It´s super easy to connect with students and the platform really gives you everything you need to do the lessons. I´m super happy with it!

Great service for tutors to get their profile out in the local community

Too many tutors appear to be not available even listed that they are or misleading information that sessions can be done in person but you learn that’s only online. Wasted so much time but in the end got really nice and knowledgeable tutors that are genuine, within my budget and teach well, so I am grateful to this platform after all.

SCAM - Money taken from bank account

I registered as a tutor and received a request for lessons and payment from a student. I accepted and part of the payment verification process required me to provide bank details and to verify by providing a code from my bank statement. to veryfy, I had to make 3 payments myself, so absolutely SCAM. I can not get my money back, and I dont know if student got same treat. I was told I would receive credit to my bank account of less than a euro, but what happened is a payments were taken from my account of 5.02 euros. This is not mentioned anywhere and means I cannot verify my payment details. I contacted my bank and was told numerous attempts to take money had been made but were blocked. I have also contacted Superprof customer service numerous times and haven't received any response. Stay away. It looks like they have also taken money from the student but not even confirmed lessons with the tutor (me). What a disgraceful platform. I will be taking my business elsewhere

Great service. My son is getting the help he needs with schoolwork all in the comfort of our own home and with quality tutor not just someone that will do because they are local if that makes sense. Highly recommend.

Good website, east access, not too many serious students for tutors.

I like the flexibility in managing the calendar, rates, and formats (online or in-person), which makes it simple to organize lessons even with students living in other cities or abroad. In case of need, support has been quick and courteous in responding to my questions.
I recommend Superprof.ie to teachers who want to expand their network of students and to students looking for serious and qualified teachers in many different subjects.

I’ve enjoyed its simplicity of use and setting up a profile. I do wish that we had more than 24 hours to accept a request. They are easy to miss and without further details, you can lose students easily.

The website does not check if tutors are Garda Vetted for working with minors before they accept them. BEWARE.

There are some inconsistencies as whether someone is available in person or online and how long the class will be for the amount of payment.

Your platform for running the meeting itself did not work.

I picked an ambassador level music teacher - first listing on the site - who never responded tk my request even through she promised a 5 hour response time.

Superprof requires payment details to contact a tutor, but it is not clearly stated that this results in a €39 non-refundable Student Pass charge once a tutor accepts your request even if no lesson takes place.

The process is misleading and lacks transparency. Customer service refused a refund, claiming the service was fulfilled simply by a tutor accepting the request.

No one from Superprof will reply to my many emails!. This is an absolute disgrace of a company!!.

Good platform to find potential students. Used as a student before (where I could get first free lessons and find suitable teacher) and now as teacher.

Im not sure whats going on with this site recently. I haven't been successful in emailing them (no reply) twice in the last few days. Messages of new students are accompanied by requests to enter visa/mastercard details with the message that new students have already paid for classes, but in order to recieve payment you must have the amount available on my card and card details are requested. Paypal and other options to recieve payment are not available. Whats going on??
Edit: the reply asks me to contact them via email. I have done so twice, and am yet to recieve an answer.
