Spoke to Ellis , who was excellent in all areas . Knew his subject very well and was able to answer all my questions and I had a few as have never sailed with this particular cruise line before .

Book now as the places are filling fast. Pay a hefty deposit more than 18 months in advance. Don’t know the details of hotel in Tokyo- how can I extend my stay without booking a hotel.

Dreadful service
I rarely leave poor reviews but booking our cruise through ROL was a nightmare. We decided to join our friends on an Ambassador Cruise at a very reasonable price and were very surprised that ROL found an accessible cabin was available as my wife is wheelchair.dependant. They stated they would have to liaise with Ambassador and would get back to us in a couple of days. It was a week later that we finally heard that it was all okay but needed details of wheelchair for flight on Virgin. I gave them the details but again didn't hear back. Then had a call from Virgin asking for the details which I had already given to ROL. Finally sorted accessibility needs with Virgin who were very good.We paid the deposit but were then told that as we couldn't use the coach provided for transfers we would have to arrange our own transfers from the ship to the plane on the return journey even though we were told transfers were included and have been on every other cruise we have been on. We were told they would enquire further then after another long wait told that transfers would be included we then paid the balance in full. Next I get another invoice for further £100 pus pounds. I called them but they couldn't tell me what is was for and would get back to us. They didn't. I then had a look at the deck plan for our cabin and saw that it was exactly the same size as a normal cabin and couldn't see how they could fit wheelchair space and a wet room into. I queried this with AOL who assured we the room was accessible and would suit our needs. I then looked at the room on cruise critic and a review stated the room was not suitable for a power chair. I then rang Ambassador accessibility dept who stated there was a step into the shower area and the room was not suitable for a powerchair. I then contacted ROL to cancel but had to be put through to cancellations dept. Two weeks later we were reimbursed in two separate payments.
