offering 50% as a gesture of goodwill blaming you for breaking the tag.
Faulty Product, Terrible Customer Service
I recently purchased a Roam Tag, but unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing. The tag I received looked like a returned item, showing clear signs of wear and tear. It was evident that it hadn't been properly inspected or refurbished before being sent out. I thought I was getting a brand new item by the battery pull out tag was missing.
I tried to scan the QR code and it didn’t populate a link to click on. I reported this and I was simply told ‘it works for us’.
I tried to sync the tag to my phone for over 30min to no avail. I was then told to test the battery to check if it beeps. It beeped. I was then sent condescending instructions about pairing the item which was signed off by saying that my phone may be faulty! if it doesn’t work. Latest iPhone 16, less than 2 months old by the way. I eventually synced the tag. When it consistently showed my pet at home for the following few days, I contacted the company again to report this. I was told to re-sync it. The second time the tag wouldn’t sync at all to my phone.
When I contacted customer support to report the issue and request a replacement or refund, I was met with a frustrating lack of professionalism. They refused to provide a prepaid returns label, making the return process inconvenient and costly. Advising the ‘reprocessing fee’ is 50% of the original cost. The Additionally, they have been unresponsive to my follow-up inquiries, leaving me feeling completely ignored for several days before a rude Mark answered saying that’s the best I’ll get and that he was doing me a favour and causing me of breaking the tag within 7 days of receipt.
I am extremely disappointed with Roam Tag's product quality and customer service. I would strongly advise potential customers to reconsider their purchase and look for more reliable and customer-oriented alternatives.
