My daughters and I needed our hair…
My daughters and I needed our hair styled for a concert we were attending. Polina did a fantastic job of styling our hair. She listened to what we were looking for and delivered exactly the look we wanted. She was very chatty and put us at ease. I would definitely book Polina again and I would recommend her.

Left me with a sore scalp and patch of hair missing!!
I booked Marcela for an updo with hair extensions, it hurt my scalp but informed me it shouldn’t hurt anymore once it’s secured in place. However when I took my hair down one of my extensions had been pulled out of my scalp with my hair leaving a patch!! Absolutely unacceptable and I feel she was not competent at all. I have had my hair put up numerous times and this has never happened before, being away for the weekend I used this company as not near to my usual salons at home! My head is still sore and realise now that when it hurt when she secured my hair with a bobble she had actually pulled one of my extensions out with my hair in!! Absolutely shocking experience and I’m still waiting for the company’s response!!

She was 1hour 20 mins late for a hair…
She was 1hour 20 mins late for a hair up appointment for sons wedding. Hair was put up in 20mins instead of 1hr appointment. But still had to pay full amount after a lot of stress.

Nadine was just amazing! Professional, polite, friendly, warm & just full of knowledge!! She made the whole experience feel very special. She gave me the most beautiful facial and, as requested, talked through the different steps providing so many wonderful tips. It was one of the best facials I’ve ever gotten, and definitely the best experience! Doing it all from the comfort of my own home was brilliant too. I’d recommend it to anyone & I’m definitely looking forward to my next facial!

Easy to book and lovely service!
Bryony was brilliant! She made me feel so comfortable and also so glam as a wedding guest.. So talented in both hair and makeup have me a look that still felt like me. My makeup lasted all day, thank you again! It was really easy to book and message Bryony.

Lovely energy + some feedback
Roxana was lovely; she arrived early and had a brilliant energy. Unfortunately, I had a mixed experience when it came to the outcome.
My hair was perfect. Even though I was initially planning Hollywood waves, she suggested something a bit softer, and it came out beautifully.
With the make up, I had a very specific, dewy / nude look I was going for, and showed her multiple reference pictures. She suggested toning down a couple of elements, which I was ok with. Unfortunately, the look did not turn out as expected at all - I was very orange, and it was very over the top. The color on my eyes was also quite orange /gold -ish which contributed to this effect.
I really appreciate that she saw that it wasn't working for me, and made an effort to wipe away and change it. She was able to improve it quite a bit, but unfortunately, we also ran out of time as she had another booking, so it was a much more rushed and stressful experience towards the end. I really really appreciate her effort to address the issue, and stay on a bit longer, but would suggest that rather than a big reveal at the end, it's better to check in on the look as one goes to ensure it's aligned with expectations (esp if there's a reference image).

Poor & unreliable service
Booked an Amanda Harrington tan with Secret Spa well in advance for a wedding. They changed my therapist three times, then cancelled on the day of the appointment with zero compassion or workable solution. Completely unreliable and unprofessional.
A refund was issued, but the stress and disruption was huge. Do not trust this service for anything important.

In this case, we reassigned your booking after therapists became unavailable, and on the day itself your final therapist had to withdraw unexpectedly due to a family emergency. Our team worked hard behind the scenes, contacting multiple professionals, offering travel fee support, and even checking alternative tan options but unfortunately we weren’t able to secure a suitable replacement in time.
While we did process a full refund, I appreciate that doesn’t undo the disruption and frustration you experienced. Please accept our sincere apologies again. We are taking steps internally to minimise the risk of situations like this happening in the future.
