Third time returning customer...

Third time returning customer...
Purchased a Wentworth lounge/ dining set last year with firepit table after being shown round the showroom by Aqeel. Few weeks later I returned to purchase a parasol and base. Last week, I returned to purchase their Lugano Polycarbonate Gazebo. There's a reason I return here - the quality of their furniture is top notch, delivery is very fast given I live 10 mins away.

A huge shout out to Aqeel - he is an asset to this company! His customer service skills, knowledge on all sets of furniture in terms of sizing, instructions on how to put furniture together and maintenance is spot on. I'm sure the other colleagues are lovely but there's noone else I'd rather speak with other than Aqeel. Very approachable, professional and as I say, very knowledgeable on furniture sets which saves time and helps with quick decisions!

I've already recommended this place to family and friends, who have made purchases, and will continue to do so.

Top marks to the delivery company

Top marks to the delivery company.
Items despatched next day, excellent communication regarding delivery time, and very polite helpful delivery team. Having had a Royalcraft patio set for some years we were really happy to find this option to purchase just two more chairs without having to get yet another table we didn’t need! Style is slightly different, and the rattan lacks a little quality than our set from 5yrs ago, but still robust, and cushions look smart. They’re definitely waterproof! Happy, and have recommended.

Excellent quality and superb customer service

We ordered the Mayfair/Aspen firepit table, which is great.
When it arrived we noticed one corner had been damaged (as can happen in transit) and contacted Royalcraft customer services by phone. They advised to email pictures of the damage, which I did and received and automatic acknowledgement. The following day we received a response immediately offering us a replacement top, which we agreed to.
Richard (?) phoned us and arranged for a team to dismantle, and replace the top within 2 days at our home.
The team arrived when promised, were friendly and did an excellent job.
All in all, I am totally satisfied with both the quality and look of the table itself and the superb customer service and support team from Royalcraft...
I couldn't commend them more highly- one extremely satisfied customer!

Great experience ,wooden garden…

Great experience ,wooden garden furniture is really posh and solid, it has highest quality, above expectations. Cushions have very good quality. Packaging inside were really good tightened together, each peace of furniture has its own box. Front of sofa or chairs has beautiful label with company logo, which makes it look posh and elegant. Love it!

Had a new pergola fitted on Tuesday.

Had a new pergola fitted on Tuesday.. the guys were polite & professional. Unfortunately it didnt work so they came back the following day very very apologetic & fixed it
Would definitely recommend this company the quality & service BRILLIANT

Great price, great communication

Great price, cheaper than M&S for same garden furniture. Fantastic communication, speedy delivery. Very polite and helpful delivery service. Product well packaged and in excellent condition.

Beautiful garden furniture

Beautiful garden furniture. Great quality garden furniture. Easy to assemble. The little plastic screw covers are the only thing I don’t like. They don’t stay on and the colours is not a good match. Overall I am pleased and I would recommend.

Great Product and Service

Replaces our aged parasol today with one direct from RoyalCraft. Brilliant service from Aqeel in first showing us around the showroom and then in organising a discount on the chosen item. Georgina was also great in sorting invoice and payment. Arrive at 9 and was back home with the parasol put together and in use by 10.30. Highly recommend!

I would like to thank Aqeel for all his…

I would like to thank Aqeel for all his help and support while purchasing my garden furniture.
He was professional and polite during the process. Aqeel was very informative of all the products they sell at Royalcraft.
I decided to purchase the Roma range. It looks beautiful on my patio. He was able to get the furniture to me on the date I requested. Wonderful service from start to finish. Aqeel is an asset to Royalcraft. I would buy from Royalcraft again.

Genuine lovely staff, great quality furniture, Recommend to others

Really lovely company to work with the Sales process was friendly and easy. There was a delivery issue. Totally the fault of the delivery company and not Royal Crafts fault, yet within 20 minutes of the issue. Royal craft sent out three members of staff in a van to come to my house, move and build the furniture that the delivery company could not deliver successfully. As well as this Royal craft couldn’t have been more apologetic, kind and helpful. The furniture itself is beautiful and well put together. really happy with the product and service will definitely order again and recommend. Tony in sales, Georgia in customer service and jack simon and val who came to my house. All of you were lovely and helpful thank you.

