The Country Manor Avis 

We attended for the carvery which was absolutely amazing, there was plenty of choice it was hot and tasted delicious. We also came to the breakfast which was really good value for money, tasty food and a such tea and coffee as you like. We would definitely reccomend the Country Manor 🥰

Amazing staff and delicious tasting food everything was hot and fresh quality flavour. Such a warm friendly environment to be in definitely recommend!

Went yesterday with my husband for the first .
To say we were disappointed is an understatement.the food was absolutely terrible stewed vegetable.tat had a very odd taste and smell we could not eat .
And although the meat was ok the portion was so small the size you wold give to a small child .and frozen your shire pudding.dident deserve 1 star .we would never go back very disappointed .

We hired out the function room for my best friends baby shower, Lauren and the team went above and beyond in every aspect to make sure the day was perfect. The venue was beautifully decorated and the graze board spread was also lovely. I would like to thank the whole team for making the baby shower a perfect day.

Visited today, mothers day, gorgeous decorations made the venue feel very special for all mums.
The carvery was very tasty, lots of choice, well cooked and enjoyed by all.
It was very busy but staff were attentive and friendly & couldn't do enough to ensure all mums and their families had a great visit.

This place just gets better and better, had many parties here over the years, such a beautiful location stunning interior and super helpful hosts nothing too much trouble, even outside park for the young ones.

What a fantastic night we had at the country manor. The staff were lovely, the food and drink was great. The fireworks were Amazing what a banging atmosphere. The kids had so much fun playing on the adventure playground. Already looking forward to going next year. Well done guys 👍 😊

Booked a table for dinner in the morning and when arrived the venue was closed. Unable to contact anyone on the phone. And unable to book anywhere else at short notice.

Just had our wedding reception here and Lauren looked after us from the day we booked right though to the day stress free. The room was beautiful the food was amazing the staff couldn’t do enough for us on the day. The magic mirror was brilliant kept the kids entertained all day and then the adults 😂great day had by everyone thanks from Richard and Helen (mr@mrs greenwood)

Had our sons christening here and the decorations exceeded expectations they were so beautiful and so much effort went in to it, the food was delicious, many thanks for such a memorable day

Where do I start! Had a meal booked for 17 people on 1st September 2024. By chance one of the party looked at their Facebook page (30th August) and noted that they posted saying they were no longer doing meals. They were therefore contacted and they informed us that the meal we had booked was cancelled. The issues with this were two fold. Firstly they had only taken our pre order (due to the numbers involved) earlier in the week for the meal we had booked some weeks previously, why do that when they had no intention of providing the meal we had booked,they could have informed us then? The second issue is that they did not contact us to let us know it had been cancelled, it was pure chance we found out and followed up to see if they were honouring the bookings they had already taken. The answer to that is no! So given they have deleted posts warning people of this on their Facebook page I thought I had better put it here as a warning to others so those blissfully unaware that turn up for there booking (given they are not informing people) have a chance to salvage their planned meal. We were lucky in that at such short notice The Raggalds at Queensbury bent over backwards and managed to accommodate us and we thoroughly enjoyed their carvery. Those with bookings at The Country Manor be warned you will need to seek an alternative venue for any meals you have booked, just because you haven't heard from them it doesn't mean they will honour your booking as we found out. This apparently (from deleted Facebook posts) includes Christmas bookings too so please contact them to check to avoid disappointment at the time. Update to confirm we were NOT contacted!!!
