The positive after service reviews were an important part of my decision to buy from Tech Trade, so wanted to provide my own.
I noticed many of the the other refurb site comments talk about not having original Apple keyboard/mouse.
I called to check before ordering and when received, both seem brand new along with the iMac itself which does not have a mark on it (Gold ordered).
Overall, highly recommended. Diolch yn fawr..

Purchased iMac after carefully checking all details. On arrival, spent HOURS trying to transfer data from my previous iMac to this one….only to realise the migration assistant is not working because TECH.TRADE FAILED to deliver the iMac with the AS ADVERTISED Ventura version. It was actually delivered with the very old Catalina!
Called and spoke to a Ryan who was argumentative stating it’s advertised as going ‘up to Ventura, not saying it would be delivered with Ventura’…which is not true. I have screenshots and advertised as being PROVIDED WITH OS VENTURA! OS PROVIDED= VENTURA means it should come with that OS so it is falsely advertised. Wasted hours of my time this morning and now having to wait for Ventura to download to see if I is working properly. Plus mouse provided with it seems to have a mind of its own and does not work properly.
Ryan then said they probably did not get chance to update the software before shipping, but still …sending goods not as advertised is not right!
This is really not an acceptable way to treat customers who purchase from then in good faith. I needed a plug in, quick migration transfer and use …which has not been possible because of how tech,trade have falsely marketed this. If I had gotten some genuine apology and acknowledgement on the phone that might have been nice….but no gesture a took a while before he did actually say ‘ I can only apologise ‘. Really, how have people completely forgotten what good service means? 😡😡😡

We’re sorry that the iMac arrived with Catalina installed rather than Ventura as stated on the product listing, and we completely understand the frustration this caused when attempting to migrate your data.
For some context, the order was placed on Friday morning with next-working-day delivery. We have since spoken with our packing team and confirmed that we were experiencing internet issues that day, which prevented the Ventura update from downloading in time for the courier collection. The decision was made to ensure the machine was dispatched on time, but we accept that we should have communicated this to you before it was sent.
We would also like to clarify the telephone conversation. Once you had finished explaining the issue, the first response from Ryan was to apologise. There was certainly no intention to be argumentative or dismissive of your concerns, and we’re sorry if the conversation came across that way.
The machine itself is fully capable of running Ventura and the update can be installed, but we appreciate that this isn't the point — the listing stated that Ventura would be provided, and it should therefore have arrived with Ventura installed.
We also want to address the issue you've mentioned with the mouse. Please contact us if this continues, as we will happily arrange a replacement rather than leave you with an accessory that isn't working correctly.
We apologise again for the inconvenience and the time you've lost getting everything set up. We will also be reviewing what happened internally so that if an OS update cannot be completed before dispatch in future, the customer is informed rather than receiving the machine unexpectedly on an older version.

What’s the point of having an iMac that you can’t work with for even basic word document!!!

We sell a wide range of iMacs at different specifications and price points, with the specific model identified by the SKU number within the listing, along with the relevant specifications and operating system information.
Some older versions of macOS are no longer supported by the latest versions of Microsoft 365, which is a compatibility decision made by Microsoft rather than a fault with the iMac itself. The computer can still be used for word processing and many other everyday tasks using compatible software.
If running the latest version of Microsoft Office was a specific requirement, we would always recommend contacting our team before purchasing so we can advise which machine would be suitable.
That said, we don't want any customer to be left with a machine that isn't suitable for their needs. Please contact our team and we'll be happy to discuss the options available and help you find a more suitable model if required.

My p.c. simply got old, bit like me. I wanted an Apple i mac but found them to expensive. I found Tech Trade website.
Their prices are very reasonable.
I chose the machine i wanted. Payed a very reasonable price and received it the next day. It is in great condition, I plugged it in and it works great and looks great what more could i want for that price.

I should have given a lower star rating but the way my situation was handled deserved a 5*
My first IMac was delivered in less than two days of order unfortunately turned up with a cracked screen. Emailed and within in minutes a second one was on its way to us, that’s what I call Customer service this one turned up next day and it appears to be all ok too!