We bought the Roma but wish we hadn’t …

We bought the Roma three seater sofa with two chairs and coffee table. Not the most expensive outdoor furniture but at more than £1,000, not cheap.

This furniture looks nice but is not comfortable to sit on. The seat cushions are very hard (maybe they will soften?) and the backs are quite low. They’re not easy to put together but not that hard - it just takes a long time with lots of fiddly screws.

My main issue is that they provide wood oil with the furniture and instructions with a complicated process for treating the wood en parts (ie most of it). I doubt if you could complete this process in under a couple of days, even if you had nothing else to do, as it involves four (yes four!) repeated processes of sanding and painting with several hours between each coat for drying. This is never mentioned at the buying stage and I certainly would not have bought this set if I’d realised.

I checked the website to see whether it was really necessary to oil the furniture and guess what - if you don’t do it when you first get the furniture and then repeat the process twice a year every year, then the warranty is invalidated.

So we now have expensive, uncomfortable furniture which we can’t return (I’m not disassembling it or trying to re box it!) and which could fall apart any time - just because I’m not prepared to spend that much time doing a job which should have been done by the manufacturer. And if it falls apart it’ll be my problem because the warranty won’t be valid.

I don’t think that’s good - if you’re thinking of buying go somewhere where the job of making the furniture has actually been finished!

Giving two stars because straight out of the box it looks quite nice. In a few months I might wish I hadn’t!

Post script.

There has been a useful response from Royalcraft. Thank you.

It turns that I don’t have to sand and oil the furniture as it is already coated with a protective layer. That’s good but I’m guessing that if I had sanded it (as the instructions in the box said) I’d have removed the protective coat which is not so good!

But thank you for making that clear and I’ve changed my star rating from 2 to 3. It would be more if the instructions were clearer.

Dear Mr Lawrence, apologies for the misunderstanding. You would have received with the set assembly instructions which highlights the care instructions for this particular range. Due to the PU coating, it gives the furniture extra protection so top ups will be required rather than sanding and full application. On the website care and maintenance you have looked at is across our none PU treated wood - thank you for highlighting this, we will update the site to advise on PU coated wood, as this does not apply to the set you have received. We have your email address and shall email you with the assembly instructions mentioned above (which you should have received with the furniture) this will also include the correct care instructions for you. In regards to the cushions, they are not as soft as an indoor sofa due to the Fire retardant coating which is legally required. Over time with use this will become softer and more comfortable. Truly Excellent; Absolutely Exceptional.

What can I say? Royalcraft; what a truly amazing company! I bought a large grey motorised pergola, and it was delivered and swiftly assembled by such an amazing team of three guys; Pav, Simon and Jack. These guys really cared about my property, but more than that my happiness, nothing was too much trouble.
I have always believed that it stems from the top, and the man at the top is Richard; who is the most kind, compassionate, caring person. The liaison with Royalcraft was brilliant. I would highly recommend this company; I am so happy with my large motorised pergola; it has changed my life. Thank you guys so much.

Cushion storage box

Roma Bistro Set

Overall very pleased with the product quality and service received.
We first noticed the furniture set was available from M&S and were just about to buy it when their ordering system was taken offline as a result of the unfortunate cyber attack.
Whilst looking for alternatives I came across the product we wanted direct from Royalcraft… and as a bonus it was over £100 cheaper and free delivery!
Communication throughout the process was excellent and in particular from the delivery partner BJS who in addition were able to resolve an address issue without any input from myself.
Delivery was on time and the delivery team were professional, helpful and polite.
Product was easy to assemble and looks great. We are now enjoying the benefits with the good weather.
Great job all round. 👍
