Very difficult to connect with customer service.
I returned an order on 4/29 and have yet to receive my refund, of which there is re-stocking fee even though I basically did an exchange and got a more expensive item.

Good start then down hill ....
I had great first hand experience and delivery was awesome and plain sailing. Very smooth no hiccups.
We were missing hardware though so customer service was great at replacing the full base. We only needed the hardware but they insisted we take a new base.
We had to PAY CUSTOMS was my issue so it was better to just mail the hardware we were missing, of a few bolts. They flat down refused to pay the customs fees, which led our company paying out basically for another table base. smh! We will not order again, even though the initial dealings were great it did not end well. Shame as we always need to order new bases being a stone fabrication shop.

We are very sorry that you feel negatively about your experience ordering from Tablebases.com, we appreciate your feedback and we take all comments into consideration for the future. International shipments (from the US to Canada) can be tricky as we have no way of controlling or predicting customs duties and taxes. We did offer to reimburse you for the cost of hardware if you wanted to purchase it locally to avoid taxes and delays in receiving the hardware. We do not have separate hardware for these table bases, they are packed as complete sets. Given the issues you experienced, we thought it best to ship a complete unit to ensure everything fit together, rather than procure and send separate hardware. While we did format the customs paperwork to clearly note that this was a replacement unit, and that tax/duties should not be applied, this apparently was not recognized by the customs department in your area.

This company is a gem!
Super-helpful and knowledgeable fellow on the phone. We got a table base to replace a wooden one that had a big problem, and for a few hundred $, we saved ourselves the $2000 it would have cost to replace the (custom) table or get a (custom) metalworker to solve the problem. This company is a gem.
