I paid for a venue to be booked (and paid) a month and a half ago for a company event of 20+ people and having paid a coach for it.
4 working days before the event Sharesy said the could no longer host us int he venue. I went to the venue and apparently Sharesy hadn't even notify the venue we were booking. It's mindblowing that they had the guts of booking us in and taking my money when they obviously didn't even check with the actual place.
How can you run a company like that?
This has costed me a huge amount of stress, trying to find a new venue to accommodate my team and of course a lot more money as I had to pay for the short notice.

Sharesy are a disgusting fraudulent company that works under unmoral values and care not about their customers.

Great little site for hall bookings

Overall good experience with Sharesy. They arranged venue visit in demand for us and sent reminders 2 weeks and 2 days before our birthday, along with contact details for the venue, which I found useful.

The venues available on Sharesy were very appropriate and reasonably priced with good pictures and additional details to help make a choice.

My first booking was cancelled by the venue, frustratingly, and it wasn't highlighted until after payment that my booking wasn't a booking but a prepaid "request."

The customer support that helped me following this was very helpful and responsive, which is the reason for the 4 instead of a 3.

I ended up putting in 4 requests after this, to hedge my bets as a defensive move against the lack of a reliable booking. This probably wasn't a great experience for the venues who then confirmed and had 3 out of 4 cancelled. Increased effort all around. Sharesy should invest in greater transparency here around venues with guaranteed confirmation, venues that get sent an email request, and venues that will have n days to cancel. If they don't have support for venues to update their availability calendar to provide guaranteed bookings; they should look into this.

Sharesy also lacks a way to sign in and check your booking history or the status; it's all managed by emails and the email titles are a bit misleading. (eg the email that confirms your request says "Confirmation" but it's not a confirmation, it tells you the venue will confirm or cancel in 3 days)

Still this is a 4/5 rating. I will use Sharesy as a first stop for my next event and I hope they will use this feedback to improve the user experience and make it a bit easier for repeat users, with booking and payment histories.

Really good experience but only issue is you can’t physically call someone it’s all email. Can see photos of venues and when stuff is available, great service

I highly recommend this venue for hosting any child's birthday celebration.
The Children's party room it was clean, and well-equipped, perfect for my event. The booking process was smooth, and the staff were helpful and professional. The ambiance was fantastic, and the overall experience was worth every penny.

Sharesy was a great find. I was looking for a venue for my sons 18th. Found lots of local suitable venues.

Simple, efficient and great to use. If planning any event and needing to rent a space or venue, this is the website to use so that there's 0% of anxiety and 100% reassurance. Save the anxiety for the day of the party/event lol

App is easy to use. I had an issue with the booking as the venue cancelled late.

The app is not real time , you book a minimum of a few days in advance( so you cannot book last minute) and the venue needs to accept the booking first.
This means there is a slim chance of a change and uncertainty of a change.

Good and responsive customer service and all round smooth experience
