Great service
I accidentally double ordered an item. They called to confirm if this was correct, which it was not. Really appreciated that call which prevented the need to return an item.

Door glass parts
The parts for my door glass were delivered very quickly. The parts worked much better than the junk parts my customer bought. His parts the roller wheels broke off the first time the glass was rolled up.

I ordered the incorrect part the first time (never order parts in the middle of the night) and I noticed within a couple hours. I notified ss396.com right away and put in a request for return and caught the order even before it was packaged and sent. The refund on that purchase made it back to my account in reasonable time. I then reordered the correct part # and they arrived when promised.

Things they don't tell you
So they forget to mention everything comes from the factory. Then when they are notified by the factory that they don't have a part the SS396 site does not notify the customer. 3 weeks later I call and find out that they have to get permission from the factory to reimburse me the money spent. This whole transaction could take another 2 weeks. No. There is nothing they are willing to do to correct it. Yes they know it's a problem. Yes they know THEY got the money, but they have to wait and get authorization from the factory shipper.

Ground Up had the part I needed with the most reasonable shipping cost. More importantly, it arrived in perfect condition due to the box being tough enough to survive FedEx shipping. Thank you Ground Up!
