The parking space was not available

The parking space was not available. Photo provided was old. There are now gates across driveway and a car parked in the drive. No one at home to check but we believe the renter no longer lives there and this is not a rentable space anymore. Waste of money and time. There is also no way of reporting this to Stashbee. I would not be using them again and will use other parking providers

Scammers on website and lousy customer service

Customer service is really bad. First there is no call option you call and they say that they don’t take calls anymore. Then they took money but put my booking on hold because my ID could not get verified until two days later. They say it is because I was uploading pdf but then I uploaded pictures multiple times and the same issue happened.

Once verified I get a call from the host saying he is not in the city and doesn’t want to give me the keys because he is not receiving his payments from Stashbee, although I had paid and started my booking. He also adds that the garage might not be big enough for my car anyways and that the square footage on the details page is not the real one.
I contact Stashbee who “put the payments on hold until they investigate”.
To add this is the first 14 days and in the Uk as per the consumer rights act they should refund immediately as the keys were not handed over.

Very lousy service and they allow a lot of scammers. The guy proposed to go privately which explains why I am still here without options and without money.

Just to clarify, when you first got in touch, the situation wasn’t fully clear which is why we paused the payments while we looked into it. Once you provided the full details later on, we immediately reached out to the Host and confirmed that we will be issuing you a refund the next day. Your refund has now been processed.

On the ID verification side, we use a secure service called Onfido to help keep the platform safe for everyone. Onfido doesn’t accept PDF files, as these can be uploaded by anyone which is why we ask customers to upload clear images of their ID. This is noted on our site and once the correct format was uploaded, your verification was completed promptly.

We’re genuinely sorry for the inconvenience caused, particularly around the Host’s actions which clearly didn’t meet our standards. Please rest assured that we’re addressing this to prevent it happening again.

I have had my first booking and…

I have had my first booking and payment. It was something I thought I would try and now my spare room has generated a little extra money. It's really easy to use and you set the boundaries as to access etc.

Rent a garage

I have rent a garage from landlord who should not rent his property because on the same he was breaking a law. I asked Stashbee to help me with the issue, and I got it.

Service works well

They communicate by chat but they do communicate well. They kept replying until I knew what was happening. I have my carpark space.

I randomly put my rental space in this website, did not expect it will work. Actually, it turned out to work so quickly and the whole process is so smooth. Well done. the only thing I was hoping to improve is maybe the company could provide some latest advice about whether my price could go higher to be more market price. (BTW I am the host)

what a waste of time

what a waste of time. I booked a room then the owner cancelled me becuase he wanted to double the price so I booked again and he then told me I couldnt have the whole room as he wanted to rent it out to other people. then the other garages I booked no one got back to me!
