Total scam. Don't get tempted, the rooms on offer on gumtree don't exist.

£99 it cost me and my wife, for what? Sending us to a property we didn't ask to see? And not only did they do this 3 times, each time the properties were more than what we could afford! And the properties we requested weren’t even there? Each time they simply ignored our instructions, even when we said only send us to see the properties we request. And each time they offered no apology and laughed in our face when we requested a refund. DO NOT USE THIS 3rd PARTY COMPANY!!! Their address doesn’t exist either!!

This is a scam….. don’t believe them!!

Scam. Pay for viewing property....

Absolute scam. Most of the properties on there probably do not exist as the viewings available each day are essentially for the same 5 flats. When you request to view a property and return to the link of the property it immediately says 'Let agreed'; they find any way to stop you from viewing that flats you want to view. Do not waste your time - you are better off scavenging on Spareroom if you are looking for affordable accommodation. They also make you pay £79 upfront to be able to view flats but when meeting the Landlords during the viewings they were confused as to why an agency had made us pay to view their properties. I met a Landlord from The Bartlett group who outright told me a lot of people have had bad experiences with Spacelet and does not recommend it. This should definitely not be your plan A for your flat in London and not even plan B. They will keep you at your toes by saying the flats you want to view do not have a Landlord available for the viewing each day but try another day! Essentially, September comes along and you are still trying to view flats and everything is gone. Avoid at all costs.

Horrible!!! Had an absolutely disgusting first rent experience in London. Don't trust this scam please. I even had to move out of London because of the awful flat I found through them.

I am delighted to share my experience with Spacelet, as this is now my second time using their services, and I wholeheartedly recommend them. Rachel, in particular, went above and beyond to exceed my expectations. She found me a fantastic 1-bedroom flat with a stunning view that was exactly what I had hoped for. It was truly "bang on" and exceeded my expectations in every way.

I am immensely satisfied with the outcome and the level of service provided by Spacelet. Thanks to their efforts, I now have my desired 1-bedroom flat, and I will certainly be using their services again in the future.

They place an advert of studio and one bedroom flat on gumtree which seems to be cheap.
I contacted them, after series of questions which I answered. I was sent their website which I made payment of £237. I informed them and they acknowledged my payment.
Later on they now come up with another interview which they suppose to have asked me before making the payment.
They now sent me a post code after much pressure of two bedroom flat of £1,600 per month which I can't afford.
They now asked for my budget which I told them and they said they will get back to me. Till now they haven't.
A lot of people will still fall for this kind of trick. Anyone who needs a flat should see and make due delegence before engaging any agent. Also don't make any membership fee before seeing the flat you want to rent.

Do not use this agency. They are just so bad. They will charge you £99 for nothing. I regret wasting my money, and they did not book me even for one viewing. I hope I read the reviews before I paid them. If you have not yet paid, please don't pay. SCAM!

I’ve read the reviews and it is quite simple and I can clearly see some clearly are NOT clients and if they are, they simply don’t follow their procedure.
I work 9-5 and I every more gave them my availability and they had my criteria and I found my dream property at a good cost.
So sad to see the negative reviews here when they are just doing their job.

Terrible Agents they put pictures of flat that don’t exist telling me that the Landlords are not coming back to them still waiting for them to call me and I have paid £79 which they never show the property. As you guys may now agents fee are not existing in the UK. Bad business . Scam liars, terrible people.

Extremely defensive on the phone, resistant to even being paid in cash in person.

Obvious scam, no clue how the police allow them to operate.

Almost guaranteed they do not have the rooms listed, they gave me a hilarious excuse as to why studios had sat for months at such a bargain price.

"we have other flats in that building very similar. we don't make a new listing we just use this one"

I will at least get trustpilot to email them this so they know that they are wasting the one life they get trying to scam 80 quid out of people. Get a real job my friends!

I have found my current place from Spacelet.net and I am very happy with their service. I found a nice flat for the reasonable price and they helped me to connect with the landlord despite the fact that I was outside the UK.

Do not use this agency, is a scam they making you register for 99£ and they never have property just posting them. Than after you paid they never answer the phone.
