Terrible Agents they put pictures of flat that don’t exist telling me that the Landlords are not coming back to them still waiting for them to call me
This company are just charging £95 to do nothing I will be taking this company to Omnibus and Report them of their Scams!!!!

ABSOLUTE SCAM. Giving them even one star is far too generous a reflection of this company. To be scamming people out of their hard earned money during a cost of living crises when they are desperate for a place to stay is IMMORAL. Karma will bite them and their terrible complicit phone staff on the ass. They advertise great looking properties to entice you in to paying a membership fee in order to be able to see these properties. Once they have your money you realise none of those properties were ever actually available. Over the phone they are combative and rude, that’s when you realise you’ve been done. A legit company wouldn’t speak to customers in such a way. Deplorable people.

Total scam, no idea how property sites still include their listings or how they haven’t been shut down.
They use old listings of properties no longer available, you pay £80pp to be able to attend viewings and they send you to complete different properties.
Several times they sent me to dirty, dangerous places, with several other people doing viewings at the same time.
One of the properties I visited had blood on the pavement outside. Numerous viewings were with 5+ men, late evening. On one occasion, I had to call a friend because one of the men in the viewings began following me as I left. They have ZERO concern for your safety.
None of my requirements had been listened to and they’re completely uncooperative on the phone, you WILL NOT see any of the properties listed.
DO NOT waste your time or money.

This company is a scam. They advertise properties and then charge you £80 to tell you the advertised property is no longer available.
Their customer service is terrible too. They’re rude and combative over the phone, and unwilling to give straight answers to simple questions.
If you expect people to pay hard earned money for a service, you need to be much better than you are.

Pure scam, Unfortunately the property you sent me is not what I am asking for on your website. Not even the same area or price

If it is possible to give no stars that would be the case, I had used them b4 in 2021 and after a few requests on properties I got a contract detail for a landlord. Keep in mind they advertise themselves as properties finder cos we are the ones looking for properties and sending them the information once we paid the £79, that is what that fee is for, £79 if for them to help you look for properties. I managed to get a property in 2021 and there was no further use for my account, a year later my landlord wanted to up my rent by 20% claiming it was use to the electricity and water and gave me a month notice. So I moved, I tried to use my old account on Spacelet but I couldn’t, I had to pay again! And since July I have contacted them 20 times to view a property with only 2 responses for properties I did not as for. I have asked for my money back on numerous occasions just to get blatantly ignored. I am not the only one that has gone through this, don’t wait your time or your money on these useless people they have no intention on helping people find a home and no guilt from getting money away from hard working people.

It’s absolutely terrible agency. They charge you £80 for nothing. They don’t give you flats viewing from their web. If you call them they will eventually ignore your number. Terrible!!!

Spacelet is pure SCAM!!!! I don't know why nobody is yet to sue them, or why the government haven't shut them down. You ask about a specific property, and they confirm its available. However, they'll ask you to pay 79 pounds as membership fees before they can show you the property. After paying the money, they completely ghost you, they start giving stories about how they are unable to contact the landlords for the said property. They then suggest alternative properties that are crap!!!! I pary their Karma hits them really hard. Fake people, Monica's fake, Claire's fake. I honestly don't know why Rightmove and Zoopla still allow them advertize on their pages, knowing fully well that they are of no good.

This summer I was looking for a place and I found spacelet on zoopla with a flat which was quite nice, I called them to ask them if that specific flat is available and if is owned by my landlord and they told me yes. Then I called my landlord asking to show me that flat and the landlord told me that flat was rented months ago and spacelet keep those flats available on their website just to get the fu***ing fee of 69£.
Now I was looking to rent out a new place and they were coming up on gumtree with the same flats as in March, when I first used them, and by curiosity I went on their website and I saw my actual flat on their website and it's having the label "just reduced" , not to mention that they are misleading the people with unnacurate information. On my flat description they say I have communal access to garden and I don't have a sh**t also the prices which are showing on zoopla, or gumtree or God know what other websites they use, are not accurate as well. The flats are much more expensive!

They are ripping off the customer asking an illegal fee

Please please Do Not Ever pay any money online before you meet an agent at their property office !! Even if they call you and ask to pay some money first!! Please dont do it !! Remember if it's cheap and look easy, then you know you are going to receive the same result !!

Go to rightmove , zoopla and all those popular genuine agents but never some rubbish agent you never heard of

The good agents always might be a little expensive and headache but at least you know you are safe . So remember, No See face to face in the office , No Money !! And never give your credit card details to someone

This spacelet agent is a scam !!

This is the worst real estate agency!!! Basically this company is a FRAUD. I paid the fee to show me the properties they currently have on the website as available and it turns out that these properties have been rented out for over a year. I have been trying to talk to them but they ignore me and do not assist you with problems. You can't visit them in the office (if they even have an office). I asked for my money back and they literally ignored me. I never viewed the properties. DON'T FALL INTO THE SAME TRAP. NEVER TRUST SPACELET.

The property listed on their websites is never available. I paid the membership fee and booked viewings for several different properties, but they were never available. It's a scam!!!

This company is a load of crap, their website is not up to date with available properties, customer service is terrible, you are not even able to book viewings for the properties you want to see, just have to wait for them to send you an invitation to view some random property that you never requested. Crap company who are hoarding properties across London and then don't have a business that is run well enough to even rent them out again successfully

SCAM do not use, paid our £79 and got nothing my son is having to commute to London daily for Uni, wasted a month hoping for these scammers to come through.
Once they have your money that’s the last you hear from them.
Should have looked here first you live and learn

they do not have the properties they list on gumtree, they put the same properties up daily on rental websites, and have been doing so for the last 3 years at least.
once you pay the membership fee, they will send you to disgusting dirty properties which dont suit your needs, and which are probably illegal to even rent out.
i recommend you to reverse the payment from your card, report them for fraud to trading standard,

I'm afraid this company appears to be scamming their customers. They lure you in with how many properties they seem to have on their books, but actually, when it comes to viewing them, it does not seem to be possible. I'm not even sure if a lot of the properties actually exist. Please don't get sucked in with the temptation of their apparent properties (there is so little choice out there at the moment it is difficult not to) but it seems you will not be able to view the properties anyway. I will be taking this further as it is such a scam.

Join the agency but no response they are very rude. They don’t answer the calls. It’s only waste of money I wish I had check the reviews before already done the membership 😭

They never respond to phone calls or emails, except with generic automated replies telling you to sign up to their website. Afterwards, there are no responses

Terrible business model from a customer's perspective

Even if it works, they ask you pay £79 (at the lowest) upfront, the properties listed are pretty cheap in fairness, but after reading other reviews I'm not hopeful that I will actually get anything.

If you're interested in:
-Paying upfront for a service no other lettings agency charges for

-Not being able to actively book a viewing, instead having to wait until they tell you which properties have veiwings

-Being scammed

Then I can only fully recommend spacelet

But the wiser idea is to avoid them at all costs.
