Food cold warm if you was lucky . I will not be coming again and i wont be giving you a good review . And i wont be coming again . This waz our famliy christmas get together . So dissapointed with it all !!! Would of been better going to toby carvary

Visited on Sunday for the carvery and on entering it was freezing not very welcoming.it took staff a good 5 minutes to seat us at a pre booked table..went to the bar to order food and drinks which took almost 15 minutes.the place is absolutley beautiful and rustic but no fires were on to give it a cosy atmosphere.. the meat was perfectly cooked but was let down by cold veg and not very much to choose from,only carrots peas stuffing and a sprout leek and bacon mix.shame everything was cold.dessert was burnt so inedible.no childrens dessert choice which was dissapointing.i am aware there was staff issues but serving burnt food is not great.i won't visit ever again but thought why not give it a try for a nice birthday meal with family.i will stick to cooking at home where the variety of veg is more than twice what was offered

So glad to have found this place! The food was lovely, atmosphere is great and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. We were a party of 8 and they were so accommodating especially with a 4 year old. We will certainly be back!

Stunning location/great parking, beautiful layout/decor & warmly welcomed as a *solo* diner!
Enjoyed a traditional roast dinner (3 meat options, all perfectly cooked!) with the usual sides, condiments and gravy. In all honestly, at £9.99, that was a lovely, filling & heart warming experience and I will be back, thank you all!

It was the first time we’d been to the breakfast buffet, and for the price which included bottomless tea and coffee it was great, the bacon was fantastic, black pudding was delicious, and the coffee was nice and strong just like you want it in the morning.

The only time I’ve ever been asked whether there was anything they could have done better, showing a genuine wish to get things right ⭐️.

The only think I would say to prospective visitors is be aware that the items served can change from week to week, tea was in a giant tea urn (may be a better idea to have hot water & teabags).

Overall an excellent alternative to a home cooked breakfast, great produce, cooked just right and a very good choice, it’s a ten from me 👍🏻

Home cooked tasty food, staff are very accommodating and friendly , lovely service, great atmosphere,I bring 14 adults with learning disabilities
every Sunday and they love coming 😀

Beautiful food, the meats are absolutely beautiful. Service great and staff all really friendly. We were a group of 13 and really enjoyed it. A must visit but also must book!!
