The Country Manor Avis 

Another wonderful Sunday lunch, every thing cooked to perfection. The meats are very tender, and generous with lovely plentiful fresh veg. We also appreciate the warm welcome from the friendly staff. We have eaten here a few times and never been disapointed

The food was delicious, the beef melted in your mouth. The vegetable lovely and fresh .The staff were very helpful and polite could not do enough for us . Will be back would recommend to anybody . The views were amazing. Definitely deserved 5 stars . X

Came here for first time last week and the Sunday lunch was great .

Absolutely beautiful carvery was perfect from start to finish the meat was cooked to perfection 😁 the creamy potatoes were to die for.

6 members of my family came here for a nice Sunday carvery. Firstly, I thought it was slightly uncommon to be paying for the meal beforehand, trusting that the food will be nice. We did enjoy the carvery although the beef was a little dry, not a problem with a bit of gravy though. Things turned strange when the front of house showed another large booking into the same room as we were eating, she realised she had given their table to us previously. She then asked us if we had finished eating, mid meal, whilst the other booking was stood directly behind us. This felt uncomfortable and unorganised from the front of house and it almost sounded like we had stolen their table booking. Around 5 minutes later another waitress asked again if we had finished, as some of us were still eating, This gave the impression that we were being nudged out. At the end of the meal the plates were taken and within 60 seconds she was back with the table cleaner and cloth. No offer of a post meal coffee or desserts which is a shame as the desserts we saw looked nice. A member of our family was served a double whisky in a half pint glass to which we weren’t sure if this was inexperience on behalf of the bar or a lack of proper glassware. As locals to the area from our experience today it is hard to recommend to others and unfortunately I do not think we shall return.

On arrival we’d no idea what the routine was. Wait to be seated, grab some where random? No one to guide us as we came in. Would be a good idea to have a ‘please wait to be seated’ sign.
The bar was busy with only 1 barmaid and the other holding the fort was a waitress. Finally we got seated after wandering around looking for some staff on the restaurant floor. Queued a while for drinks and to pay for the carvery ticket you hand over when you go up to get your plate of food. No slices of lemon to go in my water, no lime cordial to go in my friends soda. Not a great choice of drinks at all and only 1 flavour of J20.
First visit to the carvery, not a great one unfortunately. All the staff look miserable, not welcoming at all. Must be sick of the Depressing music they have playing throughout the bar & restaurant.
Finally gets to the front of the queue at the carvery station. Gammon, turkey & beef. Meat looked good, plenty there.
Potatoes and vegetables needed replenishing, there was nothing coming any time soon. I got what was there and headed to the table. The beef was tasty and what I’d manage to get on my plate I enjoyed. Not the best experience for our first visit but we will give this place a second chance.

I visited Country Manor for the first time, and, as a vegetarian, I was a little apprehensive when I realised it was carvery day. I needn't have worried. Delicious vegetarian sausages/gravy were served as an alternative. An extensive selection of fresh veg on offer too. The rest of our small group enjoyed their selection of meats.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Country Manor is a short drive or walk from Haworth and set in lovely surroundings.

Country manor Sunday dinner
We came for the Sunday dinner.
We saw how lovely it looked by there Facebook page and took to try somewhere new.
The place is lovely we were taken to our table and explained how things work the staff were lovely.
The carvery it's self is nice that carnt be faulted but the only thing that let it down is that they ran low or out of vegetable and it was a wait for fresh to be brought out all though my self and the children managed to get some not all my husband had to wait and extra 10 min before he could get a full plate of vegetable and meat, Yorkshire pudding so he didnt get to eat same time as us.
If everything was out or a min wait it would have been spot on as the food was nice. They just need to get there timings on point.

Absolutely beautiful carvery , SEN child who is a really fussy eater and even he ate from the carvery, friendly staff and excellent chef, thankyou.

Attend a baby shower recently room was decorated beautifully and the food was just as amazing spesh mention to the choc brownie 🤤

Fresh Sunday dinner I’ve been twice in 2 weeks and now booked for Christmas dinner. Want fresh home cooked food then give the country manor a try! You won’t be dissapointed.

Absolutely amazing Lauren and the team made my wedding reception everything I could have wished for it was decorated beautifully everything guest commented on how amazing it looked. The food was 5 star could not fault anything about it I would highly recommend to anyone that wanted their special day there. We did not want to throw confetti after our wedding because there was a festival on so waited until we got back to the country manor Lauren did not complain once about us throwing confetti outside she even took some beautiful photos for us thank you Lauren and the team xxx

We've been several times for Sunday carvery and it's been excellent every time, the food is lovely and the staff are great and really friendly

Had my daughters 13th birthday here and also attended the NYE celebration. The decorations, food, staff and barn was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely food, very friendly and helpful staff, a clean and comfortable restaurant and a breath of fresh air to have somewhere that doesn’t cost an arm and leg.
