A bit like a car third party warranty - it's not covered...
The default position is they don't pay out because of the small print and various exclusions, making it fairly pointless in reality. Although on the face of it it's great, when you submit your claim you'll discover it's not 'made easy' and not covered at all, or only partly. Waste of time.

Always quick to respond. Unfortunately don’t make claiming user friendly for the elderly. No longer send out claim form after payment. I have never been able to use on-line claiming! Something always goes wrong (usually scanning & attaching receipt).

Been with sovereign health for deten…
Been with sovereign health for ten years +, put a claim in for dental which i have only ever done maybe twice in the past. Only for them to sent my claim back 00.said I needed more evidence as my visa payment wasn't good enough even though I had the practice name on it , so I also sent my email receipt to still not good enough came back 00.so won't be using them again cancelled my two policies with .very bad service

We're sorry to hear you're unhappy with your recent claims experience, and sorry to hear you've decided to cancel your policies.
In order for us to process a claim, certain mandatory information must be visible on the receipt submitted. Unfortunately, a card payment slip or till receipt on its own doesn't contain all the information we need to assess a claim. To help with this, the online customer area explains the five key pieces of information that should be included on a valid receipt.
If you'd like to discuss your claim in more detail, or resubmit it with a valid receipt, our Customer Support team will be happy to help. You can contact us on 01274 841130 (Monday to Thursday, 9am to 5pm, and Friday, 9am to 4pm).
