Scudo Avis 

Scudo does not stand behind its warranty. Website provides for lifetime warranty on taps. When I reported that the chrome tap has bubbles - I was shown a list and ways to clean chrome when I have actually cleaned the tap with chrome cleaners.

Had a part broken on my shower, rang Scudo at Harrisons with all the information, told they would send part out for delivery in 4 to 5 days.

Ordered via a retailer but had the product delivered to my home by a very helpful delivery driver. The product quality is fantastic! Won't use another brand for the remainder of my house reno - I've just ordered a kitchen tap!

When I first sent an email requesting the price and availability of parts required to fix the faulty lights on a bathroom cabinet I was impressed by the prompt response.
Unfortunately, my first impression quickly turned to disappointment.
Three different people responded suggesting that if I could provide proof of purchase/warranty validation they could look into it. I already had been told that the electrical side wouldn't be under warranty. All I wanted was parts required/price and availability.
Eventually I was contacted to say it wasn't under warranty and no parts were available, even though the unit is only 3 years old.
I can repair it myself but as I supplied it direct to my customer I wanted to go through the supplier.

I have had to contact Scudo twice since purchasing our boiler tap and on both occasions they have been superb. Fast response and sort out issue straight away. Good technical knowledge and friendly service.

Appalling product and an arrogant attitude toward paying customers. We bought a unit through a third party who was very good but these manufacturers should be well avoided!
Can you believe a bathroom unit cannot withstand moisture? Within weeks in a new and well ventilated bathroom the unit delaminating and swelling. Told it’s our fault for getting the unit wet!
Avoid these.

Highly rate Scudo

We bought a Scudo Koge hot water tap. Been nothing but disappointed from start to finish. Fitting the tap is fiddly, the diagrams in the instructions are mislabelled with one feed not labelled at all. There are so many flexi hoses it’s difficult to connect and fit them through the tap hole in the sink. The water pressure is shocking, so, so poor. We contacted Scudo who sent a troubleshooting guide and said this was a common problem. The guide is literally a copy of the instructions. They advised to loosen the weight, while this has offered improvement the pressure is still significantly lower than every other tap in the house. The plumber has advised that he believes it’s due to the extremely narrow flexi hoses the tap uses. The pull out function, frankly is useless, it comes out 6 inches and because the water pressure is so poor it has no effect at all. Having a boiling water tap is handy, I’d recommend getting one, just not this one.

Vorsicht bei Matt Black Armaturen – Miserable Qualität & Kundenservice!

Ich habe Matt Black Duschen und Armaturen für mein neues Haus gekauft – leider eine absolute Fehlentscheidung! Nach kurzer Zeit begann die schwarze Beschichtung sich abzunutzen, sodass das darunterliegende Messing sichtbar wurde. Als ich mich an den Kundenservice wandte, wurde ich völlig im Stich gelassen – stattdessen wurde versucht, das Problem auf angeblich falsche Reinigungsmittel zu schieben.

Nach Durchsicht anderer Bewertungen scheint dieses Problem kein Einzelfall zu sein. Offenbar gibt es massive Qualitätsmängel, und das Unternehmen übernimmt keinerlei Verantwortung. Ein teurer Fehler, den ich definitiv nicht noch einmal machen werde.
