Spectrum were very helpful when our car stopped working only 5 months after purchasing it from Car Giant. 11 months on and our car is still causing us problems and Spectrum are still helping to get these issues rectified.

This was the one of most stressful experiences I have ever had with an insurance company. They time after time tried to wiggle out of paying the claim. Eventually after many many battles calls emails, 2 different garages and an engineers report they paid a % of the claim but even then they kept referring to the policy wording and trying wiggle of other related parts needed to get back on the road! My complaint was essentially ignored and they said they hadn’t done anything wrong and admitted no liability for causing so many delays and stress. No hire car was offered until the claim was accepted which took months had to beg and borrow and hire my own!they offered £100 and I was of the road for 5 months. I requested a subject access request ( SARS report ) which has also been ignored and I have now registered a complaint direct with the ICO for failing to provide the information I requested. Stay well away from this company they are the cowboys of the car warranty industry.
I would never recommend Spectrum in a million years. STAY AWAY they should not be FCA registered.ince j have the information requested I will be taking my complaint to the financial ombudsman.
Amazing firm
Amazing firm unfortunately this is the second time in 2 years I've had to use them and both time they helped me out and sorted the claim for me. Great service great professionalism,I already tell people I know to get warranty with this firm and will definitely be staying with them for the foreseeable future.

With my car breaking down and speaking to spectrum in the morning who sorted everything out for me , recovering the car and getting it to the garage a lovely lady Emily called me back the same night to give me the diagnosis and reassure me it was all under warranty and everything will be taken care of to my relief as it was quite costly for the repair work. Exceptional service all in a day , thank you Emily for explaining every detail and the good advice you gave on my car. Fantastic service !!!

I have a car giant warranty with spectrum. I was experiencing a gearbox problem. I contacted spectrum who was very helpful & recommended me to go to there gearbox garage in Tottenham , Brittanic . My claim went very smooth & was successful. My car drives good . Thank you spectrum.
Helpful and communicative
Emily was extremely helpful and guided me through the warranty process, chasing up the dealership who were doing my repair and phoning me when she said she would. Her colleagues were also very helpful.
Excellent Service and Repair
Our VW T Roc had an auto gearbox fault. Spectrum Insurance organised transport and repair with an approved specialist and covered all costs. Our case was dealt with efficiently and sympathetically. The customer advisors were all extremely courteous and helpful. This includes LSB who also organised a refund for the initial transport costs to the local VW dealer. We have been greatly impressed with them,

Great experience with Spectrum Warranty. Fast, helpful service from both the garage and warranty team—they even spotted and fixed an extra issue which was covered under the Warrenty. Platinum cover level , Highly recommend!
ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE experience
ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE experience with Spectrum Insurance Services. I would score them minus stars if I could! I took out a 3 year car warranty with them via the dealership I bought my car from, thinking the warranty would protect me. I couldn’t have been more wrong. It turns out that my car has a factory recall due to a Cam Belt. No car for 5 weeks now and Spectrum are doing everything possible to not help me. Unhelpful, do not listen and take forever to respond! It’s like trying to draw blood from a stone! Absolutely diabolical customer service. They look for every possible reason not to help their customers with claims. I DO NOT recommend you take out any form of insurance with this company or you will be severely out of pocket. It was pointless taking out a warranty with this awful company!

1st Class Service from the Guys at Spectrum, Purchased a used car from motorpoint and within 5 weeks the dreaded engine light came on, now I'm a panicker so as this happened on a Saturday afternoon I was worried the whole weekend, However 1st thing Monday morning I received a call telling me to take the car for diagnostic checks at a garage near me, the issue was quickly diagnosed and it turned I had 2 issues with my 02 senor and Lamda sensor, Both were ordered and repaired within a few days
