Excellent review for Carl, history teacher
My son needed a help with history program review of 5th year of college and history essay writing. We found, on Superprof.com, CARL, who was extremely helpfull since the first lessons. Carl is an amazing history teacher, very professional, skilled and friendly.

Disappointing
I was looking for a Maths teacher for my son to help him with his upcoming exams. We paid the 39€ subscription. The 5 star tutor was available and contacted us straight away. We paid tutor 28€ directly through Pay Pal, then Superprof charged my Pay Pal account for the same amount. My son unfortunately didn't get answers he needed and I am out of 95€. Looking for a tutor on other platforms. Read all the reviews on Trustpilot, took up the advice and cancelled our subscription straight away.

Do not use this site!
Used the site once and paid the Student Pass cost of 29 euro. It was NOT obvious that this was a monthly cost and I have subsequently been charged 6 installments! I have not used the site since and they refuse to refund. Do not get sucked into paying for the student pass.

Finding the right person is important on your journey.
The ability to choose a tutor and get the first lesson free allowed me find a tutor who suits me.
Remember half the fun is enjoying the work.
Highly recommend.

Shocking and won’t be using it again
Shocking and won’t be using it again. False advertisement AND have to pay 29€ on top of the grinds just to “match” me with a tutor, also advertised i get my first lesson free which i did not and had to pay upfront in the lesson so i basically paid 54€. They won’t give me my money back after signing me up for a subscription i didn’t ask for.

I'm very sorry to hear that the tutor you matched with did not provide you with an initial free class.
If a tutor offers a free lesson on their advert, they are obligated to offer this to new students. If this was not the case, we ask that you contact us at helloireland@superprof.com so that we can investigate this further.
I would also like to note that the Student Pass subscription is necessary to contact new tutors on our site, but you are welcome to cancel the subscription once you have matched with a suitable tutor and don't wish to contact anyone else.

Robin is a very good tutor who really knows his subject and can teach it well. The lessons have been very beneficial so far.

This company is a rip off - they took 60 euros out of my account without approval, tutors never replied to my messages - they are rip off merchants avoid - they prey on students

Reviewed the available teachers for my daughters grinds in Chemistry. We had chosen a teacher who was offering in-person grinds within Dublin. After confirming an appointment 'the teacher' came back and said it had to be on-line - OK.
When my daughter joined the grinds it was with a call center - not in country, connecting to a teacher who was not the teacher we selected - asking for my daughters notes so that she could work through.
Total scam - don't touch it!
